I've lived near this place for 4 years but kind of dismissed it due to its location in a strip mall between a grocery store and an auto shop. I was wrong! Do not sleep on this place! They have a great selection of cigars and tobaccos. I found exactly what i was looking for and more. Magnum's is a great upscale cocktail/cigar bar in North Phoenix. The staff is absolutely amazing and the scene is great. The only thing I didn't truly like about this place is that it had charcuterie boards on the menu, however, they only had food for people who made reservations. Amazing spot to grab a cigar and enjoy it in the back. The back part of this place has a speakeasy setting, which sets this place apart from other lounges in the valley. Amazing drink selection, staff in the front are knowledgeable about cigars, staff in the back are knowledgeable about their drinks. Also, great bottle and alcohol selections in the main part. Stopped by here for a cigar and whisky w/ some friends to catch up. Such a great little spot for good conversation, EXCELLENT service, and a very warm, mahogany-type ambiance. Cigar selection was absolutely fantastic - their humidor is so well stocked w/ all types of options so you can find something that works best for your style and flavor profile. The staff is VERY knowledgeable and helpful, answering questions w/o judgement and making the experience all very enjoyable. Plenty of parking in the strip mall parking lot area. Drinks were fantastic - their whisky/scotch menu is extensive, and they make great old fashioneds. A buddy had one of their pinots, which was also wonderful to pair w/ a nice cigar. Servers were super attentive, providing ice water constantly and checking on us whenever we needed something. Made the evening very memorable and enjoyable. They take your cigar wrapper and add it to your tab to make everything smooth and streamlined w/ your tab. Hours are reasonable and you can spend the evening here chatting w/ friends. Would like for their ventilation system to be slightly better with more circulation of fresh air. I love a great stogie but it's always nice having fresh circulating air rather than more stale cigar smoke. Had an absolute blast at Magnum's Cigar Lounge this last Sunday. My father surprised me and took me here for a chill w/ father and son day. The vibe in the liquors store, and humidor is beautiful. They have any bottle you could think of. I myself am a bourbon connoisseur, and picked up a bottle of Smoke Wagon out of Las Vegas that I am excited to try at home and add to my bar. My father and I picked out to cigars and had a seat in the bar. The vibe in the bar is very elegant, and speak-easy type. I chose the Dapper Dan cocktail that was very tasty. This is one of the best cigar bars in Arizona. The ambiance is very beautiful, dimly lit with alluring decor. The staff is extremely attentive, accommodating, and nice - making the service excellent. They have beautiful craft cocktails that taste delicious. I personally love the Mint Julep made with bourbon. The have multiple charcuterie boards to chose from. I enjoy the regular board, however they also offer a hearty board and nut variation. I'm personally not a smoker but do enjoy the establishment. Let sell cigars in house and will also light it for you if needed. The women's bathroom is also something to note. Unfortunately they didn't open the bar until 3pm weekdays but the manager was happy to let us sit in the bar area and BS while we enjoyed our cigars. I had read my friend Nick and Kate's review of this joint, and finally decided to stop in for a cigar the other night. (Who was sitting at the bar? Nick, of course...he says it's his "home away from home".) Located in a little strip mall, on the corner. A tad unassuming when you first pull up, but once you get inside, the place is AWESOME! Pretty large with 2 halves of the storefront...one for the retail section, the other for the lounge. Being first timers, we walked in headed towards the humidor. The guy working the register was friendly and explained how everything worked. We picked out our cigars and made our way to the lounge. Here is where it gets nice............... We sat at a high top table and our waiter/server came over. He took the wrappers off our cigars, asked what kind of cut we wanted on them, cut them, then proceeded to do the priming (burn the top/end of the cigar in order to ensure a good cherry) of the cigars. We put them in our mouth, he gave us a final light with the torch, and we were on our way. I had never had anyone do that sequence for me before, and it was freaking awesome! Usually, you get your cigar, have to cut it yourself, have to try and find a lighter or match etc. Here, they take care of all that shit for you, and it's very convenient, relaxing and nice! Of all the things I was impressed about here at Magnum's, that opening sequence of starting my cigar was my favorite. We placed an order for some drinks (I had a Sprite and my buddy had a couple IPA's) and enjoyed taking in the vibe of the place. They had some Rage Against the Machine on the speakers, and there were a couple of groups just chilling smoking their stogies. It was a very, very relaxed atmosphere. Service was great all night! When you are done and ready to leave, you basically get your tab and pay the bartender for your drinks and cigars you had that night. Hell, even the bathroom was super nice! They had hand creams and lotions, listerine, tissues, different kinds of soaps, colognes etc. Super swank! Nicest cigar lounge bathroom I have ever seen! Very clean and cozy! The only knock on this place is that it is a little bit more pricey than other spots. The My Father Cigar I had was about a $1.50 more than what I pay at Fox, and the beers my buddy ordered were STEEP ($11.00 for a 10 ounce pour...ouch!). My soda was $3.00...fair enough. It was one of the nicer cigar bars I have ever been to. I will 100% be back. Fox Cigar Bar in Scottsdale is my jam, but this place is way closer to work/home and service was just as good, if not better in some aspects. Can't wait to come back to enjoy another cigar and relax in their lounge! read more

From the outside it does not look like much but when you get it,WOW. Pros: Large humidifier with large selection of cigars and good prices. The bar is layed out nice with large liquor selection. Person up front was nice and polite. Cons: bar tenders music selection is hard rock so you get a headache while sitting there. Bar tender was slow even tho there was only 4 people there. Stumbled across this little gem on a Tuesday afternoon. Matt and Charlie we're behind the bar, very hospitable and knowledgeable on the 450 whiskeys they have to offer. Not being a whiskey drinker myself, Matt let me try a few samples of the beer on draft but I settled on the Sav Blanc that's served in its own small bottle so you get two glasses. My friend a tequila drinker settled on her fav Azunia Blanco on the rocks. The place is awesome with a great vibe! Also has an amazing to go beer selection. Will be back again! read more
