We placed our order and the waitress was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. She also informed us they work as a team so we can stop anyone when/if we need something. We started with the "Burning Bush" appetizer (crispy Brussel sprouts w/ lemon garlic aioli). YUM! They had just the right bite to them, and the glaze on them paired with the aioli was delicious! I remember going to one of their first places near the university of Texas in the end of the 70s. I'm glad I stopped in. Place was empty but for one other customer at about three in the afternoon. Nice fellow took my order. Prompt delivery of a medium size original sandwich. The bread is a real treat as are the variety of meats and I had it with onions and tomatoes and pretty much everything. Very filling. Brings back nice memories and I'm glad that I got the original and not any of the other choices.
