Top-notch steakhouse with great sides (like the scalloped potatoes), the beef tamales are amazing, awesome bread and butter, wide variety of wines and beverages, amazing desserts like the sorbet, stylish red-tinted interior that is very artistic and plenty of tables, and excellent service by Capri. Very highly recommended!

My brother was looking for some place special for his birthday so we decided to take him to Red Prime and as usual I was impressed. This was my 4th time and I've not been disappointed once. Our server, Andrew, did a wonderful job guiding us through the menu and off-menu specials. He answered every question and was most helpful making cocktail suggestions. He was also very patient with us as we were the last ones there at the end of the night. I had the prix fixe with beef tenderloin tamales, 14 oz ribeye, creamed corn and chocolate dessert. He had the bone-in cowboy ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes and asparagus and his date had a ribeye as well. We had various crusts and sauce and everyone enjoyed their meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Red PrimeSteak is my go to steakhouse in OKC. I do enjoy some of the other places such as Mahogany but this is my personal preference because of ambiance and service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Red PrimeSteak is a beautiful, inviting restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We went for my friend's birthday, she reserved the party room with an intended reservation time of 8pm. The party before us ran super behind and we weren't sat until 9:30pm, the restaurant closes at 10. Our apps were delicious. The crab cakes and caviar dip were two of my favorites! I highly recommend grabbing drinks and appetizers from here. I wasn't the biggest fan of my main entree, the Lobster Crusted Sea Bass, a solid 4/10. The taste of butter was overwhelming. Overall fun experience, just a few run-ins. Definitely going back for apps!

We went to Red PrimeSteak last night to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a special experience! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a private room upstairs, and when I sat down there was a "Happy Birthday" paper signed by all the staff--such a thoughtful touch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For starters, we tried the beef tenderloin (gluten free), and when it came out, the manager made sure to let me know it was the celiac order, which I really appreciated. The tamale was a little tricky at first, but once our server explained how to open it, it was easy--and totally worth it. I shared bites with my husband and family, and everyone agreed it was absolutely delicious. For my main dish, I went with the 18 oz bone-in Ribeye, paired with smoked bacon creamed corn and mushroom risotto ( both gluten free) with bone marrow butter. Both sides were rich, flavorful, and amazing. Since it was my birthday, they surprised me with a complimentary gluten-free dessert--a crème brûlée for two, topped with fresh berries. It was heavenly, and I shared it around the table (with lots of happy spoons joining in). Our server was fantastic--he made sure every order was perfect, every bill was correct, and even took a family photo for us at the end. He suggested the staircase for the picture, and he was right--it was the best spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is dimly lit with a modern vibe and lots of red lighting, which really adds to the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everyone in my family loved the food and the experience, and we all agreed we'd definitely come back. My husband and I especially left saying, "That was so good!" A wonderful spot for a celebration.

Came for happy hour! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a beautiful, modern restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of people here celebrating birthdays.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We enjoyed the bar seating. It was nice and quite perfect for a date or meeting up with a friend.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the red mojito! One of the best mojitos I've ever had, the black cherry infused rum was chef's kiss! Also had the happy hour burger, was shocked with all the toppings. It was hearty and a solid deal for $12 only thing is it tasted a little burnt around the edges. The fries were also a little overcooked but liked the Parmesan garlic seasoning.

Steak pepper crusted, Chile Mac, loaded mashed potatoes, Burgundy mushroom sauce.

In my opinion it was a TINY bit overrated. The mashed potatoes were amazing but the steak was good but definitely didn't meet the expectations I had set for it honestly. My waitress did forget my salad but honestly there was a wine discussion happening and i understand how it could've been forgotten..

Still dreaming about this delicious dinner! The prix fixe menu was just what I needed to taste all the things & I enjoyed every. single. one. My steak was cooked perfectly and the sorbet I chose for dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm obsessed with the red vibes of the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was amazing and gave us some great recommendations. Definitely saving this place as a top steakhouse to revisit!

The prix fixe menu is fantastic!! It has gotten more expensive over the years (thanks inflation) but is still a great deal. I love that you can substitute sides that are on the main menu without extra cost as well!! Favorites: RP's tomatoes Tamales Lobster tail Next time I would skip the pecan ball ice cream- it was literally a pint of ice cream and I felt bad we couldn't finish it! Overall, this is my favorite steakhouse for the value, the excellent service, and the delicious taste!

We went for a late valentines dinner and ordered off of the prix fixe menu. It was a really good deal! We started off with some drinks. The chop salad was delicious, a very unique salad and I loved the flavors. The filet mignon was amazing and the potato gratin paired well with it. We also got these buttery rolls which were so soft. Finally we got the spoon cake and it was warm and chocolatey and so good! Service was great and the vibes were everything. Love the red lighting inside, super unique. Will definitely be back!

