This was my first time getting my nails done since the salons reopened due to Covid. Horrible experience here. They rushed my pedicure due to an appointment coming in after I sat down .... why take me if you have an appointment? I would have preferred coming back , rather than being rushed. Was in and out in 20 min. The lady's tried to have me choose the red she wanted rather than letting me use a red that matches a gel color. Was not offered any other pedicure packages but that's ok ,I'm glad I didn't pay an extra dime there. Would highly recommended going to another nail salon in the area unless you want a rushed, messy pedicure. Also, Therese signs saying masks must be worn, yet the woman next to me did not have to wear a mask. Not safe. Definitely will not be back! read more

First and last time here. This was probably the worst pedicure/manicure I've ever had. For one, the woman cutting my nails was upset because I asked her to cut them shorter after I had just said that I needed then to be very short. She did such an awful job and didn't even properly file that I had to just do it myself before she painted my nails. She then proceeded to paint my nails and was so lazy and didn't pay any attention to detail. Of course, a day later, my nails are chipping. Go figure. My pedicure was equally bad. I asked for callous removal and she scraped my feet so gentle and did it take any of it off. The woman also did the most lazy job of painting my toe nails. They paint strikes aren't even going in the same direction. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. read more

I'm really disappointed...this is what I walked out with and they nails tech really thought that this was fine. I also asked for a trim and she chopped all of my nails off. All of my nails are bumpy and have bubbles in them. I won't come back here even to get them fixed. read more

Terrible experience, will never go back. Took my daughter for a fill and reshape. The male nail tech (if he actually is one) was SO rude to my daughter, but only when I left to go do an errand next door. She didn't even tell me until we were home Her nails look the worst I've ever seen. What was suppose to be a treat for her was a nightmare. I don't get my nails did, but my girlfriend sure does, and she loves this place. She dragged me out here with her the other day, and she doesn't yelp, so I thought that I would. My first impression was that it was a nice little store in a nice little plaza. Apparently, they've been open for over a decade so they must be doing something right. The whole plaza has also undergone a renovation and looks great. Instead of just waiting for her in a chair, I was able to walk around the area and go get some food, and there are many choices to choose from. They also have a nice little coffee bar next door you can go to and lounge while you wait. My girlfriend tells me that for a business in a nice area of Huntington Beach, that they are very reasonably priced. When we left she was in a very good mood with how her nails came out and the quality of the service, which puts me in a good mood as well. So for that, I give this place 5 stars :). read more

Lee has done my pedi twice now and does a fantastic job. She understands and does exactly what you want. My daughter got a full set and has her fills done here. She's been very happy with the quality so far. The place she used to go to was just ok, and her nails would pop off. I was very hesitant to post an update review but.. I went back around two months ago to try this place again. I didn't make an appointment but most nail salons take walk ins so I didn't think much of it. I walked in and was asked what I wanted (just a fill with new polish) but was quickly told that they didn't have time for me. I didn't mind waiting but I got a weird vibe with everyone looking at me while she repeated that they didn't have time. No apologies either. Mind you this was around 2pm. Very very nice ladies. I had one doing my toes and the other doing my hands at the same time. My gel mani pedi came out very nicely done. One of the ladies massages my hand for a longer period of time which I needed, they offered water, and let me relax in the massage chair for a bit. They were so sweet and good conversation. The staff tells us that this location has been here for 8 years. My mom and I who have been doing mother daughter outings getting mani and pedis have been going to Hawaii Nails on Adams until we noticed this location after the new facelift the property managers have done. With the addition of Mama's on 39, Bikram Yoga, Starbucks, Boardwalk and a Walmart Grocer ... we stumbled on this place after visiting a local coffee venue Caffe Caldo. We love it. The ladies there are detail oriented and best of all the pricing is set. There is no upsells or negotiating for additional service. We like it because for $22 we could get both our hands and our feet done with "spa" treatment. The massaging chairs, the food scrubs the leg lotion and application and massage is all inclusive in the pricing. We also like that because there is only one attendant per person, we don't feel cheesy about splitting a normal tip between two people to ensure that our price doesn't get too expensive for the service entail. We only have to tip one person. read more

Wth! How does this place have such a high rating??? Yes, the price is great; but at what cost people? The woman who did my pedi made my left toe bleed and the woman doing my fill made my right middle finger bleed. Not to mention I asked for gel nail polish and all she did was use regular nail polish and put the clear gel at the end. I got my medi and pedi at 9:30am, it is now 12:42pm and my polish has already chipped away and cracked on both my finger nails and toes. I am livid that yelpers are referring people to this place. I went here on Saturday, Nancy was the lady that did my new set. She removed my old acrylics with minimal discomfort. I asked to have the powder applied directly to my real nail so I wouldn't have to have the acrylics put on again. She did a great job and I was pretty impressed. I also had my eyebrows waxed by another lady, not sure what her name was. She did a Fabulous job! I like my eyebrows thin and she got them exactly the way I wanted them. I walked out of the nail salon with great looking nails and eyebrows for $35 including tip. I will be back here for sure! read more
