I am considering legal actions, license complaints, litigation besides complaints with the government agencies, Governors office, Attorney general office, etc! Deceptive business practices. I have construction experience doing floors, windows, siding, kitchens,bathrooms etc. He gave me a BAIT AND SWITCH low price than after removing the old flooring, he hit me with a about 50% inflated price like deceptive business practices bait and switch scheming to defraud I feel. the new flooring creaks poor installation, etc. Floor has high and low spots like a wave. The workers excessively butchered chopped damage the moldings removing with a pry bar instead of trim removing tool then caulked damages sloppy unappealing work. They didn't use a stair tread gauge just cut and caulking the gaps which now pulling apart. Caulked everything because they didn't use the right tools. Promised a warranty and sent document twice without it and blamed the office. I knew the specific floor from suppliers in stock and I knew the price but he said they don't have it as he wanted to sell me his inflated priced flooring. He aggressively saying that if I didn't pay he was coming over which he did. I offered to pay with a credit card he refused, unless I paid about 5% additional and so he demanded a check on the spot when he gets to my house buzzing the gate several times for payment when I was offering to pay it over the phone with a credit card but he didn't want the credit card fee and I offered to send a check to him but he demanded it immediately. Uneven poor installation, damaged flooring planks, that I was left with tiny pieces in the closet, charged for carpet removal they left in front of house. He told me one brand of underlayment on estimate and switched to cheaper on install (bait and switch again like the price). installed a transition T molding without the metal track Instead they silicone the transition molding down onto the carpet. if I ever carpet removed, it will damage the wood and carpet flooring. This is the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a contractor. workers spoke no English I believe subcontractors maybe daylaborers. I had to use a translator app. Said would return to fix things never did. The floor makes cracking noise from poor installation. Before quoted me a labor price of $2985 and then he hit me with a inflated price of $4556.56 after they ripped up the old flooring on day of install, I feel deceptive business practices. Everything happened exactly how they said it would. They were available anytime we had a question and the work they did was absolutely beautiful, I would recommend this business to anybody who needs a flooring job done. They also sent in a cleaning crew of three people who clean my house afterwards better than it's ever been cleaned before at their expense extremely positive experience.

I requested a quote from yelp and in a few minutes Corey emailed me back letting me know he can assist with with my job. I liked the way he got in touch with me quick, during the rest of the day 4 more companies got in touch with me but I wanted to use Corey because he seemed honest and the price was fair. They have a flat rate service I choose for handyman for the day. David came to my home a few days prior to the job appointment day to look at the work to make sure it could be done in a day and agreed it could. He came on the agreed time ready to tackle the job. He also picked up the materials from home depot I needed to get the tiles done like the grout, this was a nice plus. The job started at 9am and he was done by 5pm. He came back the next day to set the grout as it needed a day to dry. Everything went smooth and we are happy with end result. I will be using David and Corey for future jobs, thanks guys!

I gave Shawn 2 days....I wondered if he would ever surface. I text his this morning thanking him for blowing me off and wasting my time. His reply "sorry, if it makes you feel any better, I would rather be working for you than this jerk off - I'm stuck in this job ". So whoever has Shawn at his house this week, that's how he feels about you ! Second response to my numerous texts "yeah you're right, I should have reached out". Yes Shawn, you should have reached out. PATHETIC Okay - so now Shawn has replied. Yes, he did message me - begging me to remove my review. Did I reply ? No I did not. I ignored his message , just like he ignored our appointment. Yes, we did set an appointment. Shawn came over to give me an estimate - as he was leaving he said "see you Wednesday morning". Why would he be apologizing if he didn't set an appointment up with me ? Seriously Shawn. Don't make things worse but lying. There is another review here that states you never showed up........ Was I "thrilled" the last time you were here? No I was not. You put house number on the front of my house. They were ridiculously crooked. You said it's the numbers. I said it's not Shawn, please come back and straighten them. You did come back. They are better, but still not straight. You did not use a level - for sure !! You replaced screen on my back patio door. The screen came loose about a week or so after - and I wasn't even living here at the time. So loose just from the wind. You replaced 4 porcelain tiles in my office. Those tiles were all much higher than the rest of the floor. I asked a few guys after and they all said - he put too much mud. He definitely didn't check to make sure it was even with the rest of the floor. You had a guy pressure clean my back patio. Yes a fine job. And you used your blower to blow a few leaves out of my gutter. And you cut some bushes for me and put them in the front yard for the garbage. When you came to give me the estimate, you said "you know I could have remodeled your whole house. Everything I see that you did here, I could have done and I told you - I will beat anyone's prices". Well I didn't call you for the major stuff to remodel because I was NOT thrilled the first time. I called you back again because I had another handyman who didn't show up. And another who couldn't do the work for 3 weeks. The things I trusted you with the second time were easy things. Moving furniture around. Putting shelves together for my garage. 2 smoke detectors. Easy things that didn't need to be straight or could have a problem in the future. Again I WARN before calling you. You only have yourself to be upset with. Not me for speaking the truth. We had a great experience with Doctor Flooring from start to finish…read more I found them through the Yelp request a quote and got several estimates from specialists based on describing the project by email. Nathalia came out to measure the areas to be refinished and provided a formal quote within a few hours. Doctor Flooring was one of the most competitive and also had good availability for turnaround. At the last minute, I also decided to get hardwood installed on the attic floor, that was previously carpeted. Roni and Nathalia came out at short notice to quote and recommended a new sub floor and could do that project before the sanding project downstairs. Roni and team worked the two projects in my house back to back, even on a Saturday. They took care to protect walls and clean up as they went. Nathalia was responsive to all my questions before the work started and during when we temporarily moved out for the sanding project. We are thrilled with the results and the experience overall, so much care and attention to detail. They have made our house look like new. Highly recommended.
