Bar seating from the main entrance.

I really wanted to like this place more because the interior is absolutely beautifull. It's one of the nicest designed Thai restaurants I've been to in the WC area. The seating is very comfortable, the space feels upscale, and if you get one of the Locust west-facing windows around sunset, it's a pretty nice atmosphere. The host made a great first impression with a warm welcome and got us seated right away. After that, though, the service kind of faded away. Our server rarely checked on us, and when we were ready to pay, we waited for quite a while before finally getting up and finding him ourselves to ask for the bill. As for the food... it was just very average. The Tom Kha soup had a strange chlorine-like aftertaste that was hard to ignore. The lamb shank looked good but was a bit dry, and the garlic pepper chicken was just... there. Nothing bad, nothing memorable either. Overall, it feels more like a stylish cocktail lounge that happens to serve Thai food than a destination restaurant for the food itself. Great place to sit, have a drink, and enjoy the ambiance, but if you're looking for outstanding Thai cuisine, this one didn't really impress me.

Sum Tom Gai Yaang. Organic roasted half chicken cooked with garlic and lemongrass. Sides included sticky rice and som tum (papaya salad).

Great location and ambiance in Walnut Creek. Just had Father's Day lunch wi ty my family. Overall - very good dishes and plenty of flavor. The chicken plate was VERY good, incredible taste and cooked perfectly The pad thai, solid choice and my Mrs. was very happy. I didn't get a pic of my son's yellow curry with chicken, as he dove into it before I could take a snapshot . He said it was one of the best curried he's had Only two little minor points on this visit. Being a popular spot, service ran a bit slow would be the biggest critic, along with being out of Singha Beer. The crispy egg rolls were tasty, but literally the size of my pinky and I am used to a more substantial egg roll like my mom makes. But the taste was solid, not sure of the portion to price ratio on this appetizer.

I have yet to dine in because they are normally pretty busy, but I always place a to go order. The garlic wings are my absolute favorite! Super flavorful, crispy, a nice size, and all flats! The shrimp spring rolls are really fresh and complement the flavors of the chicken.

First impressions go a long way. We came 5 minutes early for our reservation, and we were told that we couldn't be seated until our party was complete. I wasn't going to argue with the restaurant's policy despite it being almost empty. I was mostly dismayed and taken aback how curt the young hostess with the eyebrow piercing was towards us. It's not the message, but how it's delivered! Thankfully our waitress Pam was a breath of fresh air. She checked on our party regularly. She was patient as our large party tried to figure out our orders. She ensured all our food and drinks arrived as ordered. Our meals were tasty, but portions were on the smaller size. We enjoyed the roti with 3 different curry sauce. Volcanic beef was delicious. I enjoyed the Pad Thai so much that I ordered an extra to go. We all loved the mango lover dessert. You can skip the tom yum paella since the portion was extremely small.

How have I not reviewed this place yet?? it's my favorite when I'm looking for thai with a fun vibe. The patio is my favorite. The staff are always so friendly and engaging. They did. full performance for my birthday! It was fantastic. Food is always spot on, cocktails are great, what more could you ask for! 4.5

We had a great experience here! The hostess got us seated quickly and was great at sharing the specials. I got the slushy drink with a run floater and it was perfect on a hot summer day. We got the chicken skewers and shrimp spring rolls as appetizers and they were both great. The garlic pepper chicken was good along with the chicken drunken noodles. My brother got the lamb and said it was delicious as well as the tuna tartar. I'm sure we will be back!

This place was really cute. I wanted to love it but the service fell short. I made reservations for 3 at 5p and I was seated at that time. The restaurant was fairly empty, maybe at most, 3 other parties. One of my girls showed up shortly after I was seated, we both were able to order drinks--then our last guest showed up maybe 10mins past. No one ever came back to us until about 5:30ish and after we had to flag someone down and ask if we could order more. The food was decent, nothing spectacular. It was cute though. One of the servers made strange jokes/comments I ordered Garlic wings - delicious Lychee martini- also yummy but the garnish was comical (one measly flower petal) Crab fried rice - it was ok, a lot of crab, kinda wet Braised ribs- they were tender but not super flavorful and according to the server "smells like hot Cheetos". I didn't notice the scent

Torsap Thai absolutely nailed it. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was everything, trendy and upscale, but still somehow super welcoming and relaxed. It didn't feel stuffy at all, just effortlessly cool. The food? Incredible. The pumpkin curry was hands down a standout! So rich, flavorful, and comforting without being too heavy. I'm still thinking about it. The drinks were also a highlight beautifully crafted and presented, almost too pretty to drink (but definitely worth it). We came with a party of 12, which can be tricky, but they handled it seamlessly. The staff was attentive, accommodating, and made sure everyone felt taken care of. We even had vegans in our group, and they were just as thoughtful and flexible with those options. Overall, such a great experience! perfect for a group night out or even a date night if you want something a little elevated but still chill. Will absolutely be back.

The food was excellent. I love Thai food and I've been to quite a few (Toomies, Chai Thai, farmhouse) which all have quality dishes. The service here is better and the water is better, even if it's tap, this tap is better than the other Thai places I've been to. The entrees I ordered tonight were really tasty. Got the duck with curry sauce 10/10 duck was well seasoned and not over, sauce was spectacular. Pumpkin curry 10/10 very good. Drunken noodles 10/10 probably one of the best drunken noodles I've had.

8 days of us just had the most fantastic meal here! We ordered family style and so we all got to try everything. The fresh rolls came out looking beautiful and they were so delicious! The peanut sauce that goes with them is so yummy! We all loved the potstickers that came with a tangy sauce. Look at those huge prawns that were on the Pad Thai. The yellow chicken curry is loaded with white meat chicken. Portions are generous and food is so fresh. Wait staff is excellent. Really nice happy hour menu also.

