You're not allowed to bring any food or drinks in, but they now have enough food options that I think most could find something that works for them. The hot foods like burgers are pretty basic and remind me of school lunches, so they're a bit overpriced for what they are. The apple cider shakeups are the best though, and they also have great apple cider donuts and slushy. Highly recommend. Tickets are pretty expensive. If you're an adult without kids, it might be worth it to buy the full ticket pass (for apple picking and the fun farm area) once if you want to check it out, but in general I recommend buying the apple picking ticket only. You get to pick a bag of apples, take some cute pics in some of the areas set up for that purpose, and check out the pumpkins and the store, where you can buy the apple shakeup and donut. In the summer they also have flower picking events and the sunflower spectacular tickets which have also been a great time!

However, I bit the bullet and found the value($23.95 for barnyard tickets and $28.95 including apple picking) to be worthwhile as well as the selection of activities for all ages to be enjoyable. To every member of the staff that we approached, they were all very kind and informative. We got to enjoy the apple cider donuts, apple cider, pumpkin smash, and the ride to the apple orchards. We were surprised to see an event where they drop a large pumpkin high above ground, but it was very cool to watch (and wondered if this was because this was their last weekend of opening!)

You also get the opportunity to go downstairs and use their smaller pit of foam blocks which is always a fun time. Also they set up a small bounce house for free play time at times for some of the classes. Every station they set up for the different rotations of the classes also helps with a different skill and muscle area. My son has done the Wee peas (for babies 12 months and under) and has now just begun the One-Two Pea classes. The coaches are all great and the babies/toddler and preschool gymnastics classes are all top notch. You learn a lot of developmentally appropriate motor activities for your child and you have a great time together through music and movement! The staff is very helpful when we have questions about schedules and activities. We take advantage of the child drop off which allows us to workout and gives our kids something to do. They have daily drop off times which is helpful. We also enjoy the pool and hot tub, as well as the ability to go to any other YMCA in the area and use their facilities. It is a great value for our family of 5 and while we have only been members for a month, we look forward to our weekly visits and it has become part of our routine.

The first half seemed that way! There were book pages laid out in weather proof stands to read as we walked. It was flat and wide, and follows the water. But as soon as you turn the bend and walk up those stairs, everything changes. It gets thin and overgrown, roots and rocks are everywhere, and one misstep would probably send you down the hill on either side if you're not careful. I would definitely classify this trail as a moderate, and would not recommend the second half to anyone who isn't steady on their feet! The rest of the park: Beautiful! So many wide open areas! Water, which always earns brownie points for ambience. A few covered pavilions, a really fun playground area, and an impressive community center. I'm not sure I would walk the trail again, but I would definitely come back here for everything else!

I was a gymnast in my younger years and this was the gym I attended. So when signing my son up for…read moremany different things I thought this would be a good place to start him off to help with balance,teamwork and being comfortable with movement of his body and such. Staff seemed pretty friendly overall. I can't say the "regulars" who brought there kids there were all that friendly. The first day we walked in my son yelled "HI EVERYBODY" and was met with non reactive parents and children. Every class thereafter he became more and more scared to go. I don't know why. He wouldn't tell me. He just said the kids were not nice. After a few tries of covincining and frustration through out 2 weeks, I told him he didn't have to return. Every other class he has he loves. No problems whatsoever but with this one he really was upset. I could hear it in his cry. It was a different kind of cry (moms will know what I mean). I called and left a message to tell them he will not be returning for the reasons he only told me and said somneone could call me if they had any questions. I never received a phone call back. I'm a little torn on that... well if your kid leaves then why would they call back? Then I kind of think, well if it were me I'd want to talk to the mom and have her bring the kid in to see if we could figure out the problem and help encourage him to come back since I did pay $109 for the class and $30 for a ceremony he wont be attending. I guess maybe they see it as "well if they don't want to be here then we'll focus on the ones that do"? Sometimes kids just need a little extra push from someone other than their parents so they are comfortable with their environment. Guess we'll try to find another one.
