It doesn't get any better than this and it was my first visit. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted like I was family. She was working on stocking the case, but made it well known that she was ready to serve me any donut I wanted. She even offered a free sample which I happily accepted. She had quite the selection of donuts. I've been trying to cut back so I only purchased three donuts I paid for my donuts. She thanked me and away I went. It's the tiniest little shop, nestled among a market and restaurants, so parking can sometimes be a little dicey at peak times, but if you go first thing in the morning, you're golden. Weirdest experience. I want to give this place 5 stars because the woman running the place was adorable and even made me a fresh donut when I asked her for something with cherry in it. I didn't know she was doing that as I didn't understand what she was saying when she pointed in back. But, how kind! We arrived at 8:00 AM on a Friday morning. Most donuts were sold out. NO COFEE and the place looked like it had just been robbed. Things were strewn everywhere and both people working were exasperated. But, we drove quite a bit out of our way for this experience and wish we wouldn't have. No bathrooms either - another problem when you're road tripping. Had to find a gas station on our way out and none at that particular hwy exit. Who knew?! Apple fritter was ok. Maybe allspice or nutmeg in there? I'm glad my review won't hurt this sweet lady as, clearly, it's a favorite amongst the locals! If you're road tripping tho, find a different donut joint. read more

This is a cute little donut shop in Greenwood. The staff there is very friendly here. They have a few tables inside the shop that you can sit at and enjoy your treat. They also have a drive-thru window where you can order your treats and get them without getting out of your car. There is ample parking available in the strip mall parking lot that it shares with other businesses. The shop is very neat and clean. Their donuts are reasonably priced. In addition to donuts, they have coffee and espresso and shirts. I had two issues with the shop. They do not have a large selection of donuts, at least while I was there. I got a half dozen and a cherry fritter. My main issue however, was that the donuts and fritter were not very fresh. Some of them were a bit harder than I normally get at other donut joints. The donuts were ok, but a telltale sign was that the donuts lasted for a couple of days in my house. That never happens. I had high hopes for this place. I really wanted to like it more, especially since I had a bit of a drive to get here. I may have caught them on an off day. read more

Since covid hit, I've made a point to grab donuts for the kids, wife and I every week because donuts put smiles on faces. It is statistically proven. Onto the meat... err, donuts The staff was super friendly and patient while my kids picked out their donut. The shop was super clean. They had a variety of donuts from glazed, chocolate cake, dinosaur sprinkle and their one of a kind pine cone. We could some white frosted with sprinkles, chocolate with sprinkles, pine cone, chocolate cake and donut holes. All had great flavor. The donut holes had a bit of crisp on the outside which I really liked. The inside was moist, soft and full of flavor. I almost got a little vanilla hint, really yummy. I found this cute little donut shop on a Facebook ad. I saw that they had a s'mores donut, and that's what sold me. The Facebook ad showed the marshmallow toasted, and that's what I was the most excited for. Unfortunately when I got there, none of the marshmallows were toasted. Other than that, the donuts were still decent and I loved all the cute shapes and colors they had for Valentine's Day. I might just need to go back on another day. read more

Just happened to see this little corner donut shop across from the gas station where we scored some cheaper gas. Since it was noon, I didn't have high hopes there would be much variety left. Rarely have I met a donut I wasn't willing to eat...I forged ahead. They have a drive thru but I am glad I decided to go in. They had donut hole samples...so yay! The young people manning the counter were so pleasant and seemed to actually "like" working. You don't see THAT real often! Although they were out of a few varieties I would have loved to try, what we did get did not disappoint. Banana custard filled was the long shot and if the filling would have actually been more of a Holland cream, I would probably be in everlasting bliss about now..lol All the yeast and cake donuts were very fresh and delightful. My first time at daylight donuts, they were very short on help (which I understand happens) the problem was they had a line in the store and anytime someone pulled up to the drive through they served them while we were all waiting. They should've shut down the drive through for the day. There was only one person taking orders and filling them. My wait was about 45 minutes. Their donuts were good. Super huge selection of Donuts yeast and cake. They change the special cake donuts up to go with the seasons. They have cinnamon pine cones that are really good. My favorite thing to grab and go has to be the cinnamon Sugar Donut holes. They will even fill jelly donuts as you wait. The coffee and espresso look good, I'm not really a coffee guy, but I get a can Monster and cinnamon twist and I'm powered up till 2. ;) They also have a drive through so if you don't want to deal with standing with a ton of other people. I go every week, at least once. It is convenient and the girls at the counter always have a smile. It doesn't get any better than that. read more
