The ambiance inside is so much vibrant and better than what you see from the outside. Big indoor area with a nice bar and lots of tables. Service was good with the waiter always checking in and on top of things. Food was amazing! Seafood tower with oysters, clams and shrimp was the favorite of the table, very fresh and flavorful seafood. Our third time visiting, this time as a group of 8. Food is good overall, service remains horrendous. Our waiter did not come to take our order until a good 35-40 minutes after sitting, not a huge deal but a notable delay. What irritated me during dinner was we were asked if we'd like dessert while 2 people were still eating their meals, followed by the check immediately arriving- no etiquette. While paying and wrapping up the staff were directed to clear the table, this was obvious. For full drinks to be removed without asking is unacceptable. It was as if we weren't even sitting there the manner they were clearing. Again it was obvious the direction of the manager, they needed the table. Try being efficient to start instead of creating a rush at the end if overbooked and delayed. It's classier than putting a check on a table with people eating and rudely clearing drinks. A party of three went and everything delivered. The filet mignon and skirt steak were cooked perfectly--tender, flavorful, and exactly as ordered. The broiled seafood platter was outstanding, fresh and done just right. Started with the fried calamari, which was crispy and delicious. Sides didn't miss either--the creamed spinach was rich and spot on. Finished things off with a cappuccino and the brownie skillet, which was the perfect sweet ending. I love seafood, so I was excited to attend a birthday gathering at this seafood restaurant. The menu was overwhelming in the best way, so many great options to choose from! The restaurant was decorated for Christmas, which made it feel extra festive and cozy. The table service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. All the seafood dishes ordered by our group looked amazing, and the ones I tried were absolutely delicious. My own dish was fresh, light, and full of flavor, exactly what you want from seafood. The place had a modern motiff. It was cozy and comfortable. Our waitress was very accommodating and friendly. She assisted my wife when my wife got a stain from the sauce of her dish. Without batting an eye, she immediately went to get an extra napkin + some club soda. The food was delicious! I had the seafood Fra Díavilo. That was a huge portion. My wife and second son both had the Black Ink Pasta. My eldest son had the Whole Grilled Branzino while my daughter had the 16oz NY Strip. Everything was spot on. The flavors and seasoning were on point! The seafood was very fresh! The food expensive, though. But, IMHO, they're well worth it. Be prepared to spend at least $55 to $60 per person. My family has been here multiple times over the past several years, but we came again last night to celebrate 2 birthdays. As usual, the ambiance was great. Our waitress was excellent. She checked in on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. We had to ask for more dip (the middle one) for the bread because it had such an incredible depth of flavor. The food was solid. The sauce on my lobster ravioli was a bit too sweet for me and the chorizo with the clam bake was overly spicy/salty for my parents, but everything else turned out well. The tartufo and new graham cracker gelato were delicious. And as always, the giant erupting sparkler for the birthday guests is fun to experience. We went to Cuzin's for my father-in-law's 70th birthday dinner and it was a great restaurant. I had the lobster risotto as my entree and it was amazing. It had so many lobster chunks, plus the risotto was so creamy and fresh. It's pricey, but the quality and the portion size made it very worth it. As for appetizers, we got the Mediterranean mezze board, oysters, bacon slab, and the grilled vegetables for the table to share. Everything was really good, no notes, as the young kids say! We ordered an olive oil cake and they brought it out with a candle for him. It was great, not too sweet. Everyone loved their cocktails and I loved my mocktail! Service was great, too. Waitress was exceptional, she knocked it out of the park. Most of the food was very good, however lets talk about the $ 70 steak. Our waitress served the food and said please cut into the steak, they have been coming out a little undercooked lately. Sure enough, the medium ordered teak came out rare. While waiting for the steak to be cooked a little longer, the other four of us finished our dinners. It turns out, the waitress told them to recook a brand new one because she didn't like the looks of the one they were reheating and guess what? Strike two, raw again. At this point, I thought we were on an episode of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmare, unfortunately not. Finally, the reheated steak came out and guess what, overcooked. Unreal for a $ 70.00 steak. The poor waitress was terrific during this entire fiasco, however no General manage was ever seen. They always used to walk around here, so where was he? I see, on our way out he was at the bar talking to the head chef. Maybe, these two should see what the heck is going on in the kitchen. We usually go there about 6-10 times a year. At these prices, I just don't see it anymore. There are enough choices in the area at cheaper prices. What a shame. I'm very impressed with the takeout I was brought home as a surprise. He and his guest enjoyed a burger and steak, but I was brought steamed clams and a lobster roll. Loved every ounce of everything! He stated they thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. We will now bring the family to dine after looking at all the great pics on here! As for my food, the clams were super clean and sweet. The lobster roll was lemony with some great homemade potato chips I reheated in air fryer to crisp back up. I will definitely update with a more thorough review when we go all together. After years of passing by this restaurant, we finally decided to give it a shot and I was honestly disappointed. Cuzins is in a busy strip mall, which makes it hard to find parking in so you will most likely need to valet. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance, I think it is a good place for drinks since it has loud fun music but that is about it. The service was good, which helps. The food itself is what soured my experience. The mussels were sandy and chewy and the lobster mac n cheese was way too lemony, it didn't even taste like mac n cheese. The lemon sole was ok, the fish was slightly overcooked but the mashed potatoes were good. I truly think this place is very overpriced and not worth it. The Hugo spritz and pistachio gelato were the only highlights for me. Overall I would not return here, I think there is much better seafood closer to the shore. read more

