I don't get my nails done regularly- but when I want to treat myself for a special event my first thought is always to stop by the Pink Cactus! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've found Mike to have such a positive and thoughtful presence. Not only does he have a good eye for attention to detail and an ability to do good work quickly, but he doesn't hesitate to give me advice when I'm undecided![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] These 2 recent images are from my visit yesterday, where I got a Short GelX Almond Cat-eye from Mike while my grandfather received the $50 level pedicure from Selina. He is definitely a character. Very nervous 80+ year old Spanish-speaking man that doesn't trust people, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]Selina was kind, patient, and way nicer than she needed to be.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is his second time getting a maintenance trim since he can no longer do it himself and he always leaves feeling like we were treated like royalty![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The front attendant V got us comfortably seated immediately and the complimentary drinks/ seasonal candy are always a nice touch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had some delicious hot tea & even got some cute photos showing off my new nails :) Btw the small cuts on my fingers are from my personal bad habit of pulling and ripping my cuticles. I find getting nails helps me when it's at my worst as I can no longer pick at my skin or nails! Mike was very careful to ensure I wasn't in any pain & completely changed the way I felt about my hands. I hope this set lasts a while! My previous pink coffin set from last year lasted almost full 3 weeks I believe (lots of washing and manual labor as a server). I'm hoping these last the same if not longer now that I work from home! I was also informed that owners changed, as the previous manager bought out the place... sad to see some friends go but I love the change in decor and overall space feels elevated in quality. Second appointment, I showed up on time and still waited two hours to be seen. I used to love this salon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff is always welcoming and kind but my last two visits have not been great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My last visit on Saturday has left me with sore and irritated cuticles, an uneven SNS with gaps, and I had to tell my pedicure technician to not cut/dig out my slightly ingrown toenails before they tried (which they started to - it's illegal for technicians to do this as it's considered a medical procedure). For $95 I feel like I shouldn't be having to apply antibiotic ointment to my toes and fingers. Maybe it's just my luck. I don't know. But sore and irritated cuticles makes me hesitant to return. The vibe is great. So maybe it is just my luck that I haven't gotten the best service. read more

When I went there with my mom for the first time, I had high expectations. They said to wait 20 minutes but they took us in after 35 minutes. But the girl who did my nails, was so careless and not friendly of my nail painting,that I did not like in the end, like it had bumps, opening, and came off after a few hours. Here on recommendation from my in-laws, the staff is friendly and the salon is very clean ( fantastic for a person with OCDs) - they have a wonderful selection of drinks too that are complimentary. Soo in love with their pedicures, next time I'm going to trying a set of nails too. I was looking around a new salon to be a regular to. So stumbled on Pink Cactus's IG page. Their work looks beautiful! Came here to give them a shot. So before my visit, I had inquired about pricing and was told basic sns w/ natural nails is $40. Okay reasonable and pretty standard. I typically get a hybrid of a square nail shape with narrow filing and round edges. I never tried any other shape or very familiar with other shapes aside from what I've seen online. So when I explained what the specifics of the shape I wanted was - the lady who did my nail offered an alternative - she said "ballerina". (Which this was not the case when I decided to Google it when I got home). And even if it was played off as "almond" - the nail shape I got was more of a short "stiletto" due to the pointy tip. Anyways - the lady failed to inform me shaping was another $5. For a shape I didn't originally asked for. She suggested it and didn't tell me it was extra! Then another hidden price that they failed to inform me was the $15 up charge for pink&white ombre. I have never been charged this high of a price. After tax, over $60 for this service with hidden fees, uneven filing, and mediocre ombré fade is outrageous. Also noticed other customers were offered drinks. I was not. That's very selective customer service. Not cool. Maybe I was given their most inexperienced tech. Disappointed since their work does look great online. read more

So happy I found this gem today! First off, Ivy is the best. She really took care of me even when they got busy and she still had to manage. I am pretty picky with how my nails turn out.. but the quality is impeccable. She gave me the best foot/leg massage ever and paid attention to detail, which is so important! And that's saying a lot considering I haven't found a place that I have liked yet in ATL. I would say this is at the top of my list right now! read more

Located right behind the Chik fil A on Moore Rd and PIB. This used to be an old nail salon that's been completed renovated with new decor, staff, and vibes. It's nicer and doesn't have your traditional nail salon feel. The pedicure and manicure chairs are nicer. The add nice touches like flowers in your soaking water bowl. I went in for a SNS removal and a traditional manicure. They have tons of Zoya colors which is pregnancy friendly. They do SNS, gel, and regular polish. Ivy mentioned a vegan gel polish that I might try next time. They have 20% off through December and gift card purchases. The quality of my manicure was great from Anna. She took her time and paid attention to detail. I manage to smudge a regular polish within minutes of leaving the salon, but the quick dry spray she used still has it looking nice four days later. The have a nice selection of teas, wine, and soft drinks for a relaxing evening experience. read more

