The two people working there were very kind to my unruly dog that barked every time someone tried to enter the door and even tried to give him a treat. The food was great and everything is house-made. I had the Thai salad with peanut dressing and a cup of tortilla soup that was recommended by someone working there. It was my first time going so the I didn't know the portion sizes would be so large (at least for me) and allowed me to finish the rest of my drive strong and not worried about dinner any time soon. I can't believe I haven't left a review for Teresa's. I go here twice a week for the berry salads, assorted soups including Pozole, and the weekly specials. The triple chocolate chip cookies are my downfall. So delicious and worth bringing several home. Coffee is made by the drip method. Assorted beverages are located in the refrigerator unit along with other yummy desserts all baked on site. Some say the food portions are small, but they are plenty and tasty. There is a covered patio for eating during warm days. The food prices won't break the budget. read more

Went in today with my son for some cookies! We picked a few different things, not a fan of the m&m's and the expresso one. Seem dry and normal. Not overly sweet tho. We did however go pretty late so they probably had them out for a few hours. The mix of chocolate chip cookies and the banana white chocolate was still good! We had them probably 4-6 hrs after baked since we went after school about 3pm, but still good. Warm it for 15 sec in the microwave if you want it moist. For $1.50 it's decent pricing. I'm looking forward to trying different things, pricing is fair so we can try different items without paying an arm and a leg. Had the lemon cheesecake too. Not so sweet with a lemon tart cream on top. It's good and a full sliced is a good amount to fill you up. I'm looking forward to trying different things. Went to have lunch with a friend and inadvertently dumped almost an entire bowl of totilla soup on my lap (jacket, shirt, pants, floor). The wait staff and owner offered no assistance in helping me get cleaned up or to clean the mess on the table and floor, we cleaned it ourselves. They clearly witnessed what happened and made zero effort to help, didn't even offer a replacement bowl of soup. Super disappointed with their lack of care for their customers, didn't even ask if I was ok as I could've been burned by the hot soup. If this is the lack of caring they show when something like this happens, this is the last time I'll eat there. And yes, I'll be telling eveyone I know. Just tried this little restaurant for the first time. Had the weekly special of pulled pork sliders with baked beans and coleslaw. My husband had the brisket sandwich with baked beans and coleslaw. Food was delicious! Flavors were on point. Best meal we've had in a long time! Just a simple, no fuss place with great food. And the homemade Rice Krispy treats were yummy! Service was pleasant. The on-line menu suggests hearty and flavorful dishes, which in hindsight, we should have been cautious of due to the use of stock photos. In reality though, they are bland with little imagination. Had lunch with another mom and all our kids. The service (by the owner no less,) was friendly and prompt. Had the Beef Birria Quesa Tacos and Tostada. The food was very fresh. Flavors on these were subtle/mild, which is a nice change from restaurants that over-salt or drench in heavy sauces or hot spice. LOVED the option of hot dog or Mac and cheese for the kids!!! VERY reasonable prices. (Allowed me and my mom friend a chance to eat out with the kids and not break the bank.) Portions are on the small side, but the price reflects that. It's getting busy. The food is homemade and wonderful. The dog group goes twice La week and outside in the ample patio there a heater to use to keep us. Warm. If you don't see something asked a lot of the desserts are in the refrigerator where the drinks are located. Most of the time there are cookies or other baked desserts in the oven. Heard about this GEM of a cafe from social media and hometown newspaper. My first order from Teresa's was for pickup on 11/22/23 and included the Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings which included a slice of pie for each (2 plates for hubby & I) plus a brisket sandwich, pork tostada, cinnamon rolls, and extra baked rolls. WOW!!! VERY satisfied with the on time service and well packaged for takeout; food was very delicious with hearty portions; the bakery items were addicting. Will definitely recommend to everyone. Food, service, value! Teresa is a triple threat. Stopped by after a hike to try some cookies. The staff was super accommodating provided my dog with a bowl of water and a glass for me while I waited. Had to get a second Italian Cherry cookie, because it was that good. Cinnamon bun was not overly sweet. And just because I was curious to see if the non-baked good were as good I tried a coney dog. Yes, hotdog, chili, cheese and onions. Did not disappoint- tasty and well balanced. Not sure what some other reviewers were talking about but everything I ate was flavorful. Was pleasantly surprised to find out that Teresa's had recently opened right around the corner from my work! While the menu and portions are a bit smaller, the quality and taste of the food is excellent (seems like they have really focused on making the items on the menu awesome). Furthermore, the service and presentation of the food is great. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who informed me that all (or most all? Last Saturday, late morning, my wife and I were looking for a place to eat lunch before my granddaughter soccer game. Online we came across this place. It is a small place that was very friendly with great food. As we were waiting for our order, we noticed the dessert selection. They said they were all made fresh. So we have tried coming earlier in the week but they were closed due to water heater issues. We came in and the person who works there seemed really nervous. We ordered a springerle cookie ($3.50), ginger cookie ($1.50), snickerdoodle ($1.50) and peanut toffee piece (70cents). The total Altidore was $8.09 which seems a little pricey. The springerle cookie Definitely wasn't worth $3.50. It was really hard and I don't know how long it was sitting there for because people on Facebook had posted pictures a week or two prior. I actually looked up the cookie and it says they're good weeks after baking. If you like anise or black licorice and hard cookies then you might like it. The regular cookies seemed very pricey at $1.50 apiece. Honestly I would stick with Tristan's in Gilroy for two dollars you get a cookie five times the size for $2. I was told the snickerdoodles taste like a Safeway cookie. My daughter said the ginger cookie, which is the same as a molasses cookie was tasty just small. read more

We live right down the street so finally decide to try it. first of all we asked for ice water and was told only room temperature water. I ordered the cuban stew which was very blaw and a very small portion very pricey I had to come home and eat left overs. I was expecting more , place was empty we ordered a brisket sandwich was dry I had the Toscana zuppa soup was a little thick and the breadstick was something that was not homemade it the tea that I ordered the lady was not sure of what was in it after the advertisement that I read said that they do specialty on Indian teas freshly ground she didn't know what to say when I asked her about what the flavors were and they didn't have very many desserts only a couple of cookies that she had just made and rice krispie treats nothing else so it was a little upset might try it again in a few weeks but my overall rating on this is only three. read more

Best place to stop by for a delicious lunch or dinner. Excellent service and cozy ambiance. My kid's favorite dishes include the Mac and cheese and potato soup. Best birria tacos and meat tostadas. Got to try it all especially the desserts and cookies, personal favorites are the springerle cookies (which have the perfect crunch and, unbelievably, chewy ratio) and the snickerdoodles which can never be left behind.
