The BS we dealt with for years with these campers and dealers would make this the longest Yelp post ever. So let me skip to the good. Everyone at General RV has been amazing! Their sales people are amazing. They bend over backwards to make it work. But even better? Their service department is second to none! We are on year two with our camper and the service department has always gone out of their way to make sure we are taken care of. Lori is a TOTAL rockstar! Unlike Camping World, there is no BS and lies. The General RV service department gets it DONE. So responsive! So communicative! I thought I had found a small town camper place that was truthful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately,…read morethis place missed the mark most significantly possible way, SAFETY. I was changing out my recalled regulator, so I needed the right parts and advice to replace it. They said it was the regulator for the recall but the mounting bracket was too small and the nipple between the main hose to the camper was not provided, so had had to use the old rusted one. All of that was fixable by their maintenance guy modifying the bracket but the most frustrating thing was he sold me regular white water tape. Anybody knows that propane tape is yellow. I honestly don't care about having to modify the bracket or using the old nipple. My father always told me that people that don't care about the little things tend to have problems with the big things. They refused to refund me for the white tape after being there 10 minutes ago and argued with me about basic propane safety. If they can't handle SIMPLE SAFETY, what else are they hiding or cutting corners. I miss the good old days....

We saw an advertisement for an RV of potential interest in their Woodford, VA lot, and sent an email expressing our interest to see the vehicle. A sales representative, Kurt, reached out to us, and we scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. Upon arrival, we found that Kurt had the RV waiting for our inspection. He had opened the "pop up" on the RV, and it had been freshly washed. Kurt was great, patiently answering questions -- before and after our test drive. We were also very pleased that he didn't "pressure a sale" nor did he try to up-sale us. Following our meeting, he sent professional emails to both me and my husband. We're still considering what options are most important to us in an RV, but Campers Inn will definitely be a company that we would consider purchasing from. We obviously can't speak to their prices, financing, nor servicing.

I had to bring it to them to continuously address issues. I will admit some of what was being addressed was not related to them and it was something that may have occurred or I asked to have put on. But the warranty ticket was/is about 5 pages long. They have been slow to fix things and they do not respond to emails or calls. Recently they had my RV for almost 6 months and did nothing with it except create 2 big gash in my interior doors and sink area and fix only one of 7 items I brought it in for. One of which was they had bent my bumper the last time it was there and was supposed to take care of it but did nothing. They don't care about you after the sale. They have an extremely horrible business practice. The managers do not even call you back. Buyers beware! They are only nice to take your money initially. Everything negative you read about them online is true. Don't trust your money to these con artists. Ask yourself one thing if you read this review. Why is it that they only comment on people who give good reviews but never address the reviews with issues... just saying the customer care is telling! A caring company would try to turn a review to a positive. However you are not seeing that at all....
