The food was awesome. Our wait person was excellent. The only downside, the bartenders were not very friendly (that's where we started)

This will be my second time eating at this restaurant as I wanted to give it another try and I was eating with different people that did not have a food restriction. Originally had a 9 PM reservation but was able to replace it with a 7:15 PM reservation. Unfortunately, the road by the restaurant was closed, making it very difficult to find parking and being able to physically walk to the restaurant. Due to construction, we arrived at the restaurant by 7:30 PM, which, as stated per policy that 15 minutes was allowed in order to not get our reservation reservations canceled. My party of three was not able to get seated until a little after 8 PM, not sure why. I believe we were told that they were not enough tables despite our reservation. Honestly, it wasn't that big of a deal but my party and I were a bit confused lol. We were seated in the area of the restaurant that was a bit, secluded from the rest of the floor, I think there were only three tables total in that section. Our server was amazing. His name was Jason. He did such a good job at explaining the dishes we were interested about, gave us really good recommendations and took very well care of us. We ordered a lot of food! Appetizers, we started off with the Korean fried chicken, which was crispy and crunchy. I would get them again as an entrée. We also got the house rolls that came with a gochujang like butter, had a hint of sweetness along with spicy. I ordered the American Wagyu ribeye as recommended by our server Jason. He told us that the rib I would be so soft that a butter knife could cut through it, honestly, it didn't taste as amazing as it sounds. I hate to put that in this review, but maybe it was my unfortunate luck. No complaints though because it was still good, just not as described. Big old chunk of meat, so it was nice being able to take it home as well. I guest at the table ordered the bra, short rib rigatoni, it was very interesting to see the Korean flavors connect with pasta! The other guest at my table had the very short rib with sweet potato grits, the short rib was so flavorful that I'm intrigued to get that next time. I was pleasantly shocked at how much flavor and how tender it was, I was jealous. I'm a big fries girlie, so we ordered the side of fries with spicy ketchup. To my surprise, the ketchup was actually spicy. We also ordered the brussels sprouts as our side, it was addicting. Probably one of the best brussels sprouts I've had. The banana pudding and Keylime pie was for to go, and unfortunately for you guys I did not get dessert to go. Although I will not be able to describe it to you all, the two guests I went with said they were too good. For some odd reason, this visit was so much better and tastier. Maht | Chef Kevin Lee's Maht arrives as one of Oklahoma City's most ambitious dining experiences, threading Korean-American influences through a steakhouse framework with results that range from very good to genuinely unforgettable. Start with the sweet shrimp carpaccio stop everything, order this first. It's the rare dish where every element earns its place: delicate, briny sweetness from the shrimp harmonizing in a combination of flavors that felt both surprising and inevitable. The table agreed it was the dish of the night. The strawberry crème bingsu may be the most talked-about dessert in OKC right now, and the hype is earned. Strawberry sorbet, fresh berries, condensed milk, whisper-light bingsu snow, and the crunch of pistachios -- it's architectural and refreshing all at once. We found Maht because of a bingsu video on Instagram, and I've had bingsu in Korea. This is the best I've encountered. In between, the kimchi risotto impresses with genuine kimchi funk and umami depth. The salt + pepper green beans are deceptively simple -- a clean hit of chili heat that disappears off the table. The bokbunja glazed duck delivers on both flavor and presentation, and the snow crab mac and cheese is lush and satisfying, though the crab itself gets a little lost. The crab scallion pancake is generous and well-seasoned; the parker house rolls lean on the chili crunch honey butter (rightfully so). The gochujang lamb chops have good bones but the gochujang pushes a bit hard. The scallop crudo felt like the one course still searching for balance a touch small for the price and slightly oversauced. The New Whiskey Sour with egg white foam branded with "Maht" is a thoughtful touch that delivers. Maht isn't without room to grow, but when it's on and it's on often it's one of the most exciting meals in the state. read more

