I just found about this juice store and was excited to try it out. They have juices and wellness shots made fresh daily. They serve them in bottles that you can grab and go. So they are already prepared before you come. You can also order smoothies and frozen drinks - these are made to order. I have had the vision juice a couple times and loved it. It contains apple, carrot, pineapple, lemon, beet, and ginger. It's def my favorite. I've also had the wheatgrass, and the cure (lemon, ginger, cayenne) wellness shots. I've gotten the cure a couple times and would order again for the heath benefits. And I've had the Hydrate juice (watermelon, pineapple, coconut water, and lemon) which is also pretty tasty. The store is cute. I would suggest coming when you're not in a rush since there's a lot to choose from and also there's a relaxed pace of making beverages. I love the one in the city so I was hoping for the same experience when I came home to visit and its always great. Typically I'm running extremely late and cutting close to their closing time but the staff is always nice and makes sure me needs are met. Update : I went online to "complain" about my juice and within 2 hours someone called me and they refunded my card for the correct price! Amazing customer service!!! I just visited for the second time, and I am impressed, yet again! The PB&J smoothie is life changing. It really tastes exactly like a PBJ sandwich. It's such a comfort food for me and brings me back to childhood. But now i can drink it, guilt free! This time, I also purchased 2 juices to try. I'm very excited to see what they're all about! Overall I am really happy with my experience at Main Squeeze, but today I had one small issue. Some juices are still there on their sell by date, so they mark them down. I grabbed a marked down juice because today is the sell by date, but I was charged in full and did not realize until I got home. Bummer but not going to drastically change my opinion of this place. I have come back here on more than one occasion and I can honestly say not only have I not been disappointed but I've always left happy with every single purchase I have made. I love that the staff is very knowledgeable about the products. I am a huge fan of Main Squeeze Juice Co. Some would say that the juices are a bit pricey, but they are worth every penny. Be sure to pay attention to the consume by dates. They are really important because it reflects how fresh the juices are and when they must be consumed by. There is another cold-pressed juice company in town, but I prefer this one. I think the juices are so much better. If you're not into juices, grab a smoothie or one of their bowls. The location is clean, staff is super helpful and there is always something fresh & delicious being served! If you're interested in doing a cleanse, they have a whole plan for you depending on how many days you'd like to do the cleanse for. If you like coffee, they have some pretty delicious coffee drinks that are made with their house-made mylks. Seasonal smoothies, like their pumpkin spiced latte. My favorite juices are the all greens (no fruit), Detox (with activated charcoal), Alive (the blue one) and the one with beets. They also have wellness shots, too, which I love. When I got the invitation I was somewhat reluctant to accept because I just didn't think it sounded like a place I could enjoy. Needless to say I'm glad I accepted the invitation. Upon arrival, one can easily see this is a newly developed area and not too far from the campus of Louisiana's flagship university, LSU. Still somewhat wishing I had not accepted the invitation we entered the establishment. There we were greeted by pure enthusiasm from McKenna, the establishment's manager. She welcomed everyone with such enthusiasm and zeal that it served as an enabler to break down my lack of enthusiasm and I soon began to get interested. After checking in with the Yelp manager we were offered some light snacks from Zoe's. The snacks were tasty but that's not the reason we were there. We were there to learn about Main Squeeze Juice Company. McKenna divided us up into two groups. Each group was assigned an area with an employee. Our group was assigned to Maja, a very knowledgeable and intelligent young lady who's brain was pack full of information about the variety of juices offered by the establishment. She was joyful to be around and imparted her knowledge of the various custom made juices on to us. We were offered samples of each juice they sell. We learned how the juices are made, their ingredients and got to experience their aroma and flavor. This was a great experience. I never knew there were so many reasons for juices. And Maja can tell you all about each one. After we finished tasting the large variety of juices our group moved on to the area behind the counter. We were assigned to Grace. Grace was kind, sweet and very patient with each of us as she guided us through our process of making fruit smoothies and other healthy drinks. First we went to the sink to thoroughly wash and dry our hands and put on gloves. My wife and I were first. Grace gave each of us a large plastic cup to prepare our smoothies. I picked a smoothie that had bananas, coconut, strawberries, coconut water, and pineapples. It was called Creamy Colada. My wife picked strawberries and bananas with rice milk and honey. I believe it was called the Classic. Grace patiently walked us through the process one step at a time - end result two really outstanding and healthy smoothies. After the smoothies we were then treated to a variety of bowls. My favorite was the Açaí Berry bowl. Excellent! The event was fun, the restaurant staff and manager were absolutely amazing and the experience was well worth the visit. If you want something different or would like a new culinary experience then don't hesitate to try The Main Squeeze Juice Company. Study the menu carefully- take your time. I've been to this Main Squeeze twice I recently and it was good but a little inconsistent and pricy. I had never had their smoothies but heard that if you sign up for their rewards, that you get texts with their deals. I went for the half off smoothie day so my smoothie was only about $4. I got the classic which was so refreshing and delicious. However, they are pricy. The 24 oz smoothie is $9+. I understand that it's because of their quality but that is pretty pricy for a smoothie. I will probably only be back for a day where there's a deal because otherwise it's pretty high priced. I got the 12 oz smoothie but it was so small for $5 that it's pretty much only worth it to get the 24 oz if you're already going to spend a lot for their smoothies. Their prices are the only thing that's keeping me from being a regular. The smoothie I did not really care for was the Java nut. It had flavor, but not enough like it needed way more. They have the best flavors of cold pressed juices I've ever tasted! My favorite is the Detox which is charcoal mixed with lemon that tastes like Minute Maid lemonade and also Awake which has apple cinnamon I think orange as well. There are other flavors that blend kale, beets, cayenne pepper and other ingredients together to get your daily dosage of fruit and vegetables. While I might not be a fan of them all, they are ALL drinkable surprisingly. I also like that you can see them straining the fruit through the window preparing the next bottles. I am also always greeted with happy employees, they also have frequent random discount days with $2 or $3 off and there is a reward program. They sell smoothies as well. Three 16-ounce bottles for only $18, so we ended up buying six bottles, which should last us a week give or take a day. The cold-pressed 16-ounce bottles that were included in my order along with its ingredients were the: DETOX: filtered water, lemon, agave, and activated charcoal VISION: apple, carrot, pineapple, lemon, beet, and ginger VITALITY: zucchini, pineapple, kale, apple, and spinach BURN: apple, lime, ginger, and jalapeno IMMUNITY: apple, beet, and zucchini They are all great-tasting juices even though I have a very strong preference to the BURN because of the combined ingredients especially the jalapeno which really gives it a kick. While the juices are of great quality and taste good, and the customer service is also phenomenal, I'm shocked by the prices of the snacks. I expect cold pressed juices to be relatively expensive, but I purchased a small (3 oz.) bag of veggie chips as a snack with my morning juice, and was disappointed to see that they were $6.95. For a bag of chips! That's ridiculous, especially when catering to college students. Please bring in less expensive snacks. There are healthy and less expensive options out there.
