The original person who did my nails asked someone to put my polish on because she had a manicure to do. As the person was putting my polish on I could tell that he wasn't gonna be right. She kept telling me that it just needed another coat and the clear coat. I finally said just forget it and I will go somewhere else another day. I come here once a month to get my nails done, nothing crazy, just basic nail polish and have my hands and feet cleaned and looking pretty. Service: I requested the basic manicure and pedicure. My technician last time was Myah. She was amazing. She handled my hands and feet very gently and made sure the temperature was comfortable. More importantly, her work was flawless. The cuticles were so well removed, that the polish border was impeccable. She shaped the nails so beautifully- i'm not sure if the picture shows, but i asked for oval and she made sure the curvature was in alignment with the nature curve of my finger tip. This makes the hands look elegant. Her shaping, cleaning up around the nail, and paint job was probably the best i have seen in the atlanta area. I will definitely be requesting her again. The other technicians are also very good, i just had great company with myah and was very happy with her work. Environment: Serena and luxurious. The lights are dimmed but the soft music and overall atmosphere is very calming. Staff is all very helpful and nice. Cleanliness: They wear gloves. Overall the salon is very very clean. Thank you to the staff for such a great experience! I got my wedding nails done here and I loved it! I had wanted a design that they didn't have, but the technician looked at the picture I showed and spent so much time and effort to get my nails done as similar as possible to what I had wanted. I loved my SNS manicure. I wanted my ombré nails and they did them just the way I wanted them. The salon looks nice and they were very sanitary. The massage chairs for the pedicures are super comfy. I recommend getting the hot stone massage. This is going to be a semi long review... I went to this merchant on 6/8/24, it was the only salon nearby that I was able to go to at the time. During my visit, I had to literally as much as it breaks my heart, remind the technicians on how to do their jobs and how to do a proper cuticle treatment. I had water spilt on me and my cuticle was cut and they couldn't really stop the bleeding for a bit so I had paper towels on my finger for a majority of the session, they tried to up-charge me for services I never requested and now, my bank screwed me over with their claims department denying the claim because "Majestic Nails" refused to issue me a refund and says that I 'Authorized' the transaction... OF COURSE I DID! I hate being a "Karen" right now, but the fact that the $98.00 I spent... I can't ever get back, forgive me readers for getting personal, but at this current moment, I live paycheck-to-paycheck and yesterday I was denied my claim because "Majestic Nails" refused to issue me the refund I requested for receiving the worst service imaginable and I wouldn't want anyone else to be put in my position. I'm in my mid-late 20s and I have anxiety and a that time, I was still going through depression and I'm not using my conditions for any malicious reasons, I'm just stating it as is... I rarely ever "treat myself" because I'm still healing my self concept and after telling the staff at "Majestic Nails" repeatedly 'No I don't want this' or anything in the category of saying 'No'... they never EVER acknowledged it. Yesterday I drove home on an empty tank with the gas light on, literally running on fumes because my card was -$393.65. My bank wouldn't help me because they couldn't reverse anything or even reopen the claim and "Majestic Nails" simply tells me that they can't and won't do anything because I have to dispute it with the bank... just an endless and cruel loop, again and again and I am tired of it. Please if you value your sanity, do NOT go here to this nail salon because if they mess up, they will never take accountability and you will lose that hard earned money of yours forever and never get it back. read more

Messed up my gel polish manicure. It never set and remained wet even after curing. They took everything off- but charged me $20 for a regular manicure. I requested that they not charge me since I did not get the service I requested and my time was wasted. I only wanted to tip the manicurist for her time. They took 10% off and made me pay for a regular manicure against my wishes. Proceed with caution here. Beware poor quality!!! I just got back from a polish change. I pointed out a couple of spots on my right hand where she missed and didn't cover to the whole nail bed. Thought that would be enough for her to pay closer attention to the other hand. I was wrong. I don't like the idea that I had to double check her work. She's the professional. Im also realizing she must of used the base coat she had as the top coat because the top of the polish is bumpy and not smooth. Horrible job. This is my first time at this salon. I'm very confused as to why they have such high reviews, or maybe I just didn't go to the right nail tech. I made an appointment and went in for gel nails. I already had gel nails on from before and WOW this lady was SO rough with filing my nails down. My nails felt so raw and honestly just overall in pain I actually had to stop her midway on a nail. She also almost cut me with the electric shaver she was using. The next day, my nails felt sore and noticed my fingers is also visibly stripped/dry from the acetone or whatever solution she left my hand in! This has NEVER happened before to me at other salons. My friend and fellow Yelper Carolina M. told me about this place, because she had her makeup done here and had commented on how nice the spa was. We decided to check it out this weekend and get pedicures. Being a runner, my feet and legs take a beating so I was excited to get a spa pampering for my feet after my long run day. My daughter tagged along, because she loves to get her nails done. The owner and all the staff were super friendly and told us about their business. We were offered drinks, including wine, water, and sofa. The spa was very clean and soft