My husband and l had reservations at Maht for dinner. It definitely didn't disappoint! The hostesses are right at the door to greet you as you walk in. Once you pass the front area the dining area towards the back is dimly lit but very comfy! The chairs at the table were very nice. That's not something I usually notice in most restaurants. Our server Corbin was very impressive with his knowledge of the menu! We started out with the Caesar salad Maht is so known for serving. With good reason! This salad is a unique experience and a must have if you decide to visit Maht. The shaved lettuce is under a mountain of fresh shaved Parmesan! So the dressing has the perfect tang and brightness you expect from Cesar dressing. If you aren't a heat lover ask for the chili crisp to be left off or on the side. I was fine with it but my husband said it was a little hot. The pancake was also very satisfying. It was mild in flavor. The contrasting textures of the soft crab meat with the slight fluffy yet crispy edges of the pancake were fantastic! I wish the scallion flavor wouldn't have been more present but still definitely worth a try. Next were our entrees. I chose the Bokbunja glazed duck. Ever had the chills from a food dish? I got chills because it was that perfect. Like 7 out of 5 stars! The rice roulade and sunchoke puree were exactly what the tender juicy duck breast needed to round out the dish. Perfect! My husband had the filet. It was cooked exactly to temp. No complaints at all about it. We would recommend both dishes fervently! The sides were passing but not our favorite. The mashed potatoes were smooth, creamy, and buttery. My husband felt like the crispy hay on top was a bit much. They were just mashed potatoes. Not great but good enough and enjoyable. The snowcrab mac & cheese was also just ok. I didn't dislike it but again just kind of there. After the perfection of the aforementioned dishes it's not really a big thing. We skipped dessert because we were so stuffed from everything else. I wish I could do half stars because Kevin really deserves more than 4 but I can't do 5 because of the sides in my opinion. I kept hearing about this restaurant and decided to try it for my birthday. We had to look pretty far out because they book up fast. I can say after eating here that it was definitely worth the wait. Upon being seated, I was given a cute birthday card. They also gave us a complementary champagne toast. Our waiter was so personable and suggested starter drinks for us. We then proceeded to order the crab pancake. That was absolutely delicious. As you can see by the picture, I dove into it so fast before I remembered I needed to take a picture. Someone came by with a table hook as they saw my purse sitting on the floor. That was an extra nice touch. The rest of the meal was absolutely flawless. MAHT is a wonderful edition to the OKC culinary scene. MAHT, is a Korean-American steakhouse in Oklahoma City by chef Kevin Lee. They opened sometime late fall 2025. We tried to make reservations in January and the first available opening was for March 24th. The venue was previously the Drake. MAHT has definitely improved the decor with its modern elegance. It has an energetic vibe. The menu has breath and depth that will accommodate a wide range of tastes. The service is good. It was a bit noisy at times, but overall not too bad. The prices are on the high end. We started with a Cab Sav an order of Parker house rolls and the ceasar salad. The rolls are good but I'm not a fan of fancy infused butter (chili crunch honey butter). Just give me plain butter. We shared a ceasar. The ceasar salad was epic! Loved it! Liked the shaved romaine, loved the crispy chili chickpea crunch and the generous topping of finely shredded parmsean. For our entrees were shared the 12 ounce filet. It was lovely. Cooked to order, wonderful flavor and almost melted in your mouth. We finished by each getting an affagato. We were introduced to Affagatos while living in Australia. They are hard to come by in OKC, but some restrauants while not having Affagatos on the menu will have the necessary ingredients. If you are not familiar with affagatos An affogato is a simple, decadent Italian dessert consisting of a scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream "drowned" in a hot shot of espresso. In Australia they add a shot of walnut liqueur. Hazlenut liqueur is an acceptable replacement for walnut liqueur as it is hard to find, espically in restrauants. MAHT has walnut liqueur. The combination creates a contrast of hot and cold, bitter and sweet. Love affagatos. We had a great evening! read more

