However $100 for a basic car wash is just excessive - I would also expect attention to detail (it wasn't busy) there are handprints all over, water drips & some spots like the cup holder area and driving wheel that was not even touched. I don't know what cleaning liquids they use for the inside but I can see like grease marks. Very disappointed. I will need to go over everything again. All I see on my windshield is a billion water spots and in the sun it's all glittery & blinding. Very upset I don't mind paying good $$ as long as there is quality provided. The location isn't easily obvious; there is a sign on the street, and then you have to go down a narrow alley, and end up in a backlot where there is a tiny shed in which the #blackowned owner/operator sits. It's a tiny loop in which your car gets vacuumed, hand washed, and cleaned. The quality was really very good, and I was impressed. I did have some sticker shock, but it seems the prices I was used to paying in Thousand Oaks aren't the same in the San Fernando Valley, so I just need to get used to these higher rates. Just found this place while looking for a good old fashioned hand car wash and this place, which is kind of hidden between apartment buildings did not disappoint. They did a great and professional work leaving my car squeaky clean They also did great with the wheels and tires, and the interior looked good too, except from the cup holders... If you want your car and the items inside it handled with care do not go to this car wash. I would give 0 stars but unfortunately Yelp doesn't let me. The business is located in a parking lot sharing the lot with a revolving business which made it difficult to maneuver my SUV in and out as there were people spread out their recyclables putting them away in bags. I had to get my car clean as that's the only time I had to do so this week. I went inside and the lady told me I have to pay $35 instead of the listed $30 price because I have an SUV, which was not listed anywhere and this price increase already sounded sketchy to me. After using this car wash, not only my car was not properly cleaned (there were spots on the outside and was not vacuumed properly) but my dashboard camera was knocked over and I was hanging by a thread. I told the lady about it and she called her boss. Fast forward 30 minutes later, and they came up with they "can't take responsibility for my items in the car" and they can't issue a refund or discount as "services" have been provided even though I was not satisfied with it. Then the lady told me the workers are very "careful" while doing their job. I was astonished about this statement as if they were careful my dash cam wouldn't have been knocked over. They obviously do not care about customer satisfaction and retention as they were not able to make my experience better. It's overpriced, there are only 2 workers washing your car so it takes a long time, they mishandle your items and then refuse to do anything about it. Worst customer service ever. I will never come back to this place and would not recommend it to anyone. read more

So I was looking for a quick car wash and found this place, it's a little hidden and doesn't look like a car wash but it is! So directions if you see a dead end street you are definitely at the right place! It gets packed super quick so I think that's the reason they rush everything! The customer service is honestly 10/10 everyone was a great, as far as my car wash I could've done this at home really for $30 the job I got was 4/10 I think they need a little more detail on that I came home and had to clean all my windows because they were bad. I mean it's a great place to go if you want your car to look semi clean cause you need to be somewhere etc but in my opinion for $30 I've gotten better car washes. Overall I was very happy with the Winnetka hand car wash. It was a little hard to find as it's on a street with mostly apartment buildings. They took a long time to wash my car and it looked fabulous from the outside. The inside needed some More vacuuming it and the windows need to be cleaned a little better. I pointed this out and they happily fixed it. My car looked very good and I was very happy but the best part is when I opened the door to my car there was $21 on my console. Honestly let me tell you this was probably one of the best car washes I have EVER had in my life. My car was pretty darn dirty to be honest with you and I had crumbs everywhere so I wasn't expecting my car to be as immaculate as it was. They had shop vacs so it was a better quality vacuum they used which was nice. My car was so dang clean I can't even press that issue enough. 40$ is a little on the pricier side for a car wash but they really did THAT good of a job. The price on the wall is $30, but I mentioned I wanted the interior wiped down so I was charged an additional $10? Probably got ripped off but it wasn't worth making a fuss over $10. I tipped an additional $5. Overall, the team worked very hard but it was a slightly better than mediocre job. There were several dirt spots that were not cleaned on the exterior, the roof was filthy, and they missed several door jams. Seems like it really matters which day to visit this place. Today I was surprised by a higher charge amount but it wasn't busy and figured they would take a little time to do a good job. I received the car and immediately noticed the center console had not been wiped down and also the passenger window sill. Not a huge deal so I asked for a damp rag and wiped it myself. After I drove off I noticed some small spots on the windshield, again no biggie and will clean it at home. When I looked up at my glass roof I could see sizable spots that where not washed off. I haven't checked every inch of my car for other issues and that's not what I'm about, this is just what was plainly simple to see. For the $45 spent I was hoping for a better experience. I was looking for a new car wash and stumbled on this one while doing an online search. It's a bit hidden, but I'm so glad to have found it. They charged $30 for my car and $40 for my family's mini van. The service was extremely quick and there is shaded seating provided to wait while the cars are being washed. My family and I were not disappointed with the result! We usually have to clean our cars after other car washes, as they do not usually do a good job. After coming back from this car wash, we did not have to touch the cars at all and they looked as if they had been detailed. My family and I will definitely be coming back soon! read more

