I received the worst customer service experience today at Dr. Sloas' office. I had scheduled an…read moreappointment for my daughter over a month back for today November 25th at 11 AM. I never got a confirmation about the appointment, so I was confused about the date and time. I called last week multiple times and they won't answer any phone calls or return voice mails. I finally asked to talk to a manager at Costco and I was directed to Paul, the assistant service manager in Costco. I explained to him how it was impossible to get hold of anyone at the optometrist's office. He walked down there personally and asked them to call me, as I had been calling to ask for my appointment details. A girl from that office finally called me and told me that my daughter's appointment was scheduled for Monday, November 25th at 11. I asked her why they weren't answering phones Or returning voice mails? She goes because the phone was not working. I asked her why wasn't the phone working.....she goes, how do I know? I am not the phone company!! I asked her if that's how she usually talked to customers and that was extremely rude. So today I was there at 10:50 am with my daughter for her appointment at 11 AM. The first girl told me there was no appointment scheduled. I asked her that was not possible. Now, the other girl told that my daughter's appointment had been cancelled. I was shocked and so angry. I asked them why was it canceled? She goes because I didn't give my credit card number to reserve the appointment . I told her no one asked me for my credit card number ever. How am i supposed to know to give the credit card number? The doctor came out and he tells me it isn't their fault. I should have given a credit card number. I again repeated that no one ever asked me for it. They told me I could come at 12:30 for an appointment. By this time, I was done and so was my daughter. She said mom, please let's just schedule an eye exam somewhere else. I agreed and walked out. I still wanted to talk to the assistant manager Paul about this horrible experience. Paul was extremely busy, but he called Tarra, another service manager to help me. I told her the entire story. She went down to talk to them and got me the appointment for 12:30, which I didn't want with this facility anymore, but I just wanted eye glasses urgently for my daughter so took this appointment. Tarra came to look for me and asked me if I could show her a log of my phone calls to Costco, as the staff at the optometrist's office told her that I had never called to make an appointment. . I showed her my call log and I also found the text they had sent 2 days back to say my appointment was for November 25th at 11 am. she took a screen shot with her phone and went down to show it to them. Within 5 minutes I got a call that the doctor was done early and he could see us now. I went down with my daughter. The doctor says to me with a smile.....see, it's all settled now. literally no regret, no apology for how they treated me. I told him that I was extremely upset and I had absolutely nothing else to say and I just needed my daughter's eye appointment to be done. I asked the name of the girls who treated me so rudely. One said her name was Vanessa. The other said she didn't have to give me her name. If I am to guess, I would say her name was Marie, the same girl who canceled my appointment for calling her out on her rude behavior on the phone. It is so shameful that these people have their office in such a wonderful business like Costco. I really hope Costco reads my review and is aware of this experience.

He asked me to please come back in so they could do some tests and he would show me the results. I agreed and after review I do need surgery in my right eye and he gave me several doctors to choose from as they don't do the kind of surgery I need. I felt better after talking with him. I still have very unfavorable issues with Sebastian since the first time I left a review. He had called me to threaten and belittled me after what I said in my review. There is no place in the business world where Sebastian belongs.

Her friendly, talented, and efficient staff always make you feel welcome and appreciated, but most importantly provide effective examinations on their state-of-the-art equipment all right there in the office. Dr. Chriss has recently performed ReLACS surgery on my right eye and will be operating the same on my left eye in two days. I am completely satisfied and have every confidence in successful outcome. The wait was minimal and I was in and out of the office in less than an hour. Everyone form the front office to Dr. Chriss was helpful and understanding. I had to call to reschedule my follow up and again, it was no problem and I was able to get in a few days later. They also have an optical service in house so I have switched to their office instead of popping in to see whatever doctor happens to be at Lencrafters.

Maria sold us the glasses and she was excellent, helpful and professional. we picked up the glasses on 9/9/26. Vicki was our representative. She advised she did not know how to set up the glasses that Vance was the expert at it. By this point only customers were my aunt and me. (NO DOCTOR in store.) Vicki advised glasses needed charging. (No charger provided by Oakley and none in store.) The glasses had some charge left and she attempted to help us, reading the instructions. I struggled and finally paired the glasses to my aunt's phone. So Vicki said you guys go ahead and keep playing with it. I am doing something for the doctor(Sign said NO DOCTOR). Vance was no where in site to help us. I said "what , can't you please help us further ?" She said she did not know. So I packed up the glasses and advised her that we were truly disappointed because they sold the glasses to us and should be able to help us set up. Again, Vance, the expert, did not come out at all to help us. I think that as an agent of these smart glasses, the store should have a spare USB-C cable and have their employees trained to help the customer. Vicki appeared to be wanting to get rid of us ....I guess she had nothing else to offer because she really had no knowledge of the set up, and she advised Vance told her to try and help us on her own. (per her words). When we left another lady had arrived. Hope she received better service. It is a sad situation when you depend on the experts and pay for these expensive glasses and no one is there for the customer. Everyone was extremely professional and I told Dr. Ben Larson his office is much more caring than the huge optician office I have been using for far too long. I may change to him now. Their prices also seem reasonable. Only one problem. The appointment had to be rescheduled once and their staff double booked even though they had texted me conformation of my appointment. I showed them what they sent, and they apologized and fit my mother in. But even with that pretty significant mistake I am still giving them 5 stars.