I made reservations on January 7th for March 15th at 5:45P for a party 4. When arrived we were immediately seated, and ordered beverages. Our server was attentive, and gave us great service. We went ahead and ordered appetizers and got the shrimp cocktail, Parker rolls, and the seafood pancake. The seafood pancake was delicious and cooked perfectly, but the rolls were a bit overcooked and not as fluffy as I thought they'd be. The butter for the rolls was amazing though. Shrimp cocktail was just okay, nothing amazing and we wouldn't order these again, because the sauce was weird and barely had any flavor. For our entrees my hubby and my friends hubby ordered the lamb chops, I ordered the king salmon, and my friend got a steak. We all loved our meals everything was perfect and delicious. I would totally order the salmon again. For sides or shareable we got the salt and pepper green beans, crab Mac and cheese, and kimchi risotto. The green beans actually tasted the best, because the kimchi risotto had more of an oyster sauce flavor and didn't taste any kimchi (I'm Korean), and our crab Mac and cheese didn't look like it had any crab in it -- it was just way too cheesy, and hard to share and eat. Is the review even needed? We KNOW this place is a 10/10 with Chef Lee at the helm. Sweet Chili Glazed shrimp. Good, but not amazing. The shrimp were massive, though. French Onion Goat Cheese Mousse. That was fire. Chive oil in the middle to bring freshness to the dish. The Caesar...you already know. It's Insta-Famous for a reason. Soooo much cheese!!! Instead of croutons they use chili crisps. They have a little heat but they're mostly smokey, and you get an extra crunch in every bite. 12oz Filet with Black Garlic Butter - perfect sear, perfect seasoning, cooked to perfection. The filet being Prime was also a huge bonus. Scallop entree with kimchi risotto ... wow! That risotto was ridiculously good. Layers of flavor, cooked to perfection, and well balanced. Snow Crab Mac & Cheese was great. Rich, loaded with crab, and packed with flavor. Banana Pudding was scrumptious. Thick pudding, drizzled with gochujang caramel. For drinks we had The Sauce and The Walnut. Both fantastic and unique. My only critique is the trend of putting a garnish all the way down the side of the glass. It's pretty, but not practical. The drastic change from The Drake to MAHT is impressive. It's no longer an open space, it's intimate, well designed, and they maximized their real estate with seating. After trying MAHT, I like it a lot, but Birdie's still has the edge for me. We started with Parker Rolls and Beef Tartare. The Parker Rolls were delicious but bread has a relatively low ceiling. Either way, it's a good/cost-effective appetizer. The Beef Tartare was delicious as well, but straying a bit too far from the basics for my liking, venturing a lil bit into not quite beef tartare anymore territory, a bit distracting from the premise, the addiction, the nostalgia. Whereas Birdie's beef tartare is the opposite, it provides exactly what you crave at a flawless execution level. I still think MAHT's is great, like an 8. But Birdie's is a 10 for me. We had the Wagyu Flat Iron and the Prime Ribeye. Both were great, but exactly what you would expect. We tried four of the five sauces, which were all good. My fav was surprisingly the "Maht Steak Sauce" which I thought would be the "safe" choice but was actually the most well-rounded imo. I don't particularly like how the sauces are $5 each whereas at Birdie's you get 3 included with any steak. For sides we got the Kimchi Risotto, Honey Garlic Brussels, and Kimchi Collard Greens. They were all delish, as expected, but there is basically no noticeable kimchi flavor in the two "kimchi" sides, which isn't really an issue but just a worthwhile note. It may disappoint some. For dessert we got the Banana Pudding and Strawberry Creme Bingsu. We had already had the banana pudding at Birdie's and it was one of our favorite desserts. The Strawberry Creme Bingsu thing seemed very popular and my gf was enthusiastic about it, but I thought it was rather bland. The milk ice just tasted like ice and the strawberry sorbet and "macerated strawberries," while good, just tasted like something I would have eaten for $5 as a kid. Wasn't a huge fan, but it was visually stunning. All in all, I think it's a great change of pace for a Birdie's fan who may want a slightly diff spin, but overall I think I just prefer Birdie's in basically every way. read more

First time at MAHT. Was lucky enough to find a last minute reservation on open table otherwise this restaurant is booked through Jan 2026 and a lot of Feb 2026. First impression is this restaurant is pretty loud but they had a beautiful Christmas tree and a good amount of seating especially for larger parties. I was underwhelmed by the experience at this steakhouse due to the service and many of the dishes I tried. The good: wagyu flat iron 8oz, great cut and cooked to perfection! Scallion crab pancakes were amazing, so flavorful and fresh, would highly recommend. Brussel sprouts were so tasty, crispy and great combination of flavors. The bad: Caesar salad - I saw this all over tik tok, the dreamy Parmesan piled high on wimpy romaine lettuce, it was definitely overhyped and not as impressive as it