The staff worked with us to order a bicycle with the exact specifications we were looking for. They ordered a Beaumont Cruiser and it was perfect! One interesting thing about the Beaumont is that it comes with a warranty but only if it's assembled by a certified bike shop. Luckily, Second Wind is certified and they assembled the bike for us. By the way, my bike is brand new. So this store not only sells used items but new ones too. And they can order items too. I'm looking forward to getting more sports items from here because it's such a nice business.

Staff here is also very friendly. They tend to only be at the register and aren't wandering around the store a ton, but I've also never really needed help finding things as the store is very well laid out and intuitive. Prices are fine. Nothing amazing, but they're better priced than other big box sporting good store chains so, once again, this is always our first stop for gear for our 3 growing kids & their youth sports gear. If you give them your email you'll get a weekly email with some good deals that often are catered to whatever sport season is about to start as well which I greatly appreciate. If not, chances are you'll get a coupon in the mail for 20% off or $5 off a purchase of $20 or more. So always keep an eye out for one of those if you know you are going to need to buy anything.

I had budgeted $60-$80 for a new pair, so I was surprised and a tad bit skeptical when I saw a perfect pair of Denali brand for just $30. Next day, I drove down, parked in the large lot and entered, being greeted cheerfully as soon as I walked in. I headed back to shoes, found the pair of Denali's on the wall and within a couple of minutes an employee asked how he could help. I noticed he had been assisting other customers and could hear his patient, professional and cheerful demeanor with each one. After asking for the shoe, he quickly popped off to the back and retrieved my size. Perfect fit and the reinforced toe, which my pointy little elf feet require, was as good as the online picture showed. SCORE! After peeking around the clearance racks, I grabbed some sports bras, further discounted another 25% off, a pocket bug spray for hikes and "after bite" as impulse purchases. Made my way back up to the front, to the pleasant young lady who initially greeted me, paid for my items and out the door I went. So nice to have this dependable business located so close. Big5 has been around my whole life and I have always found something needed at a great price and helpful employees. Instead of listening to the actual issue, they relied completely on the machine and offered no real solution or customer support. I understand policies exist, but when a product is obviously failing in real-world use, customers should be treated with more understanding and respect. Very disappointing experience. My sons got some vouchers for free baseball cards so we checked out this store as it was our…read moreneighborhood card shop. From the second we walked in, I was really surprised as how much they had inventory wise. They definitely had a little something for everyone. From jerseys to artwork to cards of all interests. They've got you covered. I haven't collected cards since maybe the early 90s so I don't know if the prices are good, but they seemed like they were on par with what you would be paying these days. Staff was...ok. It took awhile for one of the employees to acknowledge my sons who were patiently waiting to be helped. Instead they were focused on a group of of about 3 other people just chatting away about something or another. When they finally did address us, they seemed a bit confused by the vouchers, but eventually went in the back and brought out some 'pull night' packs for baseball and a few extra NBA cards for good measure. I appreciated that they gave out a little extra to some very appreciative kids. Parking is really the only major drawback. It's a small lot and there's only really one in and out. Be prepared to either wait a bit for a spot or finding street parking and walking.
