Long overdue! I have been coming here almost 10 years now, I LOVE this nail spot. It's clean and everyone is so nice and accommodating. The dip powder always lasts me well over two weeks and Katie is the best at pedicures, she takes her time and I never feel rushed. Went for a gel mani and a pedicure. My pedicure was good. My mani tech barely spoke to me, hardly looked at me, and cut me when cutting my cuticles. I don't get my nails done often and I know my cuticles and hangnails aren't perfect, but in my experience, when a tech draws blood, they clean it and at least apologize. She didn't say a word or attempt to clean it. I'm hoping she was using NEW or sterilized equipment on me! read more

They were lazy in the removing process of my previous dip and sliced my nail off using a plastic tip and then blamed me that my nail was already broken. Tried to consciously change my nail choice by doing acrylic or Gel X when I have said multiple time no already. Was not able to find the correct color associated with the selection provide and gave up after three tries. She had me approve all of the colors and the order they were applied in. The result was beautiful and exactly what I wanted! The price was reasonable as well. This is my favorite nail salon! I have been to a variety of Nail Salon's over the years and I always come back to this one, you just can't beat their work! It's best to call ahead for an appointment, but I have been a "walk in", and they always take you. My favorite thing about this nail salon is the pedicure I get! I get a pedicure with a five minute massage & callous scrub. Then I always have the Gel pedicure. It literally lasts for two months and never chips, looks perfect every day! Because I love wearing flip-flops, the gel pedicure always looks so pretty. When I walk out of there it feels like your feet are soft as a babies! I can't tell you how many compliments I get... and that's a rare thing, to be complimented on your feet! So happy they are local and I'm never disappointed with their work. read more

I wanted to like it here, but unfortunately I received one of the absolute worst manicures I've ever had. The tech was nice enough, but also seemed very jaded. My cuticles were not attended to at all, not one bit. I received no massage or oil/lotion, and worst of all - out of ten nails, nine of them were filed crooked! They were perfectly straight when I came in, and only needed a little filing to take a small amount of length off. Almost every single one was at an angle - so much so that my husband can even tell, and he's as blind to that kind of stuff as most men are!! I really don't appreciate having to fix my own nails at home after spending $50 to have a professional do them! The shop was also super busy at midday and seemed to be grinding people in and out at a fast pace. Maybe the techs get burnt out? I'm going to pass on a second chance. Even with a different tech, it's not the relaxing atmosphere I'm looking for when I spend a fair amount to pamper myself. One lady asked if I would like a 10 minute back massage because I "looked very tired." I stopped in for a pedicure and she just kept pushing all these extra's over and over for almost my whole pedicure. I said no on several occasions and she wouldn't stop. Walked in - no problem getting a seat. Major problem with getting what I asked for. Definitely be aware that you MUST insist on what you'd like instead of what they want to give you to charge you more. I asked for dips and she did gel. I asked for square and got oval. Favorite place to go! The most consistent, cleanest and versatile nail salon I have ever been too

Well, it didn't take me long to give Cosmo Nail Bar another try and I decided to celebrate my birthday with my friend there over the weekend. I believe in second chances and being that the salon is so close to home, I HAD to give it one more try! We had manicures/pedicures in the Champagne Room, which was wonderful. We were well taken care of and the receptionist, Chloe, was helpful and definitely knew how to provide top notch customer service. We absolutely loved our manicurist, Tina, who did a beautiful job on our nails. She was so personable and sweet. My friend and I had different ladies working on our pedicures, but we both got the Rock Star and TLC pedicure, which was perfect. My friend couldn't stop looking down at her toes for the rest of the day. She loved it and I'm so glad I gave it another shot. It's a new business and I'm sure it can be hard to hire and train new people. I'm also happy to see that their manager is dedicated to making changes at the front desk too--the first impression when you walk in the door is such a key component of a successful business. Last but not least, I enjoyed the fact that I can sip champagne or wine while I get my nails done. It's especially enjoyable when done with a friend! While the price is a bit higher than other salons that are in the area, I think Cosmo Nail Bar is definitely worth the splurge! They have a free manicure promotion now for new customers too, so I would not let that slip by if you are thinking of giving them a try. I'm very happy that I didn't stay bitter and guess what--I got a Cosmo gift card from a friend for my birthday, so I am definitely going back soon! read more

Had my nails done here a few days ago. The lady was nice but .... after getting home and examining my nails they are laugh at worthy. A friend actually asked me if I did them myself. I gave her reference for what shape I wanted. Left the photo up the whole time. . . They were decent looking until she went at them with a file for over an hour.... and they had closed already so the whole experience was uncomfortable. All the other employees were standing there waiting to leave while my lady slowly butchered my nails past the point of any return. One nail is so crooked it's nearly side ways. I've been coming to this place for 6 months. First, I hate that they use the electrical drill to remove gel. Hate. Over and over and over. Unnecessary. Just wait for acetone to work. And you have to pay extra to Jane your cuticles trimmed. Really? Primarily I'm leaving this negative review because I work. So I make appointments and I have for 6 months to get in. EVERY SINGLE TIME I've been I wait. Mostly 30 minutes or more. Today I had my feet in freezing water before I had a pedicure for 40 minutes. And I had an appointment. Don't go. Terrible. read more

I tried Cosmo Nail Bar for the first time last week and I am insanely disappointed. The service and salon were fine (nothing special but clean and nice enough) however I paid for dip, which should last AT LEAST A WEEK. I got my nails done on Wednesday Jan 4 and by Saturday Jan. 7 THREE nails had chipped and by today Monday Jan 9 my entire right hand has chipped broken nails. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. I am a working mom who had to pay for childcare to go get my nails done and refuse to pay again to go get them fixed. My nails chipped faster than they would have had I just painted them myself with regular polish for free. Go literally anywhere else. read more

Amending my review because this place, though still a nice salon is way too understaffed. Whenever I've gone lately they tell me 'come back later'. Even with an appointment, I had to wait 20 minutes before they could even start.... I would hesitate to recommend this place any more. Always come here for my manis and pedis. Not super happy with my experience. If they want more regular customers, all of their employees need to be excellent at what they do. I went in for a basic mani pedi and I had to ask the lady to fix my nails at least 5 times. She filed some of my nails unevenly and I ended up fixing some of them myself when she was running my card. Then when she painted them, they really didn't turn out great. If I'm paying to get a service done, it should be done well.. especially as a first customer. At the end another lady (maybe the manager) had to come and fix the polish that was running under my cuticles. I thought I would treat myself to this but I could probably do a better job on myself at home. Definitely won't be going back. read more

Two stars because they have been able to get me in last minute before but that's probably because nobody comes here so they weren't busy this place does a sloppy job. The top coat isn't "shiny" if you know what I mean? The nails look dingy and matte after because the top coat is weird. Came here this morning for a gel manicure because I was in a rush and didn't have time to go to my usual salon. David sat me immediately and got to work. I have very short, brittle nails and dry skin, so sometimes technicians are a little rough. However David was super gentle. He told me about the SNS dipping powder, which helps strengthen nails (I'm a habitual nail biter, I'll try anything that claims to make my nails nicer). I had to get out fast but he assured me it wouldn't take any extra time. And I'm so glad I did! Seriously, my nails are easily 3x as strong as they were when I came in and absolutely gorgeous.