looked especially in terms of flavor. The mashed potatoes were awful, my friend and I agreed they almost taste like boxed mashed potatoes? There seemed to be no salt, pepper or butter added either. The crab Mac & cheese, I had to dig to find the crab in this dish, absolutely not worth the price, it also needed additional seasoning of some sort. The worst part was the service. I have never experienced a server so rude at a restaurant of this caliber. She explained medium steak to me as if I had never heard of it before. Excited to try this new Korean steakhouse, but the meal didn't quite deliver. The space is modern and beautiful, and our server Mekhi was great--attentive and understanding when I sent my cocktail back. The Sip was much better than the Bonaeda, though we were still charged for the returned drink. Half-off Sunday oysters were the highlight--fresh, clean, and paired with an amazing mignonette. We should've ordered a dozen. The crab & scallion pancake was too oily, and my scallops with kimchi risotto were salty, overly creamy, lukewarm, and lacked kimchi flavor. Had a nice date night at MAHT, it was hard to get an 5-7pm reservation so we had to book this a month ahead. As a big fan of Birdies and Chef Lee I was super excited to try this place! My bf hasn't been to birdies but he's heard me talked about it so many times and was as excited as I was. I will have to say it was a lovely experience but it was definitely overhyped than how it is for a steak place. We tried several different items on the menu, and some of them tasted very similar to Birdies (for example, the Brussels sprouts appetizer). The lamb chops were quite rich and very tender.. personally, we would've preferred sticking with the steaks. They were good, but overall the flavors felt more familiar than surprising! read more

I'm obsessed with @maht_okc and its fusion of Korean, seafood, and American flavors. Me and my wife had dinner here on 11 Jul 2026. It was our second time and it was fabulous again. The atmosphere is really cool and it's a plus that it is Chef Kevin Lee's. We were seated promptly for our reservation and greeted within 20 seconds of being seated. We both had a couple drinks and they were mixed perfectly. We shared the french onion goat cheese mousse with homemade potato chips and we loved it. In fact we finished it off the next day for a late night snack. We shared the caesar salad. This is a big salad! It is so good with the shaved romaine and the little bit of heat it had. My wife had the filet and I had the denver steak. I had never had this cut before, but I will always get it from now on. It was so delicious, juicy and tender (pairs great with the Maht steak sauce). We shared the kimchi risotto and the brussels sprouts (both phenomenal!) When we had finished our meal we both agreed that this is in our top 10 of meals we have ever had! Stopped in for a date night dinner, and it was so lovely. We booked a reservation about 3 months in advance, and we were so excited. Upon entering, we were immediately sat. Our server was attentive and great at introducing the menu to us/providing delicious recommendations. We started with the parker rolls, and they looked so good and tasted even better. The honey butter with the chili crisp was truly immaculate, and the rolls were incredibly fluffy and warm with the perfect amount of crisp on the outside. We also ordered the caesar salad, and though very aesthetically pleasing to look at and take pictures of, in the end it was just a caesar salad to me. It was still a tasty one, but it sure was SPICY! For the entree we ordered the snow crab mac and cheese, the mashed potatoes with crispy potato hay, and the American wagyu ribeye with black garlic butter. The mac and cheese and luscious and oh so rich, but it was delicious. I wish it was saucier personally, but I cannot complain. The mashed potatoes were decadent, and I love the addition of the crispy potato hay strings on top. It created such an amazing textural contrast that I haven't had. The steak was incredibly tender, and it melted in my mouth like butter. My only note was that I found it to be ever so salty. The black garlic butter was great, but I would probably skip on it next time. For dessert, we ordered the strawberry and cream bingsoo, and it was beautiful! Another aesthetically pleasing dish, and it was not overly sweet and still satisfied my sweet tooth. It was definitely overpriced for bingsoo, and I probably would not get it again, but it was fun for the one time. Wow! The food, service and atmosphere were amazing! I have been patiently waiting to get here and it totally was worth the wait. The bar does look open during the week if you want to try sitting there. Corbin our waiter was awesome and I will return to try more of his favorites! Was super excited about going here for my wifes birthday since everyone hyping