Mainstream is a friendly local bar & restaurant that provides many choices for everyone in the family. Last time I went, it looked like they even expanded, and had a small band playing as well! As far as food, the standard offerings are this best. Burgers, sandwiches, pasta, etc. the couple of more expensive dishes aren't their strength, in my opinion. read more

I have been coming to this bar every Thursday for the last 5 months and the service and food is amazing. It's our favorite place to go after a loss at our local softball league, our favorite server Brittany always cheers up wit her joyful attitude. We REALLY enjoyed our dinner last night here. First, our waitress Candice was so friendly and attentive, added a lot of enjoyment to our visit. My boyfriend had the French dip which he really liked, my daughter loved the chicken noodle soup and Ceaser salad and I had the nachos with the BBQ pulled pork, added. YUM!! They have these fun unique things like Fireball shooters are $3.50 when an engine from next doors firehouse goes out with sirens on. Part of the proceeds go to a special Firemans Fund. Very cool There are TV's everywhere in the very cozy bar area that have booths and high tables. If you'd prefer more of a private dining experience there is a separate dining room. Was there for breakfast today, not bad, very friendly staff, great food, large portions, fire station next door, a fire truck was deployed, the staff turns on the red flashing lights behind the bar and yells out "Fire Ball" so a few patrons at the bar do a shot of Fire Ball and so does the bar keep on duty at the time...... read more

I've been here a few times the past couple months; Each time giving it another shot. Although the menu is significantly better than the first, And the service is phenomenal each time, The lack of decor and personality is a total drag. The portions are little small for the price you pay.... But overall the food is decent. The recent NFL specials are fantastic so I would definitely recommend coming here for a couple games. The bartenders are full of life and have great senses of humor- Kate is awesome! I was really hoping that this would be a new spot for my boyfriend and I but if they don't liven this place up and put a little more effort into the decorations (and food) I think I might have to go elsewhere from now on. Nothing I will remember in the long term, but the eggs Florentine had tasty hollandaise sauce. Hash browns were different... not quite as crispy as expected. Hubby's bison burger was satisfactory. Plenty of dining room. Bar area looked nice and ample. Location is very convenient. Solid dining choice - a few decor tweaks (yank out the gross carpet) and this place could give a better ambience and overall experience. It had a bit a grungy diner food odor that wasn't particularly appetizing. Something different from other restaurants that just smelled a bit old or off. Nothing terrible. Just noticeable. Started off with chips and salsa, can't go wrong with that. I had the meat lasagna bowl, it was tasty. The menu tells you that it comes with mushrooms and spinach inside, which it does but it also has onions that they don't tell you about . I'd give them 3.5 stars (couldn't figure out how to do the half) It wasn't busy at all (Sunday night football time) so the service was good. They have over 13 tv's and free wifi. read more

It's very new, with little decorations around, but that's understandable. The bar area was pretty busy, which was a good sign of the place. We sat in the dinning area with the kids, and service was very friendly. The kids menu is on the bottom of the last page of the regular menu, not the activity sheet and crayons they give you; this was slightly harder to find than most other places, but they did have a good selection for kids. Their menu is pretty good, and I don't think they should add anything else to it. The food was excellent, and the breading on the chicken strips for the kids was awesome. The sandwich was pretty good, and the fish and chips was above par. My only two complaints is that our appetizer came out the same time with the main dishes, which is a no-no, and the fries were flimsy--like the ones you get from the freezer and put in the microwave. I prefer mine with more crunch. I'll definitely come back here! read more

Our party of four ordered at 6:45 PM and an hour later our meals had still not arrived. When we complained, the waitress and manager explained that they had a large party and the kitchen was backed up. In the restaurant business, shouldn't you have a plan for that kind of thing? We ended up having to take our food in carryout boxes in order to make our show, and the to-go order did not include utensils. To make matters worse the food was cafeteria quality at best. Slow service, incompetent management, and mediocre food. Would never return. read more

My wife wanted to try this new place on the spur of the moment. As we were heading over, I wasn't too thrilled as there were a few bad reviews for the place. We ordered a few appetizers: the meatballs, the sausage plate, and a flatbread pizza. Looking at the menu on their site, I don't see the first 2 appetizers, so they're still tinkering with the menu. The meatballs and sausage appetizers were way overpriced. Very small portions for the price. On top of that, they were just okay. The flatbread pizza wasn't what I expected. It was thick, instead of a thin. So it was a bit strange. The service was very friendly, but the water that my wife asked for multiple times never arrived. It was a Friday evening, and we sat in the bar area, so maybe our server was spread a little thin. Overall, I was not impressed. There are a few kinks for them to work out in the kitchen. Want to come back for Prime Rib Wednesdays and Saturdays. They down . I'll have to definitely try it out soon. Tonight we are trying the Steak and Shrimp and the Beef Short Ribs. And don't forget to use your Yelp 20% coupon on a regular entree. Not good on Specials. Very good value for the price. Only negative is I like to have gravy with my Mashed potatoes and beef. Open for dine-in! Great breakfast of green tea and eggs Benedict with hash browns. Many tables made unavailable so that diners are spaced out. No shakers (or anything) on the tables. If you ask for salt & pepper you will receive little paper packets. I so appreciate being able to sit inside to eat and watch the funny videos running up on tv screens next to the sports shows. Tried so hard to really make Mainstream our go to place. Stopped going for lunch and dinner as the food was disappointing. Went about 8 times for breakfast and service was rough. Walked out once due to no service and again gave one last try and sat at the bar for breakfast thinking that service would be better there. Sadly the bar tender took our drink order twice while the other 2 couples that sat after us had their drinks quite quickly! No thanks. I've learned my lesson. Flap jacks is good! Came with another couple on Thursday. For me it was Not a good experience. Fish and chips were very greasy and soggy. Asked for beer to be delivered when meal was brought. I enjoy my beer with the meal. We got our food, but no beer. So I started eating my meal waiting for the waiter to come by and bring my beer. Three minutes, four minutes, five minutes, seven, 10 minutes,. Nobody came to ask if everything was OK or if we needed anything. Could not flag down anyone because they were all busy serving other the tables. Finally flagged down another waitress and said I am waiting for my beer I need something to wash my food down with. She said OK. But she disappeared. I finally saw our waiter as he was walking past our table going to the new adjacent dining room with a tray full of refreshments for another party. I waved to him and I said to him I don't have a beer, or anything to wash down my food with. He said oh sorry that he got busy. Finally got my beer, but by then the food was cold and that was the end of that. Will not go back on a Thursday night. They need more staff. Can't blame staff for management's staffing problem. Ps, the other members of the party enjoyed their meal. My wife said, "you should never have asked your beer to be brought with the meal". She was right. read more
