We had bowling reservations and were excited for a fun night, but unfortunately this ended up being the worst experience we've had here -- and we've been coming since they first opened. We are a party of seven and planned to order quite a bit of food and drinks while we bowled. However, our lane kept fouling every single person who bowled. We found someone and asked for assistance and were told someone would come help. Thirty minutes later, no one had come -- not to fix the lane and not to take our food order. A very kind gentleman happened to walk by, and we stopped him to explain the issue. He immediately called it in and asked for the foul line to be turned off. We also asked how we were supposed to order food, and he told us a waitress would come to our table. As he started to walk away, he turned back around and offered to take our order himself and write it down for the waitress -- which we genuinely appreciated. We asked about substituting the brussels sprouts on a platter due to an allergy in our party. He radioed to confirm and was told it was fine, so we placed the rest of our fairly large order. A few minutes later, a young woman came over and said they do not do substitutions like that. We explained that we had asked for approval before ordering and that the gentleman had radioed to confirm. She said "oh, okay" and walked off. Shortly after, a blonde woman came over and identified herself as the manager. She said she was told we claimed to have spoken to a manager. Her tone felt very accusatory, repeatedly asking, "Who did you talk to?" We had to physically look around and point out the person who helped us. She then informed us he's "not even a waiter, he's a party host," as if that somehow invalidated the help he gave us. Ironically, he was the only person who was proactive and helpful the entire time. And here's the biggest issue -- no one ever fixed the lane. Even after all the conversations, it continued to foul every player for the duration of our time. Manager or not, if an issue is brought to your attention and it never gets resolved, that's a serious breakdown in management. With reservations and a group of seven ready to spend money, we expected better organization, communication, and service. This was easily the worst experience we've had here. The only bright spot of the night was the party host who actually stepped up when no one else did. read more

This review is driven by the staff, everything else was a cherry on top. I absolutely must mention these three Mack, Eric, and TJ -- so helpful, attentive, and genuinely fun! We grabbed a few lanes to bowl with family and friends for my son's 5th birthday party. I stopped by the day before to reserve lanes and confirm that bringing balloons and cookies was okay, and the whole process of reserving and paying was super easy. When we arrived Saturday morning, everything was already set up and ready for us to get started. The staff stayed on top of our drinks and orders the entire time, and everyone had an amazing time. It's been a minute since, I've been to Main Event. I was in the area on a Friday evening when my neighbor invited me so, I headed over. Let me share the details with you. It's very well maintained. It's attractive from the inside out. They have a front door greeter and a lot of pool tables. However it can be a little difficult not to get in someone's way when playing pool. They have a great 90s Playlist. Main event seems to be popular among the Youngsters. There was a bit of a wait to bowl. Bowling section has several large screens to view the game as you bowl. There were several Bartenders but they were unattentive? If you purchase a soda you get free refills. Main Event offers a small party room. They also have a small restaurant inside that sells pizza. There are lots of Videos games to play. For example example they have Mario Kart and Skee-Ball. I played Air Hockey. The table lite up well and had a sturdy pusher . The Winners Choice was a room filled with prizes but, most were humble. I would definitely recommend Main Event they have something for everyone. read more