this place up. We arrived and and our table was nearly ready and we were seated quickly. Wait staff was very good and attentive. Drinks were ordered and arrived quickly. Food was ordered and arrived fairly quick, no rush though. This place is extremely loud and just talking to the person seated next to you difficult. So back to the food. Best thing that was ordered was the lamb chops, excellent, and I would say the most disapointingThe mac and cheese was a was the $28 crab mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was a little dry and devoid of crab, honestly it felt like a rip off. My pork chop was perfectly fried and was juicy, but it had no seasoning at all and was pretty bland. My son in law waygu steak was cooked well and seasoned decent , but nothing to write home about. All in all we had a good time and I maybe would suggest waiting a bit for the hype to calm down and let the restaurant settle in because right now it seems a bit overrated. I recently tried MAHT, the new Korean fusion restaurant from the same owners as Birdie's that took over the old The Drake location. Everything we had was really good. Service was great, food was great, and overall it was a really solid experience. I still think I personally enjoy Birdie's a little more, but I've only eaten here once so far, and it may just come down to what I ordered. My significant other is Korean and actually thought MAHT was even better than Birdie's, which says a lot. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. read more

Overall great first experience at Maht. Started off a little rocky. We had 8:00pm reservations, but were not sat until around 8:10pmish. Not a huge deal, but it was a week night and I didn't want to be out too late. Only other things that weren't great was they were out of the chocolate cake, which turned out fine because the banana pudding was amazing. And they said they were going to comp a drink because they didn't have enough mint to garnish it, but afterwards we looked at the check and saw they didn't comp it. Other than that, everything was great. Servers were very nice and knowledgeable. Started with the Parker rolls and Caesar salad. The butter with the rolls was spicy and sweet and the salad had a nice spicy crunch to it. Had the filet with black garlic butter. It was delish, but wish the butter had more of a strong garlic flavor. For sides we had the mashed potatoes and Brussels. Both were very good and have big portions. Booked MAHT for a Sunday evening dinner and came excited to see the newest iteration of Chef Lee's rising star. Interesting to see how they've redone the inside of the former Drake with a more dark and moody vibe. It boded poorly for the Thunder as our evening started off with a close loss to Phoenix that I caught on the bar TVs. Appetizers: Parker house rolls and the Caesar salad. The Caesar is visually stunning with the amount of cheese that is likely intended to balance out the spice which is substantial as noted by multiple reviewers. The spice didn't overwhelm my palate but I did find it to be unbalanced. The portion is very generous and eventually I had to break up bites with pieces of the Parker roll dipped into the honey butter for some sweet relief(ironically the butter is topped with the same chili as the salad so I had to dig underneath). The bites eventually became one note and I found that what I was missing was a robust Caesar flavor - it would benefit from more dressing or acid to achieve balance. The shellfish bisque with shrimp toast was next and superb. Excellent presentation with perfectly cut toast bites and the broth had great seafood flavor - savory bomb. Entrees: -Denver steak: my wife got this, it's a cut we haven't tried previously. Came out with a bold minimalistic presentation with just the steak on a decent sized plate. Was perfectly cooked and everything you could ask for in a steak with an unctuous black garlic butter on the side. -Gochujang glazed lamb chops: visually appealing colors but was not a fan of the taste and texture. The glaze was on the sweeter side and with the amount of fat on the chops it overall led to a mushy mouthfeel. The yogurt sauce had a smell similar to sour cream(which I hate) which was overwhelming. The sweet potato hay was a new experience for me and provided a much needed textural contrast, while the sweet potato purée was one note and would've benefited from additional flavor. Dessert: ordered the Strawberry Creme Bingsu with much anticipation after seeing it on social media, and it lived up to its billing. Great combination of unique textures without being too heavy. It was also a substantial portion of ice cream to where it could probably have been shared by 4 people. Atmosphere The atmosphere at Maht is breathtaking--modern, elegant, and purposefully energetic. The expansive marble bar stretches the length of the room, glowing