Top choice for dining in hurricane!! We came here for dinner and enjoyed the burgers made with local grass fed beef never frozen. They were really big and delicious served with home potatoes or home made soup from the wonderful chef. We loved the personal friendly service so much we came back for breakfast the next morning for steak and eggs and perfectly poached eggs over crab cakes covered in the best red bell pepper sauce I've ever had. The owner is very friendly and was kind enough to offer tourists helpful insight on local hiking and attractions. I would recommend this cafe 100%. You won't be disappointed. We were looking for someplace to eat that was relatively close to Zion, that was family-friendly, and that was local. After seeing the reviews, we thought we'd try Main Street, but were concerned that it may be "Hurricane good" instead of really good. Our party tried a ton of different options - chicken fettuccine, crab cakes, the California club, hamburgers, waffles, and the Cajun chicken sandwich - and every single item was delicious. They were quick to serve us, and while it was more crowded than I would have liked, they were friendly and helpful. It was totally not what I expected. We were passing through Hurricane, UT and decided to look on Yelp for some suggestions to grab lunch. This place stood out so we decided to give it a try! First, I wonder how people know it is there because it isn't right along the other (very few of them) eateries or stores so thank goodness for Yelp! It looks really cute on the outside. Upon entering you can decide of you want to eat inside or outside. Outside is a cute little white picket fence and tables. It feels so welcoming like you are at a house of someone you know and are at a BBQ. You go to the counter and order then pay. The cashier was so friendly and willing to answer anything about the menu. The menu was not big and had just a few options. They do have a breakfast and lunch menu and we were there during lunch. After ordering and paying we went to our seats eagerly awaiting our food. I ordered a "BLT". The bacon was cooked up fresh and the veggies all washed and cut fresh. My man ordered a "Cheeseburger". They actually took a ground beef patty outside to a BBQ grill and grilled it! The smell was heaven! Each of our meals also came with a pickle spear and fresh made salsa and chips. The salsa wasn't good. I had high hopes but it had a very weird taste. The pickle spear was mushy. The BLT was delicious. It could have for sure had more bacon then it did since it cost almost $8 but I would eat it again and they cooked the bacon right. The fresh veggies always makes it better too! My mans Cheeseburger was huge! He ate every bite and loved it. Our total for all this plus 2 sodas (free refills) was $19.85. Not bad!! The floor was dirty and all the tables as well. We just cleaned it off ourselves the best we could. The cashier did come out towards the end of our meal and wipe off the other tables. As nice as the people were and the comfortable feel of the decor I would think they would keep it cleaner so when customers come in they have somewhere clean and ready for them to sit. What a sweet little reprieve this was from a cold, rainy hike in Zion. We stopped here for dinner before we turned into our Airbnb. A blonde lady with short hair took care of us and she was so sweet! She had a smile that lit up the room! My friend and I both had the Cajun chicken sandwich and it was delish! I also had the lentil soup and it was so tasty and warm! I'm obsessed with dessert so per her recommendation, I had the lemon pie and it was so good!! With real lemon curd between the layers and what tasted like real whipped cream. The gluten free wrap was good, it had a lot of hummus in it but no avocado (menu lists avocado as an ingredient). Overall good. My husband had the chicken caesar wrap, he liked it.
