Yikes. Decided to try this place as a few had recommended on the local hip group online. Ordered Kung pao chicken. It was really bad. Had globs of a gelatin type substance. I was a steady customer of the old Main Moon management. Despite the one bad review, I decided to give the new management a try. It was a big order for my birthday party. First, I went to the store to ask questions. Chris and Emma were very friendly and sweet. I gave the order in a day ahead of time. The food arrived right on time, delivered with a smile and a wish for my happy birthday. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! All the vegetables were fresh and crisp, even the next day after microwaving the leftovers. Generous qualities, subtly good flavors. Everyone gave the meal a five star YUM review. Main moon always comes in clutch when we need it. Open pretty late so when you plans fall through or you miss dinner elsewhere you can count on being able to buy way too much Chinese for one person. My favorite items are the general tso's & the crab Rangoon. I always toss the rangoons in my air fryer an extra 3 mins when I get home & they are perfection. General tso's is sweet & not spicy but hits the spot. Not the best Chinese spot in town but serves its purpose & the staff are nice. read more

Ordered dinner delivery. $50 worth of food. $10 of that was delivery & processing charges & tip. Food was very disappointing. I was nice, called back to say Mongolian Beef Chef Special was almost all onions and virtually no beef. No solution was given to current order. Only come in and order again sometime and we will we give you what you should have gotten (& paid for) this time. No thanks. I literally live 3 min away, so another order could have been dropped by on a later delivery. Chef even argued she said he put in enough beef. Not good customer service. I know things are expensive now, but they should at least give you your money's worth when you order. I wouldn't order anything from here. read more

This place has really gone down hill. I used to have this as a five star, the food was on point every time. I think ownership changed and it's very apparent they've made some changes for the worse. The quality of meat has declined and for the past three months or so every single time we order, half of the order is wrong. Customer service here is terrible as well. Try to play off the mistakes but when it's happening 100% of the time, you have no more excuses. During the past few months they have randomly closed on days. Inconsistent food quality and service here now. It's such a shame because we used to order from this place constantly, because it was so good!!! New ownership or staff needs to get their act together and figure out how to make and deliver quality and correct food orders. This is my go to for Chinese food delivery. I don't go outside the norm for delivery, it's too expensive. I order their bone in ribs, pork fried rice, chicken wings, and wonton soup. I have Covid. I ordered from Uber Eats egg drop soup and a coke. Got a Diet Coke. The main thing I wanted was the coke and it was wrong. Called to get my money back. Try had me call back at 4:00 and then told me to call at 6:30. They told me I'd have to bring the food back...that I'd order like 5 hours before lol...and I told them once again that I had Covid. So I am currently eating my Main Moon lunch which I got based on the previous review. Wow. What a disappointment. First of all, words like "authentic" should not be used lightly. This menu is anything but. Main Moon features the usual Americanized fare. Now don't get me wrong, I like this side of Chinese food - when done well it is one of my fav guilty pleasures. This on the other hand was not done well. You weren't kidding about the atmosphere, this place is dismal. But whatever, it's a takeout joint, I get it. The food however was inexcusable. I got the General Tso's tofu because it's an unusual tofu option. The tofu is tough and chewy and the sauce is way too sweet. Plus, doesn't this style usually include sesame seeds? The shrimp egg roll I had was equally disappointing and reminiscent of mall Chinese fare. In total I paid $10 for this disaster (that $1 tip, no drink). I will not be doing it again. read more

I've eaten here several times (take out and sit in) and it's your average Americanized Chinese joint. Don't expect any more or any less--you won't be impressed or disappointed.