If you want a family filled good time this is the place to come. They have a little bit of everything for everyone in the family. Bowling, billiards and every type of video game that you can imagine. And you cannot forget the laser tag which is the best and will give you a workout at the same time while having fun. Caveat: Hana (sp) was a great bartender. She's a keeper. #mainevent Super busy for a Tuesday, but it is spring break after all. Bowling lanes were all completely booked. At least, the grandkids were able to play games since they couldn't bowl. There were no "hostesses" to get a table to eat, but I scored a seat at the bar and had ordered their amazing cheese fries!Also, they had a kiosk to buy cards so we didn't have to wait in line. Went bowling and ordered a drink and some food, I had to repeat my order three times just for them to still get it wrong (I even pointed at the picture). I played an entire round of bowling and my drink still hadn't come out. It seems like it was everyone's first day, including the manager. If I could give this location a 0, I would! I just spent over $350 dollars in October for my son's party and another $100 bucks this weekend, just to get kicked out bc a child ran onto the bowling lane. We were invited out by friends last weekend for a bday get together when this incident happened. We received no notice but instead had our game of bowling cut short and got PUT OUT by security before we could use our all you can play cards. I called to speak w a manager , and got connected back to Jackson Sanders, which is the same guy who put us out. Before I could even explain the incident he said "he would not be refunding us due to the party being kicked out for a safety incident" first off all I didnt even get the chance to speak on the incident with him so how did he know which party I was with. Secondly, when I asked why there was no warning or reimbursement ( ie: game card totaling the amount owed) he said Main Event doesn't do refunds. I can't compliment this Team that runs this main event enough. From our visit, which was a meeting for 35, catered breakfast and lunch, and all of the activities after, they were outstanding! The entire Crew was beyond polite. Accommodating, and know the age of the facility, very clean! The bowling lanes looked fantastic. We had a blast in the arcades. The person at the front counter was pretty awesome and the bartender was attentive to everyone walking up. The service on the lanes was complete trash, many games didn't work and there wasn't much of a selection to redeem for points. On the lanes, we pressed the virtual assistant button over 3 times and no one showed. I had also asked the 3-4 people standing at one of the registers about who our server was. No one offered assistance and no one ever came by. The seating area for the lanes and the restrooms were dirty. Multiple times, there were more than 3-4 people standing around talking to each other and hanging out while ignoring customers asking for assistance. Our service was so bad, the employee at the front counter gave us more time to make up for us having to walk back and forth to the bar area for beverages. Thank you to him! As we were leaving over an hour later, a group of teenagers were personally escorted to the seats across from us and a magical server appeared. After school end of year get together planned with myself/my younger teen and about 14 other teens/mom. We arrived right after lunch and I needed to feed my older special needs teen. We walked over to the pizza bar cafe and evidently it's not open anymore? The employee made it obvious by pushing the "closed sign" more prominent by the register....I said "oh, are y'all closed at lunch?". She said with a muffled masked face "place your orders at the bar" and points to the bar area up by the pool tables. Confused but ok...we walked back up to the the bar area and placed an order with a DELIGHTFUL barkeep. She was informative on the menu and her drink filler gun mesmerized my son as he watched her fill up the drinks. He got the honey BBQ wings and some fries. We told her where we'd be sitting and she brought our food hot and nicely presented to our table. It came with celery sticks (which I ate) and the most AMAZING ranch (which I also ate). This ranch dip alone was whoa! Impressed with his lunch. He cleaned up! As far as the other employees we interacted with, the front desk gentleman was informative on what was a good value, what was/was not included and what my son needed to play. We got the $20 pass and paid additional $5 for bowling shoes. This pass doesn't include arcade games but that's fine. A refillable game card was still a good deal. Each game is priced well. They had a decent selection of arcade games/lazerntag, etc., but I did notice a good amount of games broken/lights off. The kids still had fun together for a last minute impromptu event. Not crowded at all for a Thursday mid day. The things I would change. The restrooms...kinda gross. Floors, corners, smelled. The pizza restaurant...make it more obvious that it's closed? Honestly couldn't tell if they just don't use it or maybe just for weekends...still not sure what was going on. The arcade area...WHOA it was loud. Turn down the games just a bit. When leaving the area, my ears were ringing like after a concert. My older son just wanted to go back to the bowling area and play on my phone games instead of playing arcade games. My family liked our time here. We had a blast and will definitely return. Video games and laser tag were really fun. Not into bowling, but pool tables were fun and area decently clean. Would give this place five stars but seemed to lack customer service at the front counter (where you purchase wrist bands, etc.). The staff was not pleasant or engaged with customers, the young woman helping me was rude and impatient. Another employee helping me husband approx two hours later was rude with him. So just warning you not to expect much at that counter. The rest of the employees, from bartenders to laser tag and video game staff were extremely pleasant and super friendly. read more

Absolute worst experience ever. Power went out while playing games and they wouldn't let us pay with CASH because the wifi was out. Why would you need wifi for cash. The bowling balls wouldn't come after you bowl so we had to get new ones every time. read more

There's no way I should have to argue with the supervisor of the establishment about a refund upon me being in the place of business not even ten minutes. My group had a good time when we came in and we're just catching up and deciding what activity we wanted to do. We also had a great time at laser tag. When we did not have the best time is when we decided to have a drink afterwards. I bunch of people had just came in to play pool at that time and I would have appreciated a little bit fast service to get everyone through during that rush especially since the drinks being ordered were just drafts. I ordered chips and queso and a beer then I sit down. I expect to see my drink on the counter to grab in a minute or so but they had forgot it and I had to go up there to remind them. My food arrives pretty shortly after and then my friends "order" comes out just after that. They bring chips and loaded queso. She ordered loaded fries. So she send it's back and they claim that they entered it wrong in the computer yet her receipt was correct. So we think that is when they're fixing the mistake. Another order comes to our table, still no fries. So we ask about them and the teen server laughs it off and says it was her bad. We are finishing our food yet my friend still has no fries. So we ask for manager whom we had seen sitting at a nearby table working on a computer with a meal, not managing the staff... We request out money back because it's been about an hour at this point. They get the money as the fries are finally coming out and we can hear him telling the waiter something about how she asked for her money back as if she shouldn't get the food that's now finally coming out in addition to her money back for the whole mess. The manager apologizes and claims they needed to make new queso yet they never mentioned that in the hour we were waiting or offered an alternative order so it really seemed like they just didn't want to fully take ownership. She does end up getting the food and money back so the situation was corrected but it definitely made the evening less enjoyable having. This was also a Tuesday, not a peak day... read more

