Didn't try the ice cream but it looked amazing, tons of flavors that included vegan options. I got the cappuccino it was good just not hot enough. Service was great. The photo wall was amazing I loved it. Will be back to try ice cream.

Warning- CASH ONLY business. Not sure what the deal is in Connecticut but this is the second business we stopped at in 2 days that was cash only. I do understand small businesses not wanting to pay the credit card processing fees, but it's 2025 and there are other options to help serve the customers like The Square, etc. There is an ATM machine inside the shop too, but it charges a bank fee. Service was good, the ice cream was great and the S'more's cookie was delicious.

Cute little ice cream cafe with a large selection and varied flavors. I had two seasonal flavors ~ Extreme Chocolate and White Russian combined in a small cup. For $6, I felt like it was an appropriate serving size and cost. The staff were friendly and didn't hesitate when I asked to sample a few flavors. Tonight was my second visit and I'll probably be back for my last evening in Wethersfield.

Craved some ice cream after lunch, and found this place! Luckily, this has been on my bucket list of ice cream places to try in CT. I have never visited Old Wethersfield and found the town to be so cute! I loved seeing bikes every where. There was a line out the door, but the line moved very quickly. Workers were really friendly and allowed me and my party to sample ice creams prior to choosing! They carry traditional flavors, while also having a seasonal rotation which i love. I got the seasonal peanut butter pie flavor which was sooo delicious! I will definitely be making a trip back up here, maybe next time on my bike?

Awesome creamy and delicious ice cream. Atleast 20+ flavors ranging from the basics to a few more extreme choices. Tried the flight of ice cream for multiple flavors. You end up getting more ice cream for less with this sample $9 for for a flight vs $5 a scoop

Screaming with excitement for all these fall flavors! First time stopping by Main Street Creamery & Cafe, we were blown away by how many flavors of ice cream they had. They had a generous list of seasonal flavors that we tried the Pumpkin Cheesecake, Apple Caramel Crumb and White Russian. We also got a scoop of Grapenut. The ice creams were super flavorful, generous scoops, but we wished that the Pumpkin Cheesecake had cheesecake pieces in it. It happened to be a beautiful Saturday. Before we headed into the cafe, a group of bicyclists rolled up. It made the line fairly long and outside the building. The staff was super fast scooping those scoops! They finished the line in no time and we didn't have to wait too long. They had a board outside with the flavors for the day that helped us get an idea what flavors we wanted before we got inside. The area is super cute, an adorable little town to walk up and down, checking out the neighboring shops. We look forward to visiting again around the holiday season. Heard they have a delicious Eggnog ice cream that I will have to try for myself.

Could never get tired of this place! Old Wethersfield looks so awesome during October and it's so nice to walk around and check out all of the halloween/autumn themed deco. it's practically a mini-Halloweentown! I tried the Nerds Explosion and it was yummy! my friend enjoyed the Cookie Monster flavor. service was quick and staff was friendly (per usual).

Cute and quaint Ice cream shop on a quiet street. Seating inside and some benches outside. Beautiful house and premise. Lovely place to enjoy a treat. Kind staff. Abundance in flavors. Creamy ice cream texture. Loved my visit!

Cash or Venmo only FYI -- the ice cream is so delicious, and there are a ton of flavor updates day to day! The area surrounding the ice cream parlor is so quaint and charming; if you decide to leave the shop and explore the town, you will certainly be pleased!

Stop by after dinner and got 1 scoop of mint chip and 1 scoop of cookie dough. The ice cream was delicious and creamy. The whipped cream on the top was my FAV! If you're stopping by make sure you bring cash, but if you forget it's okay because they have an ATM and let you use Venmo to pay. Overall a top 5 ice cream spot in my book. Cons: I docked 1 star off because the bathroom was VERY dirty and there were no paper towels to dry off my hands.

One of CT's gems is this creamery & cafe in Old Wethersfield. They have rotating flavors and I can't seem to get enough. I most enjoy the cheesecake flavors. Last time they had strawberry and this time they had blueberry. I meant to take a quart home and I forgot. Hehehe. Be prepared to bring cash or pay by Venmo. There's seating outside and inside available. There's also ice cream for your pups and yes they are welcome in the store. They also serve hot & cold drinks apart from their creamery.

Still one of our favorite ice cream shops in the area! They use Praline's ice cream so you know you're gonna get good flavors. Love that they always rotate through different specials!! The PB Oreo is elusive and one of my favorites! They have great hours in the summer (10pm) so I love that we can get a late night fix! Staff is great and always helpful when you can't decide on flavors. They have pup cups too!

Our first visit ever and it just happened to be opening day for the season! Staff was so welcoming and friendly, greeting customers with a "welcome back!" Such a cute space but it must be mobbed in the summer! A cold night in March and the line was out the door! We were impressed with all the flavor choices and the size of the one scoop (which you can get two different flavors in the one scoop!). I tried PB swirl at the suggestion of the owner (I think) and campfire smores while hubs had black raspberry oreo and brownie chunk. Perfectly happy with our choices! While they don't make the ice cream in house, it is locally made in Wallingford. Would be more than happy to visit again!

