    Iced French Toast Latte
    Devyn L.

I have been to Sweet B Cafe twice now, and I am in love. I have only stuck to lattes so far, but their food/pastries do look good, too. Both times I went, I couldn't decide what to order and ended up asking for a recommendation as the tiebreaker between two flavors. The two iced lattes I tried were the French toast and the strawberries & cream. Either could have leaned overly sweet, yet neither did. The syrups & whips were house-made, which really came across. Love that touch for sure, so appreciated and really makes a difference. That is usually the difference between a good coffee shop, and a great one. So friendly and warm. The inside of the cafe is cute and cozy. It's not a huge space, but very comfy. Excited to continue to support them and return many, many more times to come! Great place.

I've been wanting to try Sweet B for a long time.....So, I was really excited to finally stop by--especially since their February specials had just dropped. I ordered the Berry Sweet (strawberry latte with cheesecake cold foam, topped with graham crackers), but unfortunately the flavors didn't quite come through as advertised. The cheesecake cold foam was very minimal, and I only really tasted strawberry when sipping through the syrup at the bottom. On top of that, the overall vibe felt a bit off. When walking in, the interaction felt pretty dry and unwelcoming--not the warm, friendly energy that's usually expected at a café, especially one with such a cozy and inviting presence online? The experience just didn't quite match the warmth and care. I'm hoping this was an off day and that a future visit better reflects what they promote.

    December specials

I came across Sweet B cafe through Instagram. I run a food blog (Foodittudemood) and I had other foodie friends that I'm connected too rave about this spot. Once I saw how beautifully decorated for Christmas this cafe was and all the December specials I knew I couldn't resist . The Christmas trees hanging from the ceiling was so aesthetically pleasing as if you're in your own hallmark scene.i grew up in CT and all my family is still here but I visit often and am in town for the holidays . I tried their Santa cookie latte (I don't drink coffee so I asked if they could make it with chai instead and they said absolutely) love that! I tried their Swissmiss croissant and their famous Christmas tree crepe and let me tell you both dishes will melt in your mouth so effortlessly. The croissant is warm, buttery flaky and I believe seasoned in an everything bagel seasoning. Loaded with a generous amount of ham and Swiss cheese and will leave you wanting more . If you have a sweet tooth you'll love the Christmas crepe . It's filled with a raspberry jam a topped with an icing that is so delicious you'll just want to lick it right off !! I loved the presentation as well!! I went peak brunch /lunch time hours so I was afraid I wouldn't find a spot luckily I did after waiting a few minutes but I would highly recommend planning time to go accordingly. I already can't wait to step foot in here again . Highly recommend planning!!

We went to try Sweet B Café because they had Halloween themed drinks and food. The service is friendly and inviting in the ambience is a nicely decorated café. I got the Harry's butter beer, which was a butterscotch flavored soda along with a thick creamy butterscotch like cream on top. I also got the egg and cheese on an asiago bagel, which was very good .

I think I found my new favourite coffee shop ! They had great variety of coffee options at affordable prices, and a variety of pastries, breakfast and panini options for food. Super cozy spot located on Cromwell Ave in Rocky hill. It had a few seatead areas with a nice fire place inside to add an additional layer of coziness. And even a few seats outside to enjoy the nice weather Cute spot for a coffee date or catching up with friends . They also provide seasonal drink menu . I tried the trick or treat latte . Which was a peanut butter latte with vanilla cold foam topped with Reese's and chocolate drizzle ! And it was AMAZING !!! My husband got the Harry's butterbeer which is butterscotch cream soda topped with butterscotch vanilla cold foam ! Tasted like cream soda which he loved ! We also ordered the egg and cheese on a bagel ( I got the French toast bagel) the breakfast bagels are made fresh to order which was great , however the food was just okay . Overall 4/5 : great place for coffee with lots of options with seasonal menus. And lovely staff ! I will definitely be back to try more options on the menu !

This place is adorable! They were fully decked out for Valentine's Day and it was very cute. I had to try the seasonal specials so I got the Toasted Hearts iced latte and the Love Letter crepe. Whoa whoa whoa. The crepe was perfection! It wasn't overly sweet, the juice from the strawberries toned it down perfectly. The whipped cream on the toasted heart has little marshmallow hearts which is so cute! And it was just the right amount of sweet. Highly recommend this place, the employees were sweet, the seating area is great, and the drinks and food are awesome!

This cafe is adorable! Located in Rocky Hill, this cute cafe has themed seasonal beverages (pictured is an Easter peep latte). Plus they have food items here such as sandwiches, bagels and muffins for lunch/breakfast. The staff is always friendly. The one downside is that the inside is very small so there is limited seating. But overall a great spot

Met up with my sister for breakfast here to explore a bit since we're both fairly new to Connecticut . This is a cute cafe in a little shopping plaza. The bathroom was cute too! Plenty of seating. The crepes are delicious and the iced latte was tasty. I would definitely return!

