Caveat: Hana (sp) was a great bartender. She's a keeper. #mainevent Super busy for a Tuesday, but it is spring break after all. Bowling lanes were all completely booked. At least, the grandkids were able to play games since they couldn't bowl. There were no "hostesses" to get a table to eat, but I scored a seat at the bar and had ordered their amazing cheese fries! Also, they had a kiosk to buy cards so we didn't have to wait in line. Despite being very busy, we had a great time, but because it was so busy, we left and went to eat Chinese Buffett.

If I could give this location a 0, I would! I just spent over $350 dollars in October for my son's party and another $100 bucks this weekend, just to get kicked out bc a child ran onto the bowling lane. We were invited out by friends last weekend for a bday get together when this incident happened. We received no notice but instead had our game of bowling cut short and got PUT OUT by security before we could use our all you can play cards. I called to speak w a manager , and got connected back to Jackson Sanders, which is the same guy who put us out. Before I could even explain the incident he said "he would not be refunding us due to the party being kicked out for a safety incident" first off all I didnt even get the chance to speak on the incident with him so how did he know which party I was with. Secondly, when I asked why there was no warning or reimbursement ( ie: game card totaling the amount owed) he said Main Event doesn't do refunds. He is a horrible face of the company & I will not be spending any more of my money with Main Event

    Extremely Clean!

I can't compliment this Team that runs this main event enough. From our visit, which was a meeting for 35, catered breakfast and lunch, and all of the activities after, they were outstanding! The entire Crew was beyond polite. Accommodating, and know the age of the facility, very clean! The bowling lanes looked fantastic. We had a blast in the arcades. If you are looking for a birthday party venue or meeting event space. This is your ONE STOP SHOP. Ask for Anita the GM and if you are doing a meeting request Dakota to take care of you!!

Confusing place to go first time there had no idea how to work the app or reload my card Games used up more then what was shown and points didn't accumulate onto the card at the end of the night. So we had to leave a little let down. We won't be back

After school end of year get together planned with myself/my younger teen and about 14 other teens/mom. We arrived right after lunch and I needed to feed my older special needs teen. We walked over to the pizza bar cafe and evidently it's not open anymore? The employee made it obvious by pushing the "closed sign" more prominent by the register....I said "oh, are y'all closed at lunch?". She said with a muffled masked face "place your orders at the bar" and points to the bar area up by the pool tables. Confused but ok...we walked back up to the the bar area and placed an order with a DELIGHTFUL barkeep. She was informative on the menu and her drink filler gun mesmerized my son as he watched her fill up the drinks. He got the honey BBQ wings and some fries. We told her where we'd be sitting and she brought our food hot and nicely presented to our table. It came with celery sticks (which I ate) and the most AMAZING ranch (which I also ate). This ranch dip alone was whoa! Impressed with his lunch. He cleaned up! As far as the other employees we interacted with, the front desk gentleman was informative on what was a good value, what was/was not included and what my son needed to play. We got the $20 pass and paid additional $5 for bowling shoes. This pass doesn't include arcade games but that's fine. A refillable game card was still a good deal. Each game is priced well. They had a decent selection of arcade games/lazerntag, etc., but I did notice a good amount of games broken/lights off. The kids still had fun together for a last minute impromptu event. Not crowded at all for a Thursday mid day. The things I would change. The restrooms...kinda gross. Floors, corners, smelled. The pizza restaurant...make it more obvious that it's closed? Honestly couldn't tell if they just don't use it or maybe just for weekends...still not sure what was going on. The arcade area...WHOA it was loud. Turn down the games just a bit. When leaving the area, my ears were ringing like after a concert. My older son just wanted to go back to the bowling area and play on my phone games instead of playing arcade games. Not good for $$ for games in my opinion.

Saturday night back to school bowling party! Service and food was great. Donny in the bar/pool area was super helpful.