from the underlighting and framed by backlit shelving that rises dramatically to the ceiling. This is easily one of the most attractive restaurants in Oklahoma. Service Service for the evening was excellent. Plates were swapped between courses, fresh utensils appeared without prompting, and water glasses never dipped below half. Dining Appetizers + Raw Bar Crab + Scallion Pancake - Jumbo Lump Crab, Uni Ranch, Soy Caramel, Cilantro Salad ($30) An absolutely stunning appetizer--decadent, divine, and simply delicious. Each bite opens with sweet, pristine crab, followed by faint briny notes of uni ranch and a lingering whisper of soy caramel. The scallion pancake acts as a luxurious, textural base, supporting the richness without overwhelming it. A fantastic opener and one of the evening's strongest dishes. Tuna Tataki + Garlic Ponzu - Black Pepper Crusted Bluefin Tuna, Chili Crunch, Avocado Mousse ($25) After such an impressive start, Kevin goes all gas, no brakes with a perfectly composed tataki. The clean, iron-rich notes of tuna meld seamlessly with the creamy avocado mousse, all resting atop a bright, garlicky, slightly fruity (but not sweet) ponzu. Balanced, refined, and confidently executed--another high-level offering. Scallop Crudo - Jalapeño Yuzu Kosho ($22) A delightful crudo that competes with the pancake and tataki, showcasing bright yuzu notes and soft, succulent, sweet scallop. Clean, refreshing, and beautifully composed--a standout addition to the raw bar. Caesar Salad - Shaved Romaine, Parmesan, Crispy Chickpea, Chili Crunch Caesar Dressing ($16) The first of two Instagram-viral hits, Caesar lives up to the hype. Tangy dressing pairs beautifully with classic Parmesan, while a delicate heat and chili flavor on the back end add a fun dynamic to a staple dish. Saucy and sensational, it easily earns its social media praise. Entrées American Wagyu Flat Iron - Galbi Peppercorn, Maht Steak Sauce ($30) A steakhouse must ultimately deliver on its namesake, and Kevin and Josh absolutely do. The flat iron was as tender and succulent as a prime filet, cooked to a perfect medium-rare edge-to-crust. The galbi peppercorn adds peppery sweetness and savoriness, while the Maht steak sauce reads as a refined, tangy, "Gucci" version of A1. An impressive steak and a masterclass in execution. Gochujang Glazed Lamb Chops ($56) Some pieces lean toward medium-well, but the combination of fermented gochujang and lamb is a natural marriage. The gochujang is pronounced, dominating up front with the lamb peeking through at the end--in like a tiger, out like a lamb. A touch more balance would make it nearly perfect. The silky, aerated sweet potato purée and crisp sweet potato hay provide exceptional contrast. Scallop + Kimchi Risotto - Kimchi Béarnaise, Gremolata, Bacon ($54) Single-handedly the best non-steak entrée I've had in a steakhouse and one of the best risottos in Oklahoma. The rice retains a perfect bite, while each decadent spoonful delivers fermented kimchi notes, rich middle tones of bacon, and a sweet, perfectly cooked scallop finish. Borderline transcendent. Desserts Strawberry + Crème Bingsu - Shaved Milk Ice, Strawberry Ice Cream, Condensed Milk, Strawberry Sorbet, Macerated Strawberries, Whipped Cream, Pistachio ($15) The contrast between airy shaved milk ice and silky ice cream is delightful, with sorbet amplifying the strawberry profile. Overall it was delicious but I was disappointed in the duck dish. The duck was well-cooked but the skin lacked crispiness and all fat hadn't been rendered. The oysters and sticky shrimp were excellent. The bimimbap was good but mixed at our table too soon. The rice didn't have a chance to get crispy in the stone bowl. Flavor was good though. You make a reservation for a date so far away that it seems absurd and you make another for the weekend after that one, just in case because Oklahoma weather. As the days pass, you see the social media posts and reviews and news stories and you get excited. Friends ask to take one of your reservations because they're excited too--you tell them you'll let them know. You arrive at MAHT and it's busy and cozy and everyone looks happy. The chef is there which is cool & you hope to let him know how excited you are for the evening. You get seated in Valentin's section and he talks you through the specials, the menu, the cocktails. You order the Korean fried chicken and a few specialty cocktails and you toast each other over how good the chicken is. So crispy with familiar Korean flavors but elevated by the presentation, the texture, the juicy tenderness. Of course you get the Caesar salad--it's got a life of its own, gone viral, probably has a book deal and a star on the walk of fame. It's big so you share it--chopped and crisp and fresh, a delicate snowfall of grated parm that pairs so well with the chili crisp and fish sauce and when you