Does excellent work at a fair price. We have been taking our cars and our kids cars there for years.

I've known of this shop from before when it was Mitchell Motors and they were a great little local shop right in Bolton where I live. Now under a new owner, it's Myerson Garage and it's miracle but they are still a great little local shop! Tim, the owner, is super nice and very knowledgeable. I lucked out by bringing my Ford F250 for repairs because he actually drives a Ford F250 himself. Perfect!! My truck had a strange front end issue and I wasn't sure if it was misaligned, if there was a suspension problem or steering problem, but it was driving real wonky. After taking it to Acton Ford and Herb Chambers Ford in Westborough and them failing to diagnose the issue, I gave Myerson Garage a try. Tim was able to identify the issue right away and it was fixed in less than a week. My truck drives like new now!! A few days before I was scheduled to bring in my truck, my sunroof also broke and I called Tim to see if that's something he could fix. Yep! It's a fairly big job and the part isn't cheap, but I now have a new working sunroof too. This is the second time we have called and been squeezed in!!! When I stated my car to go to work and heard horrible grinding I called at 7:15 am and took my car right over! Knowing the hardship it would be to have me miss a day of work Tim got me in first thing and my husband picked the car up in time for his shift!!! We have 4 cars and 2 motorcycles. I've been taking them all to Tim for several years as well as recommending him to anyone who asks. He and his team are thorough and knowledgeable in diagnosing the issue; great at communicating what my options are; and have implemented the fix flawlessly every time. If only everyone worked like this. The fixes have been in the full spectrum of auto repair including minor suspension and engine repairs, sensor replacements, and oil changes; to a complete engine replacement on an '06 Highlander (he found me a used one with only 60k miles and saved me ~$1900!). Just want to give a shout out to Dick and his guys. Have used him for years. He is honest and fair. I have had the dealer tell me I need to do X or Y after they address a recall that I had them take care of under Warranty. I thank the dealer for pointing those items out and schedule some time with Dick. In many cases he says "you can get another 20,000 miles before you do that etc... Honest shop. Mitchel Motors is BY FAR the best auto repair business I've ever used. I'm guessing that they don't have any yelp reviews because people like me appreciate the quick turnaround and want to keep this place a secret. But really, Dick and the guys there are amazing. I can't tell you how many times they've bailed me out. They're smart and professional and more than that, they're HONEST. They've always explained all of my options and let me pick the one that works for me. And I've brought these guys CLUNKERS. Seriously. They've fixed junkers for me and they've fixed top of the line vehicles. And they're always the same. Good natured and unflappable. They have a winning way of doing business and they just get the job done, day in and day out. Sometimes you go to an auto repair place and the person is so sketchy that you're like "oh crap, not another one of these." But Mitchell Motors is the opposite. You can tell the moment you meet them. Actually, first you're greeted by a sweet dog named Marlow who loves everyone. Then you meet the guys there and it's just smooth sailing from then on. These guys aren't the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for and they never rip you off. The prices are consistently fair. And they always seem to go the extra mile for you, doing little tweaks without billing an arm and a leg for it. Every time I pull out of Mitchell Motors, thrilled with the fair prices and relieved by the excellent work, I think "I have to write a yelp review for these guys." And I always put it off. Well a few days ago they pulled a miracle for me with one of my cars that was acting up and I just couldn't put it off any longer. The mechanics here are helpful and kind. Took my car here after getting quoted $800 for a front brake job at another mechanic and was told my car only needed rotors and pads on the front brakes which would cost $275. Very quick and very nice. read more

Mitchell Motors has been absolutely fantastic for me. I live very close by and have a car as it seems to have perpetual issues. I always get a fair price, and really high-quality work. They have saved me many dollars as there have been times where I have thought I diagnosed the issue when in turn I was completely wrong and would have spent far more getting something fixed it wasn't necessary. I have used Mitchell Motors (when owned by Dick Mitchell) several times to service one of my cars and was very satisfied with the service. In August 2018 I had occasion to take that car to Mitchell Motors since the business was sold to Tim Meyerson. I brought it in because the ABS warning light was on. I mentioned to Tim that this was my son's car, an older model, and that at some point repairing would no longer make economic sense and if the repair cost would be high I would instead retire the car and take it off the road. It was determined that an ABS tone ring was needed and Tim called to let me know that new brake pads and rotors would also be needed on all four (4) wheels. I had the work done knowing that the car was up-to-date on all other services and maintenance. After I brought the car home I noticed that there was a clicking sound coming from the rear end and when I was in reverse I could hear a metal-on-metal scraping noise. Neither of these issues had manifested themselves before the service. I made another appointment for Tim to check and brought the car back in within one week of the original service. When I dropped off the car and before I could utter a word, Tim, without even checking the car, rattled off a litany of specific problems, issues and parts needed AND did I really want to move forward with it. All this from a clicking and metal rubbing noise I described and with zero investigation at the time I brought the car back in the second time. LET ME REPEAT - HE KNEW WHAT THE EXACT PROBLEMS WERE WITH ZERO CHECKING AND NEVER MENTIONED ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS WHEN I PICKED UP THE CAR THE WEEK PREVIOUS. Later in the day, Tim called and re-confirmed what he had told me when I dropped off the car. Bottom line, Tim Meyerson knew, before any investigation, that this work was necessary but failed to mention any of this the week prior. The original work cost approximately $800 and bringing the car back in within less than a week I was told that I needed at least another $1,000 of work. THEY KNEW OF THIS ADDITIONAL WORK BUT NEGLECTED TO SAY ANYTHING AT THE TIME OF THE FIRST REPAIR. This was a scam, plain and simple. Knowing that I had indicated my spending caps, the new repair was revealed after I had invested $800 the week before and that this additional work would be necessary in order for the car to pass MA inspection which was due before the end of the month. If Tim had revealed the total extent of the repairs when I brought the car in the first time I would have said "no" to all the work and immediately taken the car off the road.
