I've only been here for breakfast but have enjoyed everything I've tried. I really like that they have a variety of sandwiches and not just egg, meat and cheese. The bagels are pretty good but as other posters have said, they run out early of a lot of flavors. I like the fuel and Mexican breakfast bagels. My husband always gets bacon, egg and cheese. They have a good lunch menu that I hope to give a try sooner than later. read more

I came for breakfast today before my friend and I drove to Watsonville from San Jose. This place is filthy. the walls are dirty gross and had big flies flying around and an open mayonnaise container on a bottom shelf. Cashier lady was hella rude, no kindness whatsoever. Food was overall decent but nothing special. I ordered a pick up order and was not greeted or helped at all upon arrival and workers seemed indifferent. My main complaint was that the avocado and sprouts in my sandwich were pretty brown and the bagel seemed almost stale and hard. I guess it's a good thing that we have a bagel place in downtown MH. Friendly owners. Good selections but I've walked in there at 7am and there's very little variety to choose from. This place should go belly up soon. I went in there this morning and ordered two breakfast sandwiches a coffee and an orange juice and the lady rang it up and it was $19 even. No tax. I thought it was kind of expensive so I said $19? And she rudely repeated to me yeah breakfast at $10 these days a person! The bagel sandwich that I got was $6.25, The bagel sandwich that my friend got was $5.00, coffee $2.50. So the water down Minute Maid orange juice she charged me $5.25 for. I ordered a Turkey and bacon croissant through "door dash" and I will tell you this is got to be one of the worst sandwich!! It was totally over cooked so the croissant was not even like a regular croissant. There was so much grease, and it was just disgusting...My stomach feels sick...You might be safe if you order a bagel and then just don't let them prepare it, prepare it yourself!! This place is alright. The blueberry crunch bagel is the best! The people here are friendly. The bagel sandwiches are pretty basic. I got the one with egg bacon and cheese. Not a while lot of flavor but still good. If you want avocado you have to pay and extra $1. To me that seems a little steep for a couple small slices of avocado. We stumbled upon this bagel shop this morning randomly using yelp to help us find somewhere for a quick breakfast and though it seemed promising I'm very sorry to say we are not impressed. I ordered the lox with tomatoes, capers and onions on a salt bagel and I just can't describe it as anything more than bland and kind of gross. The capers were strange and I did not feel good after eating the sandwich. My bf got the egg omelette bagel sandwich with sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms on an asiago bagel. He said he couldn't even taste the mushrooms and that the bagel was nothing special. Overall I vote that it isn't that this place is horrible it just simply isn't good either, it's just an average place to get a sandwich if you're in the area. My bf says he would return if he was in the area but I would have to say I would not. We are very picky bagel shop eaters though because we have had the best. We both agree that if they cook your egg in the microwave instead of a skillet it just isn't any good! I will say that the lady that helped us was friendly and welcoming. read more

The only reason they get a star is for the convenient location. First time in was looking over the extensive menu trying to decide what to get. Wasn't that busy, but the two grouchy people behind the counter seemed really put out. I felt unwelcomed and rushed. Ended up ordering an Everything w/cream cheese that came out overly toasted (aka burnt) with barely enough cream cheese for both sides. Nobody talks about plan C. It's probably because you don't really need one. If both plan A and plan B don't work, is plan C even worth doing? My plan C is probably just doing whatever I was doing before I thought of plan A and B. I guess a better plan C would be to think of a new plan A and B because the first ones didn't work out. I'm assuming that's why they only have majors and minors in college. It'd be weird if colleges had a major (plan A), a minor (plan B), and a mini (plan C). Then people would have to spend a majority of their time working on their major and a minuscule amount of time working on their mini. There's a reason colleges don't have minis, they don't want students wasting their time on that. So after I left college, I felt that I should only have two plans, an A and B. Main Street Bagels was able to change my outlook on plan C. It's a great bagel shop, but I usually give more attention to other bagel shops in Morgan Hill. Daily Bagel will always be my plan A and Donuts and Things is my plan B, but what happens when my plans don't go according to plan? It's not like I'm just not going to eat bagels that day. One day Daily Bagels was closed and I didn't have any cash on me for Donuts & Things. Luckily, Main Street Bagels came to the rescue and showed me the value of having a plan C. read more

Great place! These ladies know how to make bagels the proper way... BOIL them first and THEN bake them. I'm not a New Yorker, but there is a reason they make bagels this way in New York.. they have a bit of crunch on the outside and taste great! I came here today because my son is craving for bagels. i ordered 1 plain bagel with cream cheese and 2 asiago with honey almond. We went home and my son started eating his bagel and he noticed his bagel have plain cream cheese. I went back and spoke with the lady in the counter and started yelling at me" I didn't get your order!!!" I said well somebody did because you guys are three here. I just left like 10mins ago. I went to explained what I ordered and started yelling at me again there's no honey almond it's honey walnut. Then I said, then she should have corrected me or clarified my order rather than putting plain cream cheese. she then looked at my bag and said I'm not gonna replace the other bagel bcoz it's not here I said it's ok my son started with it. She then called another staff at the back Instead of apologizing she starred at me like she's going to eat me angry, sharp, she said "see I didn't take your order". I haven't been so humiliated for returning food not to mention there are a lot of people waiting for their order. I don't know if she's the owner or manager but she's so rude, not accommodating, bad customer service. I didn't get any apologies instead I got yelled at. I'm surprise they're still in this business with the kind of customer service they have. Please don't patronize this bagel shop. Billy & Kim are both so friendly! I am new to the area and live a couple blocks away from the daily bagel and I'm so glad I finally made time to go in. Their bagel sandwich options are delicious! I ordered "The fuel" on what Billy called "Super Sesame" (anything bagel) and it was soooo good!! He also gave me samples of both Thai Tea and Vietnamese coffee and I ended ordering a Vietnamese coffee! Will definitely be going back!!! read more

First and last time here. I ordered one of their milk teas with boba. The guy asked me if I wanted boba, I said yes. He said okay and went to the back. I heard a microwave being opened and closed, I was hoping he didn't microwave old boba from the day prior. Took a while for the drink to come out, when it did I was horrified. The boba was definitely microwaved, you could tell straight off the bat by the way it looked and tasted. He also charged me for a medium when I said I wanted a small. $6 for a very poorly made boba milk tea. Never going back lol. read more