We were sad to see the poor girl pretty much running the place by herself and it seemed she was very unhappy ( I dont blame her). It's absolutely loaded with graham cracker and chocolate chips which is my biggest critique with other places. The flavor of the graham cracker base was so strong too which is very hard to find. My fiancé got the 'cow tracks' which was also FILLED with mini peanut butter cups, chocolate chunks and peanut butter. I'm not even a huge peanut butter person but it was so delicious I kept asking for bites. I went to their original locations years ago and remember it being good but it was truly great! I don't think it's a secret this place is on the pricey side but you can TASTE why. It's very very hard to find great ice cream and they've nailed it. Might have to go again next weekend!

Only to find out that they did not have the cheesecake custard that I was hoping for which threw off my whole game plan. The girl who served me was nice and seemed sympathetic when I asked about the Cheesecake custard, so I got over it and ended up ordering the cantaloupe Italian ice and watermelon, Italian ice and a small cup, which was still good, but felt as if a lot of the flavors advertised online or not actually available at the location. Not a fan of the parking and set up of the location especially if you're going at night and having to walk where cars are driving through to get back to your car in the parking lot.

I popped in because the parking lot was mostly empty. It wasn't particularly busy in the cafe either. There were two small groups ahead of me in line. I order my food and black iced coffee to go. I received my food. It even had to be heated. And I had to wait 10 minutes for them to give me my black iced coffee. Even though there are only two or three people waiting in the drink area. And that was after I said something. So who knows how long it would have taken. This isn't because of lack of effort. The baristas were doing things. They're making lots of drinks. But it's not clear for whom. They finish the drinks and they don't call people's names. Maybe they're for to go orders? I understand that restaurants need to make choices about how they run things. All I can say is, that it's not a good experience to get all of your food and you have to wait for a black iced coffee (a drink that takes very minimal effort) for 10 minutes. Even though you're one of only a few people in the drink area. I'm not going to change my review score. But these experiences definitely affect how often I visit.

"She got muffins for sons, she got cornbread too Sweet rolls…read moreand jelly, boys I'm really tellin' you She had the baker shop boogie It's the nicest thing in town" (Willie Nix) We had a wonderful visit to Bake Market today and walked out with a ton of high-quality stuff for under $39 before tax. Our haul included a big tray of eggplant parmesan ($11.99), a small container of chicken salad ($7.99), a big container of Street Corn Salad ($11.99), a serving of Mango Pineapple Bread ($2.95) and Coconut Zucchini Bread ($2.95), and an Everything Biscuit (just $1.49). Bake Market has refrigerated and freezer cases on the walls with entrees and pastas and sauces and salads and desserts. It reminded me of the Pasta Vita store we used to visit in Avon. We split the chicken salad for lunch on Wednesday and enjoyed it very much, it was heavy on diced chicken and light enough on the diced celery and mayo that it was very hearty and not overrepresented by the rest. We decided to split the Everything Biscuit with lunch and I really liked the texture and savory taste of the everything spice. We split the Street Corn salad for Friday dinner, and it was a big portion of sliced Romaine, diced bacon, sliced radishes, roasted corn, tortilla strips, and grated Cotija cheese. It was very good; the lettuce was super fresh with plenty of bacon and corn. We split the Mango Pineapple Bread for dessert and that was excellent too. It was dense, sweet, full of flavor, and quite wonderful. The Coconut Zucchini Bread was so-so. I didn't think it had much of a flavor, and besides the blandness it was incredibly messy with shredded coconut everywhere. Our Bake Market sampling ended with their Eggplant Parmesan. It was a massive 2-lb tray that cost just $11.99. And how can I NOT mention that containers of fresh pasta AND sauce were included! We made four servings out of it. The eggplant parm was made out of a very thick single slab of breaded/fried unpeeled eggplant, and not the multiple layers of thin slices stacked up lasagna-style you customarily see. It had plenty of sauce and plenty of cheese, but how was the eggplant itself? I gotta tell you, when I saw that thick slab, my radar went up because I had a feeling it would be rubbery, tough, and unappetizing. But my doubts were short-lived after my first bite. It was delicious and tender and full of flavor without a hint of grease. Honestly, it was one of the best representations of eggplant I've had in a while. So, there you have it, a nearly perfect score on a variety of foods, and a very satisfactory $39 haul that scored high on quality and value.

Naturally, I sprinted here after seeing on social media they started selling the viral crookie…read more(cookie croissant) and it was SO worth it. I didn't know what to expect, but it was delicious -- the perfect mesh of flaky and doughy textures with the slight warmth was divine. I also saw they had pistachio matcha lattes so I decided to try one. It was surprisingly pretty tasty despite the color not being a very deep green. They also offer several samples, which I was excited about, but I was disappointed because they were all salty -- even the zucchini bread that I expected to be more neutral/sweet. The bagels were also very flat. Maybe their sweets just happen to be better?
