I ordered the bowl with double rice noodles as my base, broccoli, mushrooms, tofu, and teriyaki chicken. Love the food but the employees are so unfriendly & nasty Went there twice this week got a big Mahana shrimp13.99, 2.99 for shrimp and chicken extra noodles 1.99 . bowl with a side of poke cost me 25.00 which I was only charged 5.99 for (spicy poke) then the second time I went got the smaller bowl 11.99 just chicken and two veggies and side of poke that cost 22.00?? I proceeded to tell the guy and girl that the owner or the other guy only charged me 5.99 but today you're charging me 9.00 for a side of spicy poke? He then proceeded to give me a nasty response and says oh well I can't change it or whatever he did I can't change. I said I have the receipt to show the cost from last time. It's sad that the fact that they charge what they want when they want. Yet I could've got the same thing g the first time for 3.00 more if that was the case. The chicken was dry this time and noodles tasted overly citrus. The girl even remembered me and rang me up but proceeds to tell the big guy in the kitchen who then proceeded to be nasty as he came to the front to see the issue. This location has been a constant source of disappointment. It's hit or miss. Food is at best room temperature, meats are dry, veggies are undercooked (raw) or overcooked (burned), bowls are NEVER filled the same (regular size look like kids bowl) and big mahana bowl is half full. Their measuring spoons are supposed to be used correctly. So inconsistent. They actually pick out meats or string beans if it looks too much! This is NOT an allergy friendly location since the staff is indifferent. Manager clearly doesn't seem to care, either. On the plus side, sauces are tasty. Yay. read more

This place just opened and it used to be a smashburger. It had pretty decorations and such cute island vibes. The place looked clean. It was empty when my sister and I went on sunday afternoon. I ordered the big kahuna bowl and she ordered the create your own. I was excited about the dole float and soft serve since I always get it when we go to disney. They have different flavor choices for dole soft serve. We got the dole float of mango and pineapple. It was pineapple juice and then soft serve on top. I thought the soft serve would be filled above the cup like the one in disney but it was not. The food was great. It is a bit pricey. We came here for the first time tonight. My first impression was favorable, it is clean and fresh looking when you walk in. It has a West Coast/Hawaii feel to it. The food was also good! My husband got the Spicy Ahi Aloha bowl, and my son and I each got a build your own bowl. I thought the portions were a good size. I didn't realize that the sesame noodles were served chilled, but they were still tasty. I had the teriyaki chicken and the shrimp along with the noodles, mushrooms, and Brussels sprouts. I really appreciated that everything on the menu was gluten free, including the teriyaki chicken, the noodles, and all of the desserts! Overall a positive experience and we would come back. Also, the Fresca was delicious! (We tried the mandarin turmeric citron flavor and the hibiscus rose flavor and both were refreshing and flavorful) Definitely give them a try! read more

They aren't lying about the fresh part. Food tastes great. The person preparing my bowl was so attentive that I tipped her. There is room to sit and eat. I recently just got diagnosed with celiac disease, and I live super close to the establishment and I was pleasantly surprised when the food was absolutely delicious! Does not taste gluten-free whatsoever, and even the person I was with who's not gluten-free was very happy with their meal and said they would definitely be going back there. I called the store to inform them about my order, the call then dropped on my end due to inadequate reception. Then the phone number was out of service immediately after the call dropped. I proceeded to go to the store to inform them about the issue, person behind the kitchen was very dismissive and rude. I went to Mahana Fresh for a treat last Sunday. I was combatting cabin fever because of the snowstorm on Friday. I wanted a healthy salad and Mahana Fresh is close to the grocery store to which I planned to go. The interior of MF is a breath of fresh air. The decor is derived of aqua tones reminiscent of going to Key West or other sunny destination. The selections include fresh fish poke bowl variations, including an option to make your own. I chose the spicy ahi tuna Aloha Bowl because its ingredients sounded delicious. And it was! My bowl was full of fresh ahi tuna, roasted Brussel sprouts & broccoli, and yummy sesame noodles in a light oil and the zingy sauce was on the side. Although the place was relatively empty, more snow weary folks came in to enjoy the slice of sunshine. The staff who greeted me was full of sunshine, too. We both had the Ahi Tuna protein which was large chunks of tuna and we both had the coconut rice base which was delicious. The first time I stopped in the portions were very small for the price. I thought that this would be fixed with time because they just opened, so I tried it a second time weeks later. Again, the portions were very tiny. The bowl wasn't even filled up half way! The rice was average and not great. The vegetables were very good but again five tiny brussel sprouts is a ridiculous size. When I go to Chipotle I only eat half of my rice bowl because the portions are good.
