A must try Thai place! The staff is so good and the flavor is full of spices. The chili oil is also very good. Parking lot is hard because it's shared. Get the curries

Was having a crazy craving for drunken noodles last night, so I searched on yelp for an establishment with above a 4.5 rating that served drunken noodles. I placed my order using instacart but picked it up so I wouldn't have to pay the additional $20 delivery price. The location is small and unassuming. The restaurant was packed on a Sunday evening which tells me they are consistent with the food they serve. The gentleman at the counter was super helpful and told me to just call it in next time and save on the insta fees. Service gets a 4.8/5. We brought our food home instead of eating in. I got non-spicy drunken noodles with chicken, my other half got drunken noodles level 3 spicy. Mine was packed full of flavor and I really enjoyed how much basil was in the dish. My only negative reaction was that the noodles seemed overcooked, but we did also travel back home with the hot container and that could have kept cooking. The noodles were a 4.7/5. The spicy green beans were cooked al dente, the bell peppers and cabbage in it really put it o er the top with textures, it was also EXTRA spicy, and would have been amazing with steamed rice, and now that I know this I will always order rice with it. Vegetables get a 4/5. The crispy rolls take the cake as the best item we tried. The rolls are delightfully crispy, and the filling is savory and filling. I rate these a 5/5. Overall, I rate this restaurant a 4.6/5.

We had such a great experience at this Thai restaurant! From the moment we sat down, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced flavorful, not overly sweet, and cooked just right. The boat noodles were rich and comforting with deep, savory broth. The Tom Kha Gai had that perfect creamy coconut flavor with just the right amount of tang and spice. The Lad Na was hearty and satisfying, and the Thai sausages were packed with flavor. To top it all off, the mango sticky rice was the perfect dessert fresh, sweet mango with warm, perfectly textured sticky rice.

My family and I always go for Thai food. Our first time to try this resto. Service was good, staff who served us was a very pleasant guy. The area was small yet clean. For dine in, we ordered (rating on 0-10 scale): Fish Cake: 10/10 Larb Salad with ground meat: 5/10 ground meat was not of good quality and wasn't tender to eat. Flavor of the salad wasn't as great as other lamb salads I've tasted Crispy Trout: 9/10 Rad Na: 8/10 loved how they used the good sauce with actual small beans (Thai restos who actually use this are rare) for the sauce in this dish. Noodles were a bit overcooked. All in all, it's still good. For take out, we ordered soup: Tom Yum: 8/10 We plan to go back if we're in the area.

The food was so delicious i'm still thinking about it and so lucky I live close-by because I already know i'm going to be a regular lol But the pad se ew was so delicious not too sweet but I wish it was spicy... it was perfect tbh. The chicken wings were a HIT and I would order them every-time because it's that good, so saucy and crunchy how I like it and it was just an overall 10/10 experience. The restaurant is a lil ma & pa style so I decided to do takeout but I will definitely dine in one of these days! Kap chai lai lai BEST THAT RESTAURANT IN CONCORD HANDS DOWN

Delicious dinner at Homey Thai Bistro. Great, friendly service; clean fresh decor. We ordered roti yellow curry as an appetizer, Tom Yum Fried Rice and pumpkin curry! It was all delicious, but the Tom Yum was our favorite! A delicious mix of textures and flavors with just the right amount of spice!!!

Best homey Thai food in the area! When you see police eating there you know it's not only good but a good price too. And this place was just that. Service was very friendly.

Ambiance: simple, clean mom and pop style restaurant. Service was warm and attentive. Prices were good. Dishes: there are many choices to try... Coconut Prawns- A++ Pad thai-A Eggplant & chicken- B Yellow curry- C TumTom soup- (beautiful presentation) first time, new dish for me. We enjoyed our dinner. Some dishes were great, some needed much more seasoning. Example I ordered two dishes flagged as 'spicy'... very much.. Not spicy. Not bad, just very mild.

I've had Homey Thai multiple times, and while I don't claim to be an expert, I've visited Thailand three times and experienced its incredible food firsthand. Finding truly authentic Thai food in the area has often been disappointing--most places do some dishes well but fall short overall. Homey Thai, however, is the exception. It's absolutely outstanding! Every time I visit and try a new dish, it feels as close to authentic Thai flavors as I've had outside of Thailand. From Thai fried rice to red & green curry, Pad Kee Mao, Pad See Ew, and Pad Thai, every dish is incredibly well-balanced in flavor and spice. **My Ratings:** **Thai Fried Rice:** 8/10 **Red & Green Curry:** 8.2/10 **Pad Kee Mao:** 8.3/10 **Pad Thai:** 7.9/10 **Pad See Ew:** 8.1/10 The service is always top-notch. If I ask for extra spices on the side, they go above and beyond. This is officially my go-to Thai spot in the Bay Area!

If you dined in on weekdays, you'd receive a complimentary Thai iced tea per guest and 10% off the total bill. That was nice! Had we known earlier, we definitely would've come more often--but unfortunately, we couldn't find any information about it online and only learned about it by visiting in person. And we only found out about it toward the end of the month. Hopefully, if they consider this type of promotion again, they'll advertise it more broadly. As for the food, we ordered some of our usual favorites, like their curry dishes. But this time, we also wanted to be adventurous and try something new/different, so we went with the following: Basil Duck Stir-Fry: This dish features "wok-fried crispy duck" with carrots, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, baby corn, and basil leaves. It was savory and delicious. However, I wouldn't describe the duck as "crispy," especially with the sauce softening it. That said, the flavor was still excellent, and we really enjoyed it. Pad See Ew: A classic Thai dish made with wide rice noodles stir-fried with egg, broccoli, and carrots, flavored with a dark sweet soy sauce. The wise noodles were nicely cooked and soaked up all that rich, sweet flavor. Definitely a favorite. One note of caution: when it comes to spice level, "medium" here means spicy! We ordered medium for all our dishes and were sweating by the end of the meal! Next time, we'll definitely go with mild. Service was excellent, and the restaurant was very nice and super well air-conditioned on the inside.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and full of character. The décor blends modern style with traditional Thai touches, creating a comfortable yet vibrant dining space. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish we tried was packed with bold, authentic flavors and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The balance of sweet, spicy, sour, and savory was spot on. The Pad Thai was one of the best I've ever had--perfectly cooked noodles with just the right amount of tang and richness. The Tom Yum soup was incredibly flavorful, with a deep, aromatic broth that had the perfect kick of spice. We also ordered a curry dish that was rich, creamy, and full of depth--easily a standout. What really made the experience even better was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They took the time to explain dishes and offer recommendations, which made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. The presentation of the food was also impressive--each dish looked as good as it tasted. It's clear that a lot of care and passion goes into everything they serve. Overall, Saneh Bangkok is a must-visit if you're looking for authentic Thai food in a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai food near Pleasant Hill.

I knew this before ordering so I just made some at home, but I find that very odd. Who is going to eat curry just as is? It's like serving a bowl of alfredo and charging extra for the fettucine. Rice costs barely anything; they should consider including it and maybe adding a dollar or something to the entree.
