Their food is just amazing. Everything: the chicken, the french fries, the bread, and let us not forget, the sauce. Just amazingly perfect.

I placed my order 24 hours a head of time in person as their website was not working properly to place such a simple order. I clearly requested and repeated to the supervisor that I needed this order ready no later than 11:30am and he assured me that it would be ready as I was taking this large order to 45 employees working a project for me. With a great deal of disappointment and frustration this order was not ready. I had to wait until 12:15 until the order was completed. When I asked why was the commitment not met, neither the cashier or anyone else could explain to me a reasonable cause. As a matter a fact the supervisor did not have the decency to come and speak with me when requested. Needless to say the food upon delivery to my project staff, the food was cold, the amount of French fries per box were less than a kids happy meal and the sauces on the side were not provided as specifically requested. No accountability, incredibly poor supervision, leadership and disappointed in the quality/quantity of the food! I will never patronize this business again! read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new chicken spot and we finally found one! I'm usually skeptical because every other place I've tried has been disappointing, but how are you supposed to know until you try? I got the Combo #1, Mild: 1 MC Sandwich, 1 Chicken Tender, Seasoned Crinkle Cut Fries, Pickles, and MC Sauce. Right off that bat I was surprised with the size of their chicken. Both, in the sandwich and the tender, are huge! Each was tender and juicy, and the mild flavor was right up my alley; not spicy and super flavorful. What I liked most about it, was that it was (and as much as I hate this word) moist, instead of dry like other places. The crinkle cut fries were crispy but still soft on the inside, and the MC sauces literally made everything that much better. It was all so good that I didn't even use the sauce until the end, realizing I should have been using it all along. I cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend! read more

THE best hot chicken I've had in LA!!! I lived in the south for over five years and have tried my share of comfort foods and wow this took me back. They were very busy when I showed up and still got our food out in a very reasonable time. The little restaurant plaza this is located in is very cute! All the benches are covered in art and there is plenty of shade. Also very clean and easy to socially distance while eating outdoors. They were playing some hip hop in the area and it really pulled together the vibe. Staff was super sweet and their menu is straightforward! We had the "spicy" level tenders (I believe that was one level below their highest) and boy are they hot! I have a pretty high tolerance to spicy food so it was perfect for me. Chicken was very moist, fries were well seasoned, and our side orders of Mac n cheese and coleslaw were equally delicious. The portions are quite generous as well. The tenders are HUGE. Excellent food and we will be back! I shared our leftovers with family and they all loved it too. read more

My reason for giving this a 2 star is because the advertisement on their website is deceiving. The combos on their website have drinks in them but when you go there they tell the combos do not come with a drink. I think every business should be transparent. Also I saw a 10% off coupon posted in front of this location when I went to pick up that was not posted on the website. I'll definitely never go here again. I would recommend not underestimating how filling these portions are and expect great flavors. Some time later, I had enough to justify giving it a try, and went for the mild dark meat sandwich. In terms of quality and flavor of the chicken, I'd put them just above Chick-fil-A. The coating was nice and crispy, and flavor had a good balance between the savory sweetness of the chicken, and the gentle bite from the heat. Ok the fries were really good but the chicken had no flavor at all it was just spicy with no taste... like if it was just dipped in paprika or something and seasoned with water. I was so disappointed the sauce was good tho so I just drenched my strips in the sauce so I can taste something. Oh and they were huge tho so that's a plus.
