I was so excited about this place opening up. It's a huge pizza place! The Parking Lot is brand new There's lots of Parking Spots available. The Cashier was ready to take my order. Mr. Gattis offers an online special for $20.00 it includes, 2 medium one topping Pizzas, 1 order of Cheesey Bread Sticks and1 order of Cinnamon Sticks. I placed my order on the website . It was ready pretty quickly. I barely had enough time to check out the Game Room. There are quite a few games to choose from. They also have a Sports room with sports memorabilia displayed on the walls, a Movie room, where you can watch movies and they even have an Ice Cream Machine. I would definitely recommend Mr. Gattis. I like Me Gattis prices versus the taste of his Cheese Sticks and Pizzas. He has a nice game room for the Kids too. read more

Came here and was happy with the "mom's eat free deal" didn't like that I was charged for drinks. It was to my understanding that drinks are included. Nothing was fresh on the bar. The spaghetti was literally cold the pizza was cold. We understand we can ask for specialty pizza and we did but we shouldn't have to ask for every single pizza to be fresh they just should be. There was a hair in the Alfredo pasta. The silverware was dirty in the bin with dried food on it. My son asked for a coloring sheet the lady went to look for one came back and started helping someone else. After no joke about 10 minutes I went to see what was going on and she went to look again. Came back and said they didn't have any. Could've told my son that right away instead of making him stand at the counter for 15 minutes. Enjoyed the s'mores pizza that was pretty good and they are giving 5$ game cards to the children so that is nice but the overall quality and cleanliness of the restaurant was very disappointing. Today was my second visit, and it wasn't nearly as good as the first visit. Today's cheese pizza looked great, but unlike the first visit, today's pizza had a strong "off" flavor that was offensive, and it was very spicy. I ate one slice and waited 10 minutes before trying a second slice. No improvement, so after 2 bites of the second slice, I threw the uneaten slices in the trash. I wonder if someone intentionally sabotaged it. read more

I come from Austin,Tx where you see Mr Gatti's pizza everywhere. And finding out there one so close makes me so happy. I grew up going every weekend and now I can make that memories with my kids. Everything looks so clean, great workers so helpful! I was so surprised even one one the lady's told me if I was ok lol she asked me if I wanted any pizza in particular I order chicken cilantro barbecue pizza it was delicious! I have loved Mr. Gatti's pizza since the first time I had it in Austin, Texas, fifty years ago. My wife and I were camping in the local area, so I had to get me some Gatti's. It did not disappoint. The unique flavor of the smoked provolone cheese they use is what separates Gatti's from all other pizzas. I just wish the Gatti's in Tyler, Texas didn't close. That was a crime. This is one of the more challenging reviews to give. I typically try a place more than once before leaving reviewing unless it's not a place I would plan on returning to or a fine dining experience that again, I wouldn't return to any time soon. Family of 4 - we purchased the 4 pack with drinks and $20 in gaming credits for $60. It wasn't absurd but a bit on the higher end (especially for the pizza, or lack of). Location was very clean. Plenty of staff and honestly, everyone was polite and present. I love the layout - different sections of seating and all titled. Cafe, sports, theater, all playing a variety of things on tv according to the section. Very cool. Nice drink and ice cream station and loved the Funkytown drink machine! Salad bar is honestly BOMB! That's what makes this review difficult. I enjoy a great salad and this had everything from chick peas to sunflower seeds to pickles and olives. Outstanding! Now the pizza - both of our kiddos gave it a thumbs down (neither of them had salads). My 14 year old only ate 2 slices - she was thoroughly disappointed. She said it tasted like frozen Tony's pizza. There was literally no pizza available and what was available was dried up looking and so unappealing. Our other kiddo went back about 4-5x constantly checking for more fresh pizza and he finally did get 2 slices but at that point we were all over it...we just had to be happy with our salads (my husband and I) and take this as a loss. Self serve ice cream was very good - we took them to go after leaving the gaming area. Per my husband, sweet tea was bad a**. Kids loved the gaming area. Again, very clean and lots of variety. They both agreed they'd return if we bought more $ for the gaming or if they didn't have to eat the pizza. In the end - we were disappointed with the pizza availability, freshness of pizza, and cost for what we got - especially being a new place that is kiddo friendly near our home. Don't think we will be back but was nice to check out and again, great salad bar. read more

I loved visiting Mr. Gatti's with my family today! The staff were so kind and genuinely seemed to care about the guests. The manager was especially friendly. It's easy to find a great deal there were--like BOGO game cards and kids eat free on Sundays. The interior was clean and well-kept, and I loved that I could request any pizza and have it brought right to my table. Even the team member at the game counter was super helpful and welcoming. I went to Mr Gatti's on McCart Ave today and must say it was among the best pizza that I've ever had. I was there around 3:00 and the young girl who helped me told me that she would make whatever pizza that I wanted if it was not already out there. I told her Hamburger, Bacon, Red Onion, and tomatoes. they brought it to me and it was perfect. I also ate a salad, and had the cinnamon bead stick for dessert. It was just like the good old days. I wish I had gotten the name of the young lady who made it for me. Even though it's a 45 minute drive for me, I will be back. Thanks Mr. Gatti's. read more

Considering it's a pizza buffet, they had no pizza. They had 4 to 5 different types of pizzas and it took a while before they were able to get fresh ones out if you were to order a pizza we waited over an hour and we only ended up getting 2 to 3 slices. The arcade was one of the most enjoyable parts and so was the ice cream machine. read more

I loved Gatti's back when I was a teenager and was happy to see them make a comeback. However, if they want to be successful in this area, they need to make some improvements on quality and service. They have a beautiful place with a great atmosphere and game room but the pizza is just average at most. Selection was very limited and they don't ask if you have any requests. The service is okay, manager wise I can tell they're really trying but employee wise maybe they need to get trained better. I like that you can order a custom pizza through the buffet and they'll bring out a couple slices to your table. The only one who seemed to know about this was the manager though. They had to explain to the employees on the spot. I feel like this needs to be something that's emphasized throughout training so they can better assist customers especially since it is a NEW establishment that customers might not be familiar with. First time visiting Mr. Gatti's in the Walmart, Hudson Oaks, Texas. It was a memorable experience as my first date with my future wife was to a Mr. Gatti's in Arlington, Tx over 35 years ago. I have to say, I enjoyed every bite of the pizza they prepared. The staff were friendly and inviting. The menu was extensive. It's worth checking them out. read more

We got there within the last hour of closing everyone was very friendly and helpful. Their Grand Opening was the day before. I have always liked Mr. Gatti's but they closed all the ones near us. So when they opened the one on McCart I was excited it's less than a mile from my house. The buffet was great I didn't go into the arcade but I plan on doing that soon. read more

Mr. Gatti's pizza was actually good. Not the best but It was good. There was a girl at the front I believe her name was Anetzi or something like that. She was very rude. My wife said" hi how are you ?" and that cashier just stared at my wife with a caca face. Then she shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes. I asked for a buffet for 2 and she said what else do you want. Horrible costumer service. The salad was good and the dessert was not too bad for a good price. There isnt much variety of pizza but you can request a pizza. Over all the food was good but the cashier sucked. Everyone else in staff was friendly and helpful. read more
