I very specifically asked the owner to be very careful with them and not to scratch the brushed nickel bases. Later he called back and said he couldn't swap the USB ports because they were too different. I said ok, let's just fix the original one then. A week and half went by, while I waited around with no bedside table lamp in my bedroom. When I finally called back myself to ask if it was ready, he said he had told me he couldn't do the repair. "Huh?," I said. "You only told me you couldn't swap them. I thought you were still fixing the original lamp." He made some very confusing excuses for why it wasn't done, and kept repeating "different." I gave up and said I was coming to pick up the lamp to take somewhere else. When I got there, the base of the new lamp was scratched up and the base of my original lamp was dented and scratched!!! He insisted he only touched the bottom portion. Ok, well, both lamps were in perfect condition when I dropped them off!!!!! There was no dent before!! I'm extremely upset because this was a unique arched lamp that took me a very long time to find when I bought it two years ago and it was my perfect bedside table lamp. I went to Holiday Fantasies Come To Life house this week to check out their Halloween magic. It was so awesome and perfect for Disney fans. This house was absolutely Disney-fied from head to toe, with ghouls and ghosts galore. I was in love with all of the lights. Not only was the entire house decorated BOOtifully for Halloween, but they had character actors there. They even had a hot dog vendor on site! So LA and I love it. Important to note though, this is someone's house. It's not a business or a shop, but they do accept donations to keep their fun going! This house's decorations are awe inspiring and I loved it! Their lights double for the Christmas Holiday season so make your way over there for some cheer.

It might not be the best in Halloween decor but I appreciate that they have shows performed by the different characters. I've seen life sized characters in costumes which includes Mickey Mouse, Captain Hook, Cruella Deville, Maleficent, and the witch in Snow White. I do understand that different characters perform routinely. I saw Captain Hook perform a fire dance in amazement of the crowd. Just like any other houses in Burbank, it's free to visit but they do ask people to donate voluntarily. There's also a photo opportunity to get a photo with the characters also free of charge.