This location had more space than New Brunswick which I liked because it was loud but we could still hear each other talk! And had a little more space around our table. The waiter was kind and expedient. The food however was just ok. The calamari is nothing special. The halibut and scallops were good, but not out of the park. A lot of risotto on the plates, and I'm my opinion the fish was a bit dry. I do like the red sauce that comes with the bread. The wine was decent. It Valentine's night and forget about getting a table so we were going to grab a drink at our favorite place and local restaurant Cuzins. It was packed and no seats at the bar. I took a shot and asked Robyn if they could squeeze in 2 for dinner. She replied sure honey give me 10 minutes. After 36 years of Valentine's dinners with my love I have never been in this situation. The only downside is it's VERY loud, so if you're going to want to carry on conversation, do it before or after you leave. After several years of waiting for the right occasion to drop dollars at Cuzin's, I finally got my shot and lemme tell you, it was worth every penny. I was pleasantly surprised to find that what you pay for is what you get: enormous portions that are very shareable, freshly cooked dishes that are expertly crafted and as decadent as you could wish. Bold, rich flavors are a part of every dish! I always roll my eyes whenever my wife orders a salad because why waste money on leaves right? And every time, my wife is right and I'm wrong The "Fried Goat Cheese Salad" is FANTASTIC, absolutely worth starting things off with. Never thought to fry goat cheese but now that's all I want. The pastas were the big winners for us. There was one that came with Seared Scallops and it was the perfect balance of tasting like the sea and having creamy sauce to swim in. The "Fettucine and Shrimp" is a classic and the "Lobster Mac" is an elevated experience compared to elsewhere. The "Fried Seafood Combo" seems like a basic thing to try but honestly it hits the spot so well. Just the right amount of seasoned breading, not too greasy, and plenty of variety in the combo. I cannot imagine one person eating this alone so it's the perfect appetizer to share...for a family of 10 I wasn't too crazy about the Branzino or the Crab Cakes. The format lacked much zestiness and the latter was more cake and less crab. The Halibut filet though a wonderfully juicy slab of fish that's worth a try. I'd say, the more people you bring the better. The restaurant has ample space for larger parties and brings the food out in a reasonable time. It's dimly lit but there are these neat mini table lamps at every setting. It makes for an altogether classy but accessible experience. It's both a blessing and a curse to have this less than 5 minutes away from my house. Pricey but perfect! read more

I had my 60th birthday party this past Saturday in the private room of Cuzzins Seafood and Clam bar in Marlboro. Julianna organized the entire party seamlessly. She is a gem. She checked in throughout the event to make sure everything was going as planned. The party was absolutely fabulous. I requested Isabella to be our server as she is quite fabulous friendly and proficient. We did not experience any hiccups during the Party. The food was sublime from the appetizers to the charcuterie boards to the salads then the entrees and finally to the desserts. To make a great thing even better, the entire party was gluten free for me as I have Celiac Disease. I would with absolute confidence recommend Cuzzins for a party and for lunch or dinner as well. Had a great lunch at Cuzin's. Our waiter Kurt was simply amazing. He was so great with his service and was so friendly. He made our lunch even better. Forgot to take most pictures of what we had but we did start with a Caesar salad and shrimp cocktail. Both were good, but I would say it's not a must order as far as the Caesar salad goes. The sandwich I had was so delicious. I had the halibut sandwich. Anytime I see halibut on a menu, I have to order it because it is my favorite fish. Never had it in a sandwich and it was simply amazing. It had roasted red peppers, & broccoli rabe on it. It was served so nice with a great order of french fries. I highly recommend it. When I go back, I will definitely order the sandwich again. It was that good. Kurt also recommended for my drink, The Scarlet Rita. It was delicious. They actually were some of the meatiest varieties we've had with a fresh, crisp, sweet after taste, we had to get two orders! Of all the dishes ordered everything was delicious and served with good presentation, however, of two crispy seafood combos, one had a little more salt pizazz than one in our party could palate, so we had to send it back. The manager came over and was more than accommodating with expediting an order of a new dish and deducted it off the bill. Our server Willy was energetic and on top of everything. The family and I got together to get Easter brunch. Reservations were set for 2pm. When I arrived I parked in the lot nearby. They also have complimentary valet parking. When I walked in, I was greeted. We were sat, and Dimitri was our server, and he was nice. For appetizers, we ordered the scallops and oysters. The scallops were delicious and had a little kick to it. For my meal, I got the shrimp scampi and substituted the rice for pasta. When it came out, it was really good. I loved the flavor! My dad enjoyed the fried seafood dish. My mom said the lobster she ordered wasn't great. She said it was a little tough, which was unfortunate. We also got drinks and dessert. I got the lemon drop martini, and my mom got the jalapeño margarita. I enjoyed my drink, and so did my mom. For dessert, we got the brownie skillet, and it was tasty.