Great value for a hand wash. Location blows, but that's part of why it's cheaper. The guy running it seems nice enough. It's gonna take a long time if they get busy because it is a small hand wash place, but again that's why the price is good. Save the best for last so here is my last comment about the place: it's the best hand wash place I've been to in a long time. I've been to other more private places, personal car wash companies that come to your pad and wash it, and your neighborhood car wash etc and this particular place is hands down the best one. The outside was dripping water, it has dirty spots all around the car, the did not clean the door frames or the tires and mudguards, the windows had water spots, plus the scratched the hood. People there are friendly (hence the 1 star), but in the end, what you meed the most is a good service. I won't be taking my car back. :( read more

I found this place on instagram and wanted to try their business and give an honest review. However this has probably been the 5th time i drive there and the place is closed. I have checked on yelp and on their social media and the hours posted suggested they should be open but every time i give them a shot the place is closed. In the last few days here in LA it has been raining. I drive a black car, so mud and dirt is very visible on black paint. Finally it has stopped raining and I thought I'd take it for a detail. I usually go to different place across town but today I thought I'd go here somewhere new. I get there im greeted I ask for pricing and right of the back for a detail interior exterior price is $200. I have gotten details before in other places for around $100 or so and they leave the car looking great and smelling great. That was not the case here. I'm exhausted and I negotiate a price for a full exterior detail with a simple clean up from interior for $100. I said ok. I paid right away and sat down then I noticed they looked a little short handed. 2 guys working on one car before me and mine just sitting there waiting. Finally one guy starts to vacuum the car. I'm about one hour 40 min waiting and I have to use restroom. Unfortunately they have none. I came back from jons across the street and a few moments later I get called to come see the car. I can see swirls on paint from the wax and other marks that should have been removed when they waxed the vehicle. I let them know and they did minor touch up. I let them know that they did not do a good job on the wax. I did not feel like going back and forth so I grabbed my keys and decided to go. As I was driving away I see my radio head display is still smudged and dusty. I asked for a towel so I can clean it. It was my first and last time there. I hope this message not only helps you as a consumer but also the business to improve. Been to this car wash a handful of times now, I was more than happy to give my money to a small business like this one compared to other local car washes however, the last time I took my car here will probably be the last. Went on a Saturday afternoon and they were already pretty busy, fine. I pulled into the line and the owner came out and told me to reverse into a parking spot adjacent to the line that was already forming and I would be next. Moments later another car pulls up and goes into the line that I was just in, expecting the owner to tell this customer the same thing he told me, reverse into a spot and that would then put him after me, that's not what happened. Immediately the car stays in line and I pull up right behind him. Now the owner walks over to my car and tells me that he put my car first before the car that he let cut in front of me. This also didn't happen as the entire hour and a half that I was waiting for my car, the car that cut in front of me was getting worked on while my car sat second. It was frustrating to see how the owner had handled this mishap and did not seem to care to make the overall situation right as it was his fault for letting this car cut in line and not being better at giving direction. So unfortunately, I won't be returning. He may have made one customer happy that day by being so attentive to but he lost another for the lack thereof. read more
