Good bagel. Doughy croissant. Service was quick but no personality. Asked for open face for here and was charged extra. Got the bagel closed in a bag. Cashier and bagel maker were the same person. Nice seating area if you are eating here.

"Sesame seed" bagel

This bagel shop has disappointed me twice in the same week. They handled their sesame seed bagels so roughly that nearly all of the seeds fell off, leaving the bagel plain. Today's bagel wasn't fully cut into two halves, which wouldn't be a big deal if the half cut hadn't knocked most of the seeds off!

Best bagel sandwiches in the north bay. Love the staff. Hardest workers I've ever seen

It was my first visit. I won't go back. Unfortunately, service was bad, more likely rude.

$6 for stale bagel and cream cheese. Used to be such a good place and now it sucks. Staff are also really quiet and barely acknowledge you

The staff is rude. They won't correct an order once made. They'll forget your drinks and refuse to make them. Never going back there

Macadamia nut milk is my favorite! It just simply enhances the flavor. I'm a huge Ube fan and they…read morehave this delicious Ube frappe that has no caffeine in it which is just so perfect for the days I just can't do it. Of course I sub it with macadamia nut milk and that just makes it all so much more worthwhile! Yumm... I once tried Ube frappe with one shot of decaf espresso and oh myy it was perfect. Ube latte is super delicious too. And the other drink that I tried was the creme brulee bonbon, that was pretty great. I love the ambiance, there's a few outdoor seats and it's also attached to other offices in the building so there's a room next to it where you can wait. It's quite busy and the staff are super nice, it's definitely worth the wait for a wonderful coffee which is not as bad. I'm gonna try the matcha next but I'm obsessed with the macadamia nut milk! Truly haha

We stopped in on a Saturday morning around 9:00 AM expecting a quick coffee before heading to our…read morenext stop. There was only one person ahead of us and a couple of people waiting, so it initially seemed like perfect timing. The space itself is clean and welcoming, and the staff were friendly. We've been here before and had a decent experience, which is why we chose to return. Unfortunately, the biggest issue this time was efficiency. Despite having 4 staff members working, the wait time kept growing instead of shrinking. What started as a couple of people waiting turned into several, and at one point someone even gave up and asked for a simple drip coffee just to leave faster. It ultimately took about 30 minutes to receive a single drink. While waiting, it became clear that workflow and prioritization were lacking. At one point, staff paused drink preparation to rearrange and move equipment, even as more customers, including a soccer team, arrived. It created a frustrating experience, especially for those just looking for a quick coffee. It's disappointing because we chose to stop here instead of going to Starbucks, hoping to support a local spot we'd enjoyed before. While the quality and atmosphere are there, the lack of efficiency makes it difficult to justify returning.

This was my first time visiting the new location for Lawson Bakery in Morgan Hill, and I have to…read moresay they absolutely did not disappoint. We drove over 20 miles just to pick up a birthday cake for my son because we have been longtime customers ever since their older location on the other side of Morgan Hill. Their cakes have always been amazing, full of flavor, fresh, moist, and very reasonably priced for the quality you get. While we were there, I decided to try their coffee and I believe the espresso was Tilly brand, and wow it was excellent. I also had one of their cinnamon rolls and it was honestly to die for. Soft, fresh, full of flavor, and one of the best pastries I've had in a long time. What really made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was super nice, polite, welcoming, and very professional. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Their boss should definitely give them a raise because great customer service like that is hard to find nowadays. If you are ever in the Morgan Hill area and looking for amazing pastries, great coffee, or a delicious birthday cake, look no further. Highly recommend Lawson Bakery! I would have took pictures, but my battery was dead. But next time for sure , I will

Lawson's Bakery in Morgan Hill was definitely busy, which is expected for Mother's Day weekend. It…read morewas super loud inside and they told us the wait would be about 20 minutes, but we ended up waiting well over that. Besides the longer wait time, the experience was still good overall. The ladies working there were very nice and helpful. I ordered 8 breakfast burritos for my family and we sat outside on the patio. When we first sat down, the table was dirty and I accidentally got water on myself, but one of the girls quickly came outside and cleaned the table for us right away, which I appreciated. She even had the chef come sweep the area, so they definitely tried to make things right and were attentive to customer service. The patio area was actually really nice with plenty of seating and a family-friendly atmosphere. They even had games outside for kids like Connect 4 and Legos, which was a nice touch for families waiting or eating outside. The inside was packed, but the outdoor seating made it more enjoyable. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, country potatoes, scallions, and cheddar cheese in a whole wheat tortilla. The food was delicious and the burritos were packed with ingredients and very filling. Overall, despite the long wait and noise level, I'd still come back because the staff was kind and the food was worth it.

I wasn't sure what else was around in the bakery department, so my husband drove me down town to see what we could find. I spotted GVA and ran in right before closing as a last-resort, hoping they had something I could bring as a dessert to a friend's house. I caught the cashier while trying to get a quick bite, but she hurried to help (even with her mouth full, which I appreciated, being in a rush myself). She was very friendly and I got the chocolate chip cookies and biscottis I was hoping to find. The cookies were impressively big (my daughter told me they were as big as her head). We cut each cookie into 6 pieces so everyone could try the different types: chocolate chip, chocolate chocolate, and oatmeal, and then almond and chocolate biscottis. Everyone was happy with the cookie assortment! Thank you for being open when no one else was GVA! You saved the day~

Dear GVA Cafe, why did I only come to find out how good your coffee was after so many years?!…read more From the building outside, GVA is completely unsuspecting but they do say not to judge a book by its cover. On one fine fall day heading to the Morgan Hill Farmer's Market on a Saturday morning, I decided to try GVA's Ube Matcha Latte (iced and extra sweet) via their mobile app. Inside, there's seating available, complimentary water, and cozy vibes all around. They were cranking out drinks left and right, and doing it all with a smile. My drink was definitely a 100/10 because it was that good! They nailed the matcha latte ratio to ube. Even some gals at the Farmer's Market were intrigued by my drink because of its beautiful colors and of course it looked good too! My husband also found his favorite drink here, a white hot chocolate. I am so looking forward to coming back here to try out other drinks, food, and even gelato!