music played in the background. The menu consisted of different choices for your nails, toes, and even had a kids menu. They also offer services for waxing, eye lashes, and they have gel and solar nails. We both decided on the deluxe package which included the hot stones and as an add on, we both got essential oils as well. The massage chairs here are fantastic. They were the best chairs I've ever sat in! They had arm massages too! There were so many buttons that honestly I couldn't really figure out how to work it to its fullest extent but it certainly felt really good. I felt very pampered. And they have the spa liners which is an absolute must for me these days. I decided on the peppermint oil for my essential oil and it tangled or a long time after the pedicure. I love that fresh tingly feeling on my legs and feet. My toes looked really good after I was done. The only drawback is that my friend and I weren't done at the same time. But I get they are a new business and probably not sure how to staff themselves yet. The owner was kind enough to give us both coupons for our next visit. I really think if you're in the mood to just relax and have a "me" day or even a day with your significant other or with a group of friends, this is a great way to spend an hour or two and invest in yourself. Did an SNS ombré for my nails. It has been 7 weeks and so far, no chip! I don't like long nails so I tend to file them so that it's easier for me to work with. At first, it was difficult to scratch myself as I was adjusting to thicker nails but as I file them, my ends were sharper so it became easier. They were very nice to me, did a sample color on my pinky and I didn't like it so they bought more colors out for me to choose from. My best friend was getting married and scheduled a nail appointment for her plus 3. They accommodated our party and had extra workers to speed up the services. Three of us had mani pedis (two were SNS dipping powder) and one of us had a mani. I cannot speak about their prices because I did not pay, but their services were high quality and fast. I had only been to one nail salon prior because I was once a nail blogger and have a surplus of nail polish at home...and that experience was an awful one. The woman working on my pedicure was gentle and my toes came out great! The woman working on my manicure was wonderful as well. Because of my background, I am quite picky when it comes to the quality of nail services. This was my first gel dipping powder experience and I loved the outcome! Some remnants of dipping powder has adhered to the skin around my nail so I needed to ask for that to be removed. My right thumb was unevenly buffed so the surface was bumpy--the rest were great. The manicure resulted in rock hard, firm, strong nails. I had maybe three MINISCULE chips, but had to get it removed at week four because of my nail growth. I came in yesterday evening for a pink and white fill-in and pedicure. I was told they didn't have that option available, and was suggested to try SNS nails. The nail tech, as well as the manager, were really nice so I went for it. The salon itself has a very nice interior. Definitely one of the better places around the area I have visited. The pedicure was done extremely well. Since it was my first time at the salon and first time doing SNS, I was extremely skeptical - especially because I requested ombre which is typically a more difficult style. However, I don't think the nail tech had the skills to do what I had requested. The nail shape came out pretty poorly(the main reason for 3 stars v. 4), and the ombre came out alright. It was somewhat disheartening because I had seen a review of a Pink and White ombre done at Majestic, which looked amazing. It was also bad timing because the salon was closed by the time I was finished, and how is one to tell such a nice person who just worked on your nails for almost 2 hours that it did not come out near your expectation. The manager made the experience quite delightful, and because of that I'll probably give this place another try - probably not close to closing time. We came late but we were still greeted with nothing but kindness and friendliness. We were helped with immediately and they even suggested some colors which I decided to go with. My 1st impression of Majestic Nail Bar is that the place is very clean. The atmosphere felt very warm and relaxing which was great. I was greeted immediately upon entering the door, with having a customer service background it was nice to see this at Majestic Nail Bar since most places hardly take the time to do so now as it's all about money. Even though I didn't have an appointment, the nail technician, Jean, was more than happy to do my nails with a smile. To top it off my nail technician, Jean, was very professional and made sure to do my nails accurately by taking her time even though my nails looked pretty rough from having it done before elsewhere. I didn't feel rushed like I usually get at other nail salons where they grind down my nails so thin that it hurts. Or try to save time and skip a step by only using the nail grinder or to completely re-do my nails by adding a brand new set of acrylics when all I needed was a fill. My nail technician, Jean, even did my cuticles and basically felt like I was getting a royal treatment, which I totally needed after a very long day. Prior to my service my nail technician, Jean, made sure the color pink was the pink that I wanted and did a color test on my nail if I wanted something a little pinker or lighter before proceeding, which I thought was a nice gesture that my voice actually mattered. Jean's reply is that I am the customer and I should get what I like and want since I'm paying for the service. Also she didn't try to upsell me anything I didn't need. Did recommend some things if I wanted to change my service next time and that is only if I want it. Now that in itself is beyond customer service and I will definitely be coming back to Majestic Nail Bar as it is now my forever nail salon I will be going to and can't wait to take my girls. I highly recommend this place if you are wanting to get the royal treatment without paying a fortune as well as getting high quality nails done professionally.