By far the worst service ever. Dirty tables everywhere and I had placed an order only to realize that the person before left without paying. I asked someone to clean my table but he only removed the plates and cups but didn't bother to clean/wipe down the table. I then asked who could fix the bill because it wasn't payed for or taken care of and they called a manager who took forever to come by and all they did was take the little computer to order from and I don't know what happened to my order. The guy said he would bring my drinks but he walked away from the area he should have been walking to for the drinks. Update! he brought me one drink right and one drink wrong and forgot 3 more drinks. I believe a manager who never bothered to come to our table knows about the bill for someone else that I complained about and I think it was #201 listed on the tablet where you order. He took the tablet and I don't know what happened other than I never got my food and you suck at doing your job. read more

tried to celebrate my son's 4th birthday here and paid over $400 for a 2 hour slot that was done very sloppy. they have teenagers hosting the whole thing, my family and guests were very upset when one girl came in to shut the party down. the way it was handled was very rude and unprofessional, she came in literally YELLING "party over, to collect our items that we wanted to keep" as soon as we got done singing happy birthday to my child. if I could give 0 stars I would. I filed a complaint with their management staff and nothing was done, no follow up or anything. spent my hard earned money at a place my son and I will never come back to. period, my son won't ever forget that experience, and I'm not over exaggerating it, he won't! he brings it up every time we drive by the place. I can't get that moment back with my child or family. My family and guests witnessed the whole thing which was extremely embarrassing and uncalled for. and the lady assisting as the lead was informed moments after that, and said she would talk to her. like no ma'am that is not enough for the amount paid for, and she ruined a whole moment. So for nothing to be done, and for me not to get a follow up call from management after asking for all of my damn information for no reason, I feel bamboozled and will not spend another dime at this ran down location. which is sad because this is the closest one to me. read more

When my daughter chose Main Event- Fort Worth, as her go-to arcade... I was excited, and happy to go! That faded after only 5 minutes there. It wasn't crowded when we drove up and finding parking close to the entrance was a +10 for me. Upon entrance we were greeted by the employees at the main counter, and the service was awesome. We got our cards, and moosied on over to the arcade. My daughter told me have fun, be good, and she'd call me if she needed me; ran off that-a-way! Lol. Only a few minutes later she came back very disappointed- many of the games were out-of-order; missing balls; stealing points, and not offering what she paid for. She was HOT, to say the least. At about he same time she came up, my coin shooter game stopped working. I thought I was out of points and kept swiping only to realize, it was stuck! So, I sought out help; shouldn't be too hard to do. It was next to impossible! Finally found someone. Upon asking one of the ME associates if he could call someone (because everyone walks around with the lil earpieces, gossiping and using them to ignore the customers, you would think it would be easy to call someone) he pointed off in some unknown direction and said "speak to them, over there." I looked, saw he was pointing to no man's land, and wanted to ask "who, and where, again?," to no one, because dude was gone. So I attempted to walk into the direction he pointed, found nothing and no one. I knew that was going to be the case before I even attempted, but I thought I should at least try. I then got my daughter to hold my seat and went searching for help. By time I found someone I was hot, and I managed to hold myself back from asking for refund, because every business open today, needs the funds. I walked all over the arcade area; had a few employees look my way, turn there heads, look down and wander off. And, I finally found someone... all the way back at the main counter! I had to walk him all the way back to my stuck machine. When I explained what happened, he fiddled with it, jiggled it... but never opened it, with any of those 10,000 keys hanging from his key chain, to dislodge the coins that were stuck.... Hhmmmm?!? He then said it's "catastrophically down. Please go to the Game Center and see the guy in there; he'll put your points back on the card." I said thank you, and he ran outta the area. I understand employees get tired, I get tired myself. I understand employees don't always have the answers, I don't either. I understand employees are probably fed up, I would be too. That being said, customer service is what you signed up for. You may be tired, dismayed, even pissed off, but customers, paying customers, need you to do your job. I didn't ask for anything outside of your job description. Next, my child finally ran out of points and off to the Game Center we went. Upon entering there was a family standing there... just looking pitiful. And, the young man manning the Game Center looked frustrated as hell. He kept calling in the little earpiece for some sort of help. Then I saw the problem- the family was waiting to get an item that was clipped up on the wall. The guy seemed so tired of waiting; he got an item from the shelf and tried to use it to dislodge the item, to no avail. He was in the middle of the this family's transaction, so we had to wait. In the meantime, we stood looking at each other, all of us, not knowing where to look, or what to do. Awkward, to say the least. Ten minutes; finally, this guy brought a step ladder, said he finally found it behind the bar, dropped it, and bolted. At this point, the line had grown, and this guy was left alone to fix the anxiety, frustration, and all around bad juju in the room. Wow, the lack of customer service, and the lack of teamwork! Wow! My lil one never wants to go back, and I don't blame her. She hasn't even spoken about the day she had at ME- that tells me everything I need to know. I will NEVER be returning there- thank heavens Alley cats is about to open near us! Never going back there; that place sucks worse than a 1970s' Ford Pinto! read more

It was a fun place but there was like a three hour wait for bowling and there was no waiters waitresses but we made the best out of it