finish it you sit back and wish you'd have gotten your own and that there was more but you know there's not so you just sigh and sip your cocktail and talk about how good it was and text your friends who know where you are and are living vicariously through you. But that's just the start because next comes the Korean pot roast--they call it short ribs but damn it's some next level comfort food--served with banchan (sweet potatoes, rice, kimchi cucumbers, some kind of foam deliciousness with crab) for him and the perfectly cooked filet for you, topped with that black garlic butter and some fried green beans on the side and all of a sudden you have a new favorite steakhouse in OKC. And then Valentin tells you about the banana pudding with the gochujang caramel sauce so of course you get it and when the couple walks by your table ask if it was as good as it looks, you can honestly tell them that it's even better than it looks. And on the way home, after you get the opportunity to get a selfie with Chef Kevin Lee and tell him how great the meal was and thank him for such amazing food, you call your friends and let them know that they can't have your backup reservation because you're totally going back next week. read more

The Caesar salad was phenomenal and lived up to the hype! we loved the little kick of spice. the burger is hands down the best burger in OKC. the flavors are incredible! the MAHT sauce is unmatched and the patty is cooked so well. the fries with the gochujang ketchup wereso wonderful. the only downside of our visit this time was the service. we waited for service several times and could not grab the attention of several bartenders on multiple occasions. overall, we love Maht and will continue to come back!! read more

Exceptional new steakhouse concept from Chef Kevin Lee. The American Wagyu Flat Iron 8oz ($30) was excellent. Also got their shellfish bisque and shrimp toast plus the Parker house rolls, both of which were great. Top notch service from Mason. Very cool and stylish interior atmosphere as well. Ran into the Champ aka Chet Holmgren and was going to tell him my ketchup story at Birdies (they have a bottle of it there for him even though it's against the freshly made condiment rule and I was able to use it one time) and grab a selfie but he was in a rush. Apparently he's here everyday, and a big supporter of Kevin Lee. Most highly recommended this place is truly bomb! read more

The food was disappointing for my group of seven and me. We were honestly shocked by how many dishes lacked flavor. On the positive side, every plate was beautifully presented, and the restaurant itself is stunning. The service was also great. To start, we shared the Caesar salads, beef tartare, rolls, and the French onion goat cheese mousse. The Caesar salads and the butter for the rolls were good, though the rolls themselves were nothing special. The beef tartare was chewy and flavorless, and while the goat cheese mousse was fine, it's not something I'd recommend as a must-try. Three people at our table ordered the burger, and everyone agreed it was just okay--you can easily find a better burger for less elsewhere in OKC. The ketchup was good, but the fries were mediocre. My friend and I shared the Denver steak with kimchi béarnaise and black garlic butter, the kimchi risotto, and the marinated cod with banchans. The steak arrived medium rare as ordered, but it was tough and difficult to chew. The kimchi béarnaise had no detectable kimchi flavor, and while the black garlic butter was slightly better, it still fell flat. The cod was perfectly cooked, but again lacked seasoning. The steamed egg and fish banchan were the only components I enjoyed. The cucumber kimchi was sweet with no spice, and the kimchi risotto had no flavor at all. One friend ordered the bibimbap and said it tasted good, aside from biting into two whole peppercorns. The bingsu was a highlight! Not too sweet, with a perfectly soft ice texture. Perfect end to a meal. It did take a while to come out though. We told our waiter early on that we wanted to order it. I'm not sure what the turn around time is to make the dish. Overall, dinner was about $80-$100 per person, and the food simply wasn't worth the price (especially in this economy). A friend invited my boyfriend and I to their soft opening. It was absolutely amazing! We started with the seafood tower which had a wonderful array of options. I chose the scallop dish and it was perfection. The scallops were cooked to my preference as I like them super crispy. We ended the meal with the key lime pie dish and I have no complaints whatsoever. All of us enjoyed everything we ordered. The restaurant is beautiful and peaceful. The service was excellent and the chef came around to each table which I found really great and impressive. He even agreed to a photo with us. I can't wait to go back! read more
