My 21 yr old son needed brakes and Magno was fabulous! After my son (3000miles away from home), described the sound of brakes that needed replacement I called all around for service. I spoke to Magno on the phone and got logical responses and an overall good feeling. Mango cared about my son's situation and doing a great job for us. My son, who isn't easily impressed really liked Magno(the owner) and the shop. He received terrific, professional service, fast and very competitively priced...actually very reasonably priced and far faster then Amazon Prime. This dude straight up robbed me. I gave Magno $5700 to put a new engine in my Jeep. I trusted him. I had sensed he was sketchy because he never provided an invoice for the previous work but he seemed sincere so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. After he supposedly put a new engine in. My car preceded to have more problems. I spend another $500 for the throttle control. After a year of nothing but issues. I tell Magno the cars acting up. The first words out of his mouth was well you know your warranty is up. I told him no I don't know you never gave me paper work on it. That's when I realized that theirs a good chance he's lied about the work done to the car. He's provided no invoices for any of the work he's done to my car. He thought it was completely ok that my engine went a year after putting in a new one. I personally think he never replaced it. I ended up having to trade in the jeep and it was misfiring all the way to the dealer. He cheated me and my family out of $7000. He's taking advantage of the Brazilian community by painting him self as honest guy a good guy. In reality he's looking for short cuts and ways to save and is not thinking of his customers. He's very manipulative and knows how to not take responsibility for things. He'll blame it on the care or if the issue isn't fixed. He'll just feed you nonsense. I won't ever return to this place. Don't waste your time and your money. They are dishonest, liars, and have excuses for everything. I bought parts, gave it to them, he didn't use them, and never gave me them back. He used the parts for another costumer, made money upon that, and ever returned anything. They did a terrible job, and they are not professionals. I had to visit them various times and they wouldn't fix my vehicle. They just kept delaying the process. His employees are also really nice and triggers conversation on the appropriate times. Magno is honest and he'll tell me straight forward with the wrong things with my car and he doesn't play games. They have good trained mechanics and the wait is usually not very long depending on the parts needed and the work to be done. I was referred to Magno by Post Road Auto in Marlboro when I frankly asked them about the best place to keep my three cars (2000 Honda Accord (son), 2004 Sequoia (mine), 2012 Acura MDX (wife's)) running well with a mechanic I can trust. I like to keep my cars for a while and I just wanted a shop I could trust. These guys are the place to go if you want honest, very fairly priced repairs and maintenance on your cars. I will say they are very busy (for good reason) and I think they have 6+ cars being worked on any time I go there but are also very really efficient. They have many mechanics that have done really great work on my cars. The one thing I love is that several times on my teenage son's 2000 Accord that has 300,000+ miles they are excellent at making great maintenance recommendations and making little tweaks to the car to keep it running well. On my 2004 Sequoia I had an issue that a Toyota dealership repaired twice in the last 4 years (rear hatch) charging me more than $1000...when it broke again, Magno's repaired it for $200... I almost fell over. Bottom line is if can find a mechanic you can trust it's golden. This is the only place I will go.... read more

I would stay away from this repair shop. Purchased a vehicle from this place and the car didn't even last a whole year. And before that, within days of purchase it showned tons of problems, had to keep going back for repairs and wasted not only hours but days bringing the vehicle in his shop. They can't seem to know how to fix vehicles and will only told me excuses (lies) to what needs to get repaired. Just to take your money away. I will never ever go back to this place. I wished I had returned this vehicle within the few days of purchase, when I had the lemon law warranty still under that 30 day. I know people who got scammed by their shop as well. I had to get my vehicle checked out by another repair shop and was told the repairs that needed to be done had nothing to do with what Magno was trying to avoid to have fixed. Magno within the last 2 months of having my vehicle going back in forth he had done work that had nothing to do with the problem that my car needed to get fixed so it would pass the state inspection. A much bigger problem that he wanted to stay away and probably knew he would've have to get it fixed when I had the lemon law on my side. Stay away. read more
