We regularly get takeout from here and occasionally dine in. My kid and I love the pad see ew noodle dish and my wife gets either pad Thai, pineapple fried rice or the green curry with rice, along with a Thai iced tea. The takeout has good service and can be done through Yelp, and they also do delivery up until 5 pm. Also good service in the restaurant itself in a small shopping center on Clayton Road and they usually have some sort of sports on TV. Highly recommend! read more

My boyfriend and I came in for dinner before going to a concert on a Wednesday night. Right off the bat, the host/server was very unwelcoming and directed us to our table. We are both servers ourselves in the industry and notice quality of service. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and continued to be polite, but this was one of the coldest customer service experiences I've had. We ordered our food and pretty much ate as quickly as we could since we didn't feel welcomed there. This was one of the very few times I've left less than a 20% tip solely because we both felt like we were a burden. We found this little gem and have come back several times! The seafood pad thai is soooo yummy! It is a very small place but the food and service more then make up for it! We had to come back once because it was packed! So our fave is the thai ice tea, fried calamari,bbq anything here is good, pad thai and the fried rice. Probably one of the best Thai places I've been to. Tucked away in the corner of a strip mall with a very unassuming exterior, this small restaurant is very easy to miss. If it helps other Yelpers, it's in the strip mall right next to a Jack in the Box. The interior is very cute and clean. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable (maybe $1 to $2 more expensive than your typical Thai place), but the portion sizes are huge, and the presentation of food is really nice! I like that the pumpkin curry came in the pumpkin shell. The pineapple fried rice practically overflows its half of a pineapple shell. I was a huge fan of their grilled eggplant with pork and shrimp! So delicious, and shockingly, the eggplant wasn't oily (unlike most restaurant eggplant dishes)! I've never seen this at any other Thai restaurant I've been to. The pumpkin curry was sadly a little watery -- otherwise, I probably would have bumped this review up to 5 stars. read more

The spicy red sauce on the side is soooo good. I ordered the shrimp pumpkin curry. I'd recommend this dish, but not sure if I'd recommend it with another protein. While I'm not a big fan of Thai food, this place would be an exception because they have an extensive selection of authentic dishes and uniquely prepared appetizers. I always get the rice plates and their spicy chicken wing appetizer (served with crispy basil mmmmm). This place gets only 4 stars from me though because sometimes I have to wait so long for my appetizer, that they end up coming out during mid-meal. Had take-out. Found a bunch of sauce spilled when packed. Pad thai is very oily and yellow. Basil thai fried rice.. Was burnt and they didnt cook the basil into the Rice they just sprinkled it on top and then it became wilted. No basil taste. Panang curry was watered down. After i came home my dad told me about his co worker who used to work there. She quit because the boss there takes all the tip since they were struggling to make a profit. Never again. read more

I had wanted to try this place since we had recently moved into the area, and I prefer to support local places. I am a big fan of Thai food, so I couldn't wait to try it. The place is a bit small inside, but that isn't a bad thing - it adds a bit of coziness and local feeling, which I actually liked. Service was very good, even though they started to get real busy. Locals here obviously love the place and I can see why. We had grilled eggplant and the pumpkin curry. The eggplant was amazing. Perfectly grilled. The pumpkin curry rivals any restaurant I have been to in S.F. Large chunks of pumpkin with wonderful red curry. It was probably the best I've had. Food was excellent, and the Thai coffee was perfect. Food and service were top notch. Service style is "family style" and is enough to feed at least four people. They should limit the food to the number of people in your party. We had leftovers for two days! My only complaint is that they give you too much food. Also, when telling the server we wanted to take the rest home, we had to box it up ourselves, risking spilling the food on ourselves - not good. If they change the quantity of food and take-home for left-overs, this would be a 5 star rating. Next time, we'll just order one dish to avoid take-home. read more

Nine dishes had we...in order of scrumptiouness...drunken noodles w chicken (so bomb!), pad sewee beef, cashew chicken, ginger tofu, bbq chicken, tofu mixed veges. Had pork and beef salads as starters...amazing. Beef with the mint was tasty bits!! Ground pork so flavorful. I would easily come in for lunch and grab that salad!!Each dish was served hot with perfect spicing. Quick service for a large family filled 80% capacity. Servers were very nice as always. They didnt even diss the new Koon Thai across the street. Just said they are also a nice Thai family. Fab babies, fab! This has always been our go to spot. read more

This place is outstanding! I've done pick-up orders and eaten in. I was born and raised in San Francisco and this place is as flavorful as any of the "top" places in SF. It is also quite reasonably priced. Pick-up orders are ready quickly and the dine in service was prompt as well. I have not had a bad or even bland dish yet. Everything has been excellent. This is my favorite Thai food place in the Bay Area thus far. I absolutely love it. I usually get the pineapple fried rice and a curry of some kind. Since I'm vegetarian everything usually contains vegetables or tofu. The service here is amazing though. They bring your food out to you promptly and to your perfection. I always ask for extra spicy and they have yet to disappoint me. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good Thai food place. I ate here with three others and had quite a pleasant evening. The decor is quite lovely with some nice touches. I always love to find cloth napkins on the table as I find it adds such an elegant touch. We were seated promptly and our drink order (waters) were quickly brought to our table. The waitress was lovely and quite helpful when we asked questions. Our appetizers was yummy fried tofu that was done to perfection and served nice and hot. A tasty sauce accompanied the fried tofu that was served on a bed of greens. I was the lone vegetarian at the table so had my tasty tofu Pad Thai all to myself. More for me! The child with us had given up meat for Lent so she just had Shrimp Pad Thai (ok, I don't understand that one.) She seemed to really enjoy it and the number of shrimp that was in the dish. The couple shared a scallop Pad Thai and some chicken dish. The servings were quite ample and we all took some home to chow on another day. Loved the decor in the unisex bathroom. Was quite nicely done in my book. Have to laugh as the child with us complained about how low the toilet was and she is a tiny thing! The noise level was quite pleasant and we could actually hold a decent conversation without having to shout at each other.