Red has been my KRYPTONITE lately. Last week, it was Red Door Grille and now Red PrimeSteak. Had a blast for my birthday at this steakhouse. Walked in, got seated, immediately the waitress complimented me on my RED bow tie, which I personally picked out to wear for this special occasion. Deja vu all over again and my heart sank the second time. At this rate, I might have a premature heart attack soon. My mind told me again, "Oh no, this is going to be another 5 stars. Nothing else matters, not the food, not the service, and definitely not the ambiance." Or is it? We all got the Basil Hayden Old Fashioned and we all liked it. Everything was going great until the jumbo shrimp cocktail came out. Decent size but ONLY 5 shrimps. REALLY? Luckily, the sides (Brussels sprouts and asparagus) were fairly shareable as they were of decent size. I had the wagyu filet 8 oz. This was one of the best piece of steak I've had. The steak was cooked perfectly, medium rare. The steak was soft and melted in your mouth with each bite. LOVED IT. We got a free dessert for my birthday so I picked the Baked Alaska. The candle/light on the dessert was awesome, much better than the dessert itself. Sometimes during our dining, another server from a different section came over and complimented on my bow tie. It was this compliment that signed, sealed, and delivered for me. Instant 5 stars and I didn't care about the food or price by that time.

Went for my birthday. Delicious food and excellent service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chairs were a tad uncomfortable but otherwise everything was great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parmesan salad, filet, some amazing green chili Mac n cheese, and chocolate cake! They even brought me a complimentary birthday mocktail!

Russian mafia style! Black & red everywhere. Black walls, lots of RED LIGHT it's like total Russian party atmosphere haha. (Heavy Russian accent) Hubby likes to have birthday party here. Drink very expensive bourbon drink $60 a pour. When you love yourself, it's a life long romance. Happy birthday party here is good one but very expensive. They do not do seafood well here, they murder it KGB style. Do not recommend seafood. Recommend the dry aged ribeye tomahawk, tenderloin tamales, carpaccio, foie gras, meat make you strong like Russian. The ladies love Creme brûlée for two très magnifique, OuiOui. Sorbet & Ice cream very good make sexy birthday ending :)' Recommend.

If you want a night out at a high-end steakhouse where the food matches the prices, then this is the place for you!! The service is top notch, the portions are huge, and you can taste the quality of ingredients! Morgan waited on me, and she couldn't have been better. So nice, knew the menu, and if I had questions she didn't know the answer to, she found out for me!! Appetizer: crab cakes So delicious - full of crab and light on filler. Everything a crab cake should be. And the mustard sauce served with them is so tangy and compliments perfectly. My only critique is it needs more, so I asked for extra haha Entree: bone-in ribeye Perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and most of all, flavorful. Then, add the blue cheese crust and out comes perfection. The loaded mashed potatoes came out super hot and were a great compliment as they were creamy and so delicious. No complaints here. Dessert: chocolate spoon cake with homemade caramel. Such a great end to a phenomenal dinner. Rich, sweet, and fabulous. Be sure to give this place a try for a special occasion or if you just want to treat yourself, like I did ‍

Ordered a medium rare steak and it was juicy and tender. It was also a large steak. Meal came with a house salad, baked potato, bread and a roll. I was also going to order Lamb Fries as an appetizer, but the waitress was able to let me try one piece on the house - great service! It would have been way too much food for one person. I washed it all down with their refreshing Double Deuce Beer. Everything was flavorful and satisfying - the steak hit the spot for me. Notes: It was a quick drive from downtown. Right when I walked in I was welcomed by hostesses and seated immediately. Everyone was warm and friendly. Def felt historic and legendary inside with their table booths, photos, and decor. Both were served in short order & although we wouldn't say they were the best we've ever had they were terrific nonetheless. Our server did a decent job & the prices were quite fair ( 2 Entrees, 3 Cocktails & a Dessert for $ 150.69 ) Next time we find ourselves in Oklahoma city we will certainly stop back in for another great meal, possibly even for breakfast since they open at 8am.

Redrock Canyon Grill - Lake Hefner…read more First visit--and I can confidently say this place just earned a spot in our regular date night rotation. We walked in to a packed house, which is always a good sign, but were seated immediately. From there, the experience never missed a beat. Beverly took care of us and was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do, and it shows. We started with margaritas, and when Beverly said they were "perfect," she wasn't overselling it. Smooth, well-balanced, and served ice cold. We're both olive fans, so of course we asked for extras--and they delivered without hesitation. Going in, we made a deal: appetizers or dessert--not both. After hearing about the pineapple upside-down cake with vanilla ice cream, that decision was made pretty quickly. For the main course, Beverly walked us through the menu and the weekly specials: * Rainbow trout with roasted peppers and cucumber salad * 14 oz peppercorn crusted steak with mashed potatoes, broccoli & parmesan I know my wife--steak was the obvious choice for her. I went with the trout. Both dishes were excellent. The trout was cooked perfectly with a light, flavorful sauce that didn't overpower the fish, and the vegetables were fresh and well-prepared. The steak was cooked just right, full of flavor, and paired perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli finished with parmesan. What really elevated the night was the hospitality. Kirsten, the manager, stopped by to check on us and took the time to have a genuine conversation. She shared details about patio seating and upcoming live music nights, which we're already planning to come back for. Then came a surprise--she graciously covered our dessert. A classy move that didn't go unnoticed. And that pineapple upside-down cake? Warm, soft, topped with melting vanilla ice cream... absolutely worth skipping the appetizers for. The Bottom Line: Great food, exceptional service, and a relaxed but polished atmosphere right on Lake Hefner. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend for a date night or a nice evening out.