That visit we had an off putting initial exchange with the guy doing check in; who told my kid to throw away their plastic water bottle. I offered to put it in my bag cause they needed it for some medications theg were taking at the time but the only options was leave it at the bar, toss it, or take it to the car and get a free water from the food station. I get not wanting spills but both the cider cups and water cups offer no lids and my kids water had a lid and could go in a bag. I think we caught this guy on a bad day because we have not had that issue again. Though we learned our lesson and if we had a water we stuck it in my bag. At another locations they explained they are actually fine with water bottles ... They ask just don't be obvious about it...just don't want people bringing in things like starbucks drinks or sonic drinks that take away from their drink sales or could be sneaking in something that could cost them their serving license. Electric Starship Arcade is much more than a nostalgic trip back to the arcades of the past. It is…read morea genuinely fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for the entire family. From the moment we walked in, my family was greeted like friendly neighbors. The proprietor took the time to welcome us, explain the arcade, and make sure everyone was having a great time. My son has always been fascinated by animatronics, and as it turns out, the arcade has a working animatronic display. The owner personally showed him how it operated, which made our first visit especially memorable and gave my son an experience he will continue talking about for a long time. The arcade also brought back memories I had completely forgotten. I immediately recognized the holographic 3D game that fascinated me as a child, although back then I rarely had enough quarters to actually play it. I also rediscovered unique games such as S.T.U.N. Runner, Silent Scope, and several others that I had not seen in years. There was even a 3D zombie shooter that genuinely scared my 10-year-old daughter, but in the best and most entertaining way possible. What makes Electric Starship especially valuable is that it offers children a completely different type of gaming experience. These games are off-grid, immediate, imaginative, and wonderfully free from the constant connection of social media and modern online gaming. Children learn timing, patience, coordination, and how to wait for actions and reactions within the game rather than receiving an endless stream of instant rewards. The limitations of retro games are actually part of what makes them so creative. The graphics may be simpler and the environments more contained, but those boundaries actually encourage imagination. I have observed that Kids become absorbed in the characters, sounds, challenges, and worlds created by the machines rather than being distracted by notifications, online rankings, memes,  or social media feeds. Most importantly, retro gaming creates a more human and shared experience. Parents can stand beside their children, explain the games they once played, laugh together, compete, cooperate, and create new memories around something that was once part of their own childhood. With so many multiplayer games available, children can play side by side with their parents, siblings, and friends instead of interacting only through headsets and screens from separate rooms. Electric Starship Arcade is not simply about nostalgia. It introduces today's children to a new kind of gaming that is social, physical, imaginative, and shared in person. It reminds us that some of the best gaming experiences happen when families and friends are standing next to one another, laughing, learning, competing, and waiting together to see what happens next. Highly recommended for families, longtime arcade fans, and anyone looking for a fun experience that feels both refreshingly different and wonderfully familiar. We will absolutely be returning.

What surprised me most is that the food is actually great; not something you always expect from a vintage arcade, but they've definitely nailed it. I even chose to celebrate Mother's Day here last year, and we've been back several times since. It's fairly priced, clean, and always a fun, nostalgic experience. I also love that they rotate themed sections every so often, keeping things fresh and giving you a reason to come back. Check out my photos and videos, and one of these days, I will finally master Tron! Note to say, I've heard there is live music there on the stage at night on the weekends, but we haven't been during this time. We prefer to go during the day.

Tokyo Station is the sister location to Free Play Arcade, the groundbreaking bar/arcade concept…read more This location used to be a Free Play Arcade but has now been converted to a Japanese arcade theme destination. If you're expecting old school arcade games like Free Play Arcade, you'll be disappointed. If you want to be transported to Japan via Arlington, read on. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Step into the world of the Japanese arcade. As you walk in, you'll notice claw and Gachapon machines tempting you to play and win something. There's Japanese pop music piping through the speakers, and a dedicated room full of imported Japanese arcade games add more sounds. There's also a dedicated bar and dining area. It was relatively empty at 12:30 PM on a Friday. But it's also simply INCREDIBLE if you're into Japanese culture. You're not in DFW anymore. 2 Star. Service - There's a friendly bartender, if you want to order drinks (I did not). Otherwise, you place your order at a kiosk, grab a numbered puck, and then grab a seat. When your puck starts making a sound, your food will be ready at the windows. Heads up, if you leave you table unattended the staff with clean up so others can sit. They're very efficient. 1 Star. Food - Let me first say, if you're looking for the Free Play Arcade experience, you will be disappointed. If you're looking to be transported to a Japanese arcade (me) this place is awesome. The kiosks are very straight forward; you can order packaged ramen to ramen made in house. I went with the Street Tonkatsu. The broth was mild (not overly salty), and the pork belly was very tender. I also ordered the Tokyo Station Tacos. The JBBQ pulled pork was surprisingly tasty, but I couldn't help but long for a Chinese Bao instead of a tortilla. But what impressed me the most was the booth we sat in. It was connected to a monitor, and we could access a bunch of SNES games. 1 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes! Tokyo Station is my kind of jam. The only thing that gave me concern is that it wasn't very busy on a Friday. I hope this concept stays, because it's the closest thing to a Japanese arcade besides flying to Japan. 1 Star.

There were a few games that were the American version but only a few...Galaga and Pacman were the ones that I noticed. The cost for the "free play" is a little pricey compared to Cidercade...if we are comparing size and what's included. I also think that it helps to have an interest in japanese video games, which I do not. This is a really small arcade which did make it hard to move around and there were lines for the popular games, unfortunately, the overall experience was not really that exciting. The service at the bar was the great, the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. There is a separate area for the free play and the kids working the counter were mostly on their phones unless someone walked up to them.
