Our family of 5 has been coming here for 10 years. This office is inside a Mall and operates mall hours. Very convenient. I can always get an appointment in. The doctors are knowledgeable, never gave me a prescription that was too strong; the equipments are new, the selection of glasses are very nice, and the place is always spotless! But, we come back year after year because of Steve, Lorena, and the rest of the staff. They know their stuff, are patient to explain and outline what my insurance provided, and even recommended ways that we can save. They have a relaxed and friendly manner and put people at ease. I've been coming to this optometry place for about 2 years now. Every time I have been here the Doctors and the front desk girls have always been super nice. I live in Anaheim and I have always gone to a different location for eye check ups. I specifically decided to stay here because of the great customer service they have always provided. I understand that with the pandemic, there are a lot of things shifting/changing and new rules are being enforced. I get that but today when I called letting them know that I was running only 10 min late for my 4:30pm appointment, the girl who I spoke to was just plain simple rude. She told me, if you are more that 5 min we won't be able to take you. Most optometry places give at least a 10-15 min, just in case you're running late. I was little bothered with how she was responding. Thankfully we got to our appointment right on time! When we got here the front desk girl who I had spoken to, took my husband in and said they could only allow the patient in, which I totally understood. I came back outside and about 10 min later a friendly face came out, which was the doctor who has always been super nice. He told me let me just have someone leave and then you can come in. I told him, okay, thank you. I realized that my husband didn't have the card we normally pay with. I waited for someone to come out, respecting the rules they have in place. I thought I was okay to come in and as soon I came in this girl, who I've never seen before here, came out with such a bad face expression and told me you need to wait outside. We are not allowing people to come in just the patient. Just the way she spoke was degrading. I waited outside patiently and followed with the actually doctor had told me. I lowered my 5 star to 4 because of her. She needs to be a little patient with everyone! We are ALL still adjusting to the new regulations and bad attitudes are the last thing people need during these tough times. This optometry place is far from my place and after this experience, I am considering going to a different spot that is closer!! Overall the doctors here are super sweet and thorough! Like I said I've never had any issues until today. If you are close by i would totally recommend this spot. I just hope they speak to their personal and ask them to be little more nice when speaking to people! read more

Heard about this place and decided to check them out. Can't believe they carry everything... Even handcrafted wooden frame sunglasses. Love it! The customer service is superb. Quick and direct. Just like all the yelpers before me, I too had a great experience here. I was able to make an appointment for the next day, and conveniently schedule it for after work. The staff got me paperwork to fill out right away and I was in and out of the exam very efficiently. Dr. So did a great job explaining my prescription and eye condition to me, and went over my options in the perfect amount of detail. Came back the next week for a follow up and it was even more quick! Great customer service from the front office to the actual optometrist. My son loved how quick and painless the whole process was we were in and out quick with accurate exams. Came here during an eye emergency to buy a small contact lens plunger. Normally costs 3 dollars or less they sold it to me for 20 and refused to go down on the price. My eyes were red and in pain and they took advantage of me. Never do business with them. read more

I wanted new glasses and Googled around for places....and what to my wandering eyes should I see, but an Optometry place...at the mall of all things, that slightly filled me with a little glee! The mall, really? For something I was going to spend some serious money on? I wasn't expecting to drop some serious dough for glasses at a mall, but this place had 5 stars for a reason. I called and the staff who responded was friendly. I could already tell it would be a great experience from the phone call. I went in later and had a great time. Like, who seriously has a great time at the optometrist? I guess I do. The staff was welcoming, never hurried me, and everyone was more than helpful. I had all the crazy eye checkup stuff done including a map of my retinas...I think..ha with a FULL EDUCATED explanation--Good God the body is a delicate being. I ended up purchasing colored play contacts and a new pair of glasses who, complimentarily, people have said make them think of my Harley Quinn outfit from October. I'm super happy. I came here for a regular eye exam after getting new insurance and I am quite pleased with my experience. The doctor I saw was very friendly and straightforward and seemed to know her stuff. There were no high pressure sales like some other places I've seen. With my insurance, the pricing wasn't too bad, but I felt like there are some basics to the exam that are not really covered in the insurance rate. Most of the billing was pretty standard, but I don't remember getting a statement after paying, only a receipt for the card charge. I would have liked an itemized receipt since I felt like I paid a bit more than I should have for a regular exam that should have been covered by insurance. Overall I would recommend them and will be back again when it is time for my next exam. read more

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Deters for several years now. She is one of the most personable and courteous optometrists we've ever met. She works on Fridays and Saturdays, which is great for busy schedules. The office sends reminder emails each year with a link to make the appointment online and send a confirmation email afterwards so it makes everything super easy. The staff here are friendly and attentive, the store is clean, etc., all of which is important. But most importantly, the doctor here doesn't just write you a prescription based on what lenses help you see 'clearest'. He considers how you use your glasses, your age (as it pertains to how your vision might change in the forseeable future), your comfort, your history, and all the other factors that determine your 'best' prescription.