I highly recommend checking this spot out! I came here right before they ended their Halloween/October Specials and I was so happy to try their Butter Beer. It was sooo damn good! I also love the vibe in here, it's warm, cozy, and smells so good I also decided to try their Apple Cider Bread which was incredibly soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. I was really impressed. And I was a bit hungry so I went for their Harvest Panini and I love the fresh apples in it - I didn't think I would be a fan of the apples but it complimented the turkey, bacon, and other ingredients so nicely! the staff was super friendly as well :)

For our Sunday escaped We decided to try a new place. Sweet B from Rocky Hill. Small and cozy, the fire place gives this place a warm welcome to anyone that walks in. Big variety of drinks. But in this case I took a star because I did not like the cappuccino ( coffee taste) . My dish however was very good, dulce de Leche crepe, I loved the real dulce de leche and the fruits gave it an extra flavor combination. My husband's cinnamon apple crepe looked very plain and doughy. Can apples perhaps? Overall . Good experience

This cafe is so cozy and cute, I love the baked goods display and the seasonal menu choices. And the staff is so kind and welcoming, they didn't get inpatient or rude when I asked them about their food and ingredients. Very helpful and friendly. I wish they had more dairy free options though.

Just came in for a coffee, it tasted great, they had lots of syrup options. The inside is small and cute, about 4 tables. I want to come back and try their food, it looks really good. Service was very quick.

Cute but small breakfast spot. I ordered bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel , salty turtle latte and a cheese danish. Food was good and coffee was strong. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely be back if in the area.

I definitely will be back to buy some pasta and sauce! The marketplace is so charming and has a lot to offer. We grabbed a Vietnamese coffee, a slice of the Basque cheesecake, and the Yuzu pineapple lemonade. Typically the lemonade also comes with coconut, but since they were out I added guava instead. It was so refreshing and perfect for this amazing weather that we've been having. We saved the cheesecake and coffee for the next morning, but the coffee was just as great as when I tried it and the cheesecake was so rich!

I found it Inside an ordinary looking strip mall. The coffee choices are pretty impressive, and their website made me chuckle when I saw them ask viewers to "Drop the orange and pink branded cup ;-) - There is a better way to start your morning, power your day, and sip on a little sunshine". I passed on their lineup of Cappuccino, Lattes, Espressos, Americanos, Macchiato, Cold Brews, Vietnamese, Cuban, And Con Panna, because all I wanted was a regular coffee, I went with their Deep Roast version known as CAFÉ HABANA, an espresso bean blend from Guatemala, Brazil, and Nicaragua. It was excellent, a yummy dark roast coffee with plenty of taste to it. Now seriously, what is a morning coffee without an accompanying bakery treat. They had a tempting variety of empanadas, croissants, pastries, and it was a tough decision before I put my money down on a muffin-like asparagus cheese frittata. It was decadently great. While I was waiting for my order, I looked around and saw quite a bit of prepared food (all prepared from scratch in house) for take-out. They have a lunch menu and a great looking Italian themed catering menu with Manicotti, Hand Stuffed Shells, Beef Lasagna, Three Cheese Lasagna, Four Cheese Mac & Cheese, and Eggplant Torta. Your shopping and browsing experience will also include sightings of canned goods, assorted groceries and baked goods. For all of these reasons, I was very impressed with my stop at Ani's, and I bet you'll be too.

The meeting was exactly two minutes away from Bob's, so when I rolled into Bob's at a quarter to nine, saw a near empty dining room, I figured I'd have plenty of time to have a coffee, enjoy a bagel, and go through my meeting notes. Oops, that wasn't what happened. Truth be told, I made my meeting with seven minutes to spare. After I ordered, I waited for quite a while and looked up from my notes to see what was going on. I saw two servers and the manager engaged in a serious conversation about something. My server caught my eye and ran over to the kitchen, and I clearly heard her say something like "where's that egg on a bagel?". It was evident that the order hadn't even made its way to the kitchen yet. Eventually my breakfast sandwich did arrive, and the server offered some sort of an apology for the delay and communication breakdown. Now, as I said, Bob's was pretty empty today, so that made the service breakdown hard to understand. I certainly hope they do a better job on their busy weekends. Anyway, my server was pleasant, and I did appreciate her apology. The sandwich and coffee were fine, and the bill came to just $7. Will I be back next month? I doubt it.

Well, the website said they were New York bagels(from my ancestral home, The Bronx), so I thought they might be exceptionally good. Nope. First the good--the decaf Cappuccino was exceptional. Good espresso base, nice foam. It couldn't have been better. Now, about the bagel. Not much variety; only plain or everything. They asked if I wanted it "warmed." I suspected that meant "in a microwave" so I said if it was fresh, I didn't need it warmed. When the bagel arrived, it was ice cold. Must have been kept in a fridge, which doesn't help the taste or texture of baked goods. Because of that, it did not seem particularly fresh. It was certainly not like the New York bagels of my childhood, unless you compare it to prepackaged commercial bagels (like Lenders). I received my food. It even had to be heated. And I had to wait 10 minutes for them to give me my black iced coffee. Even though there are only two or three people waiting in the drink area. And that was after I said something. So who knows how long it would have taken. This isn't because of lack of effort. The baristas were doing things. They're making lots of drinks. But it's not clear for whom. They finish the drinks and they don't call people's names. Maybe they're for to go orders? I understand that restaurants need to make choices about how they run things. All I can say is, that it's not a good experience to get all of your food and you have to wait for a black iced coffee (a drink that takes very minimal effort) for 10 minutes.
