He was phenomenally nice, helpful and just a genuinely awesome person to deal with. Their food is top notch, everything is fresh, the chicken is outrageously good and the grilled cheese my daughter got was out of this world good (I stole a bite). The hot honey chicken sandwich is addictive but most of all knowing their ingredients are fresh and there aren't short cuts is the best part of the whole Nan's experience. But Chris was the kind of employee everyone dreams of hiring, it was over a month ago we were there but I made it a point to write this review because of him and their food. Love, love, love it! It was so tasty but it also literally felt good while eating and after. Like I was fueling my body with pure goodness. I wish we had a Nan's near where we live. We would definitely a be regular hands down.

Cha-shu pork in a soft bao bun with crunchy vegetables and okonomi sauce very similar to a tangy sweet barbecue sauce. Nice that you can order them individually instead of committing to a set of three or so. Crispy Brussels Sprouts: A small serving with small pieces, lots of batter per piece and fried garlic integrated, but very light and brittle, so not too heavy. Good flavor, aided by the ginger sauce. Just not much sprout here. Crazy Noodle: Very soft flat rice noodles with an assortment of vegetables led by carrot and broccoli, tossed with protein of choice (I went chicken) in a spicy basil sauce that had some light sweetness for balance. Very enjoyable. Promising first visit. Hoping to try more menu items from the different categories to find their strengths.

I waited about 5 minutes for my Americano and when it came it was with a different syrup than the one I had ordered. The barista said they were out of that syrup, but I was a little annoyed that they didn't just ask me what I wanted instead - I was standing right there after all. But that is my one small complaint. The barista was nice about remaking it with the replacement syrup of my choice so it wasn't a huge deal. To eat, I got the peach danish. It was very yummy! It didn't taste exactly freshly baked so I can't give five stars but it was still nicely crisp and buttery with a good amount of filling. My friend is gluten-free and unfortunately there weren't a lot of options for her, but the raspberry square she got she said was very good. My Americano was also yummy and not too bitter. Just a note that by 10:30 the pastry case already had quite a few sold out items so that's something to keep in mind if you come later in the day for a sweet treat. In my opinion Maynard is lacking in cute cafes so I'm glad to know Boston Bean House is an option with decent food and drinks! I do want to come back to try their sandwiches too.

A very good piece of baguette, to be fair, but I just wish there had been a little more flavor. The deli itself is very cute with lots of imported Italian foods, like unique pastas and sauces. Service was speedy and super friendly. I definitely need to go back to give them another chance!