This place is awesome. It was our first time and we had called for reservations. We ended up arriving early but they still seated us right away. The service was very friendly and attentive. The decor is modern and halfway through our dinner the music turned up and it had more of a club vibe with flashing lights etc. While it doesn't seem geared towards kids necessarily, our waitress was very fun and nice with my daughter so the can do it all. There was eventually a server in shorts and sunglasses (at night) who kneels at the tables to present your drinks to you. It was very entertaining. The food was awesome. My mother-in-law says it's the best Tuna Tower she's ever had. The crispy rice salad was fantastic and my Khao Soi was incredible. My father in law asked for his curry extra spicy and they did exactly that, so make sure you can hang if you ask for it. We will definitely be back. One of our new favorites in the area and nice to be right downtown.

Ka Prow Kai from the prix fixe lunch menu ($24) served along with a tofu spring roll and macaron.

Excellent Thai food in downtown Walnut Creek - stopped by for lunch today with my better half. We sat at a window table as it was bright, and ordered Thai iced coffee and tea. I ordered a Ka Prow Kai from the prix fixe lunch menu along with a tofu spring roll, she ordered a Tom Kha Soup with Chicken Pad See You, and we decided to share dessert, which was Mango Sticky Rice, of course! My favorite was the fresh tofu spring roll, especially when dipped in the creamy peanut sauce it was served with. I also enjoyed the macaron they served with my dish. My wife loved her tom kha soup and pad see you, and we both enjoyed the mango sticky rice. Nice décor, good service, and convenient street parking across the street ($2 per hour) completed the lovely TTK experience. Happy to return.

The ambiance is calm and pleasant. Food and service were excellent. They were very attentive and friendly. We had about 4 waiters serving our group. But you know me, food is what it is all about in my reviews! Lol! Cajun calamari 5/5 not too spicy at least I didn't notice but it was excellent and very crunchy. With a honey mustard style sauce which complimented the calamari. Chicken satay 5/5 excellent and smooth with yummy peanut sauce and tiny cup of cucumber salad. Garlic wings 4/5 ( some family members liked this the best). Garlicky and flavorful but for me, these were dry type of fried wings and I like mine with a glaze or sauce. Samosa- 4/5 a kind of sweet mashed potato type of filling. Fresh spring rolls 4/5 ok I am used to big kind where you can taste shrimp. These were small, and cut up. Fried veg rolls 4/5 kind of like small lumpia- ok Eggplant with chicken and basil 5/5 Pumpkin curry with chicken 5/5 one of my favorites Grilled lamb chops 5/5 my favorite of all. Grilled perfectly. Taste was excellent and served with special rice( forbidden rice or purple rice on top?). Drunken noodles with beef-5/5 ( some of my family's favorites). Pad Thai I paid extra for chicken and shrimp together. 5/5 I don't usually like shrimp but the prawns alone were amazing! Whole dish was perfect. Pad See Ew- 4/5 good but if I had to pick the other two pad Thai (#2) and drunken noodles (#1)were better. Laos sausage wrapped in leaves with a mix of peanuts, red onions and fresh lime and garlic. 5/5 A spicy sausage cut into slices to be wrapped in lettuce leaves. Pineapple fried rice 5/5 Mango Lovers- 10/5 surprisingly a star showcase of varied mango desserts with macaron cookies. Thai iced tea ice cream( loved this one), mango ice cream, mango slices and sweet rice, and a fresh strawberry and mango slices and a mango mousse cake slice. All excellent! I was surprised how big this was, so don't need to order any other dessert if you order this!!! Then my favorite fried banana fried in like a eggroll type wrapper. Smooth and yummy! And coconut ice cream complimented it perfectly. 10/5 So here you have an idea of menu offerings. All of them delicious and service and ambiance wonderful! I had a group of 12 in our party. It was a nice place to have a party. They loved all the drinks from lychee martini, Thai iced tea spiked and regular Thai iced teas and one with a basket drink. I am glad they helped us celebrate my daughter's achievements and sent her a complimentary ice cream. Thank you Torsop Thai for making it memorable and delicious for our family! Yes, that was my family and not even all of them were able to come-I have a big family! Definitely will come here for more family get togethers!

For the appetizer, we had the halloumi and shrimp dishes, plus the hamachi and poke tostadas. All of them were great! My personal favorite was the shrimp and the poke tostada. For entrees, we got the lamp chops, shrimp shishito risotto, and braised chicken. All three were great, the shrimp risotto was my favorite - absolutely delicious. The scalloped potatoes that come with the lamp chops are also incredible. The braised chicken is a very generous portion and enough to share, also tasty. We also got the cucumber salad and creamy chickpeas as our sides, our group loved both. Our last appetizer was the pita and hummus, which was heavenly and so fresh. For dessert, we got the tiramisu, halva chocolate cake, and baklava. Our group loved the tiramisu a lot. I am not a tiramisu girl, but I loved it. The service was also wonderful! Diana was our server and she was really sweet and attentive. She gave us a lot of great recommendations and was so helpful as we made our choices off the menu. I will also say that the service was very good- considering that it was very crowded at the time, however I had an odd experience with a hostess. I made a reservation in advance to celebrate my mom's birthday- when my family arrived, we were quite literally ignored by the hostess for about 10 minutes. She looked at us, and said "I will be right with you", only to come back 7 more times and ignore us again. She then made us wait 20 minutes into our reservation because another table wasn't finished with their meal. I initially didn't think anything of it (after all, it was a busy night)- until another group of white women who had made a reservation were immediately attended to by this hostess, and were given a table at a significantly better lit area. My indian family was made to sit at the corner of the restaurant, by the bathrooms. However I want to keep in mind that maybe it was a bad day, and the rest of the staff were very polite to us.