My first visit, I eagerly gave this place 5 stars. I went for the second time today. I had such a bad experience and I should have just asked to stop the service and leave, but I hate confrontation. I am too embarrassed to post about everything I just sat through and said nothing about. The treatments I received were unsanitary. I am worried I got a nail bed infection. One toe is swelling up and turning red. I now see in the reviews that other customers have experienced uncleanliness here too. I spent good money to treat myself to a nice mani pedi, which I don't do often, because I felt like I deserved it. I was treated by the techs like I wasn't even worth the time it takes to pull out sanitized tools or a simple apology on their part for cutting me/ruthlessly digging nails into me to separate the SNS from my skin. read more

With everything going on and trying to get back in the swing of things, I need a place that was super "clean"! I was very impressed with not only the extra steps that the owner took (temp readings at walk in, appointment preferred, walk-in-one if no one there, etc). My husband and I went to get services (pedi for him SNS and pedi for me) and were please with the outcome as well. I called to check their availability and she said that we could come in as no one was there. While we were in the middle of our pedis another customer walked in and was politely asked to come back in about 45 minutes. We were the only 2 in the salon and we all had in our masks. It seems that if none of this was going, on you'd have an array of drink selections but we were still offered can drinks as well. This is not the typical "massage chair, whirlpool foot tub). It's a stationary cushioned chair with a pillow for minimal support (but not uncomfortable) and a round bowl for the pedis. They have a menu for the specific services (3 types of pedicures, which differ by massage time and scrubs). It's really a simplistic but chic design and very welcoming! Prices are also inline with the industry. Give it a shot if you're looking for clean, quality service! read more

This place is definitely a good one. Maybe a little pricey, but worth it. The atmosphere is perfection. Super classy. Simple and chic. The staff is friendly and fun. They were cleaning the whole time I was there. Regular pedicure includes a sugar scrub and 10 minute massage (but for real 10 minutes. They time it. Not like a promised 10 where they quit early). My massage was weak but that was totally my fault. I never tell people they can be firm. And I had a bruise on my leg so I think my gal was trying to be gentle. Big fan. The aesthetic and vibe are but even more importantly, their service was amazing! I've gone to several nail salons in the area ranging in prices but Pink Cactus was the perfect mix of high end feel with reasonable pricing. I was met with someone immediately at reception, had me wash my hands, and then had zero wait time despite them being seemingly business. "T" was my nail tech. He asked great questions and was super communicative. What impressed me the most was how detailed he was, with each individual nail, but also with making sure their was consistent length and quality of my nail set as a whole. They offered a variety of drinks, the facility is beautiful and they are very clean. They even masked the "nail salon smell" with fragrance. I observed that all of their techs and staff were incredibly professional. It is obvious that the owner/manager works hard to create a great atmosphere and a consistent standard of excellence. This has been my worst experience at this nail salon. I made an appointment for 4 and I was taken in as soon as I got there. I booked a simple mani and basic pedi. The gentleman that was my tech was working on my feet but no one was working on my hands. So I asked him and he asked me was I in a rush and then he asked for someone to help but it was evident that no one wanted to help based on the body language. She soaked my hands and went back to doing nothing across the room. Then when she came back she moved him out the way and painted my toes. No hot towels on my legs. Just rush me on through. I am usually offered something to drink but not this time. I don't know if Ivy is still the owner or not. The quality is not the same as in the past. I guess since I'm not a person that gets gel or S&S, my service is not as appreciated. Do better Pink Cactus, we all deserve great service on a consistent basis. read more

The pedi was SO NICE, the water was perfect and purple and there were little flower pedals and limes floating on the top! I stumbled upon this place while yelping for a last minute mani and pedi needed. I've visited my fair share of nail salons and have recently been looking for SNS since I prefer not to zap my fingers under the blue light. They do a fantastic job at filing down the nails to the shape I wanted (no slanted nails! Unless you're into that) and SNS was done well...no candy buttons on the nails. They do a great job on pedis as well...I've gotten both the normal pedi and gel on my feet, would def recommend the gel for longer lasting wear. Everyone here is pleasant to work with and although there are different levels of experience overall everyone is detail and service oriented. read more

Had a gel mani and one of the deluxe pedicures here and loved it! I was able to make a same day appt and was seated at the pedicure station as soon as I arrived. They made me the most amazing hot tea with loose tea leaves, a few slices of ginger and some honey. The pedicure was sooo nice- they let me soak in hot water with pretty dried flower petals first. I had a hot stone massage, a scrub, hot towel wraps and more. I walked out thoroughly relaxed and had really pretty nails and toes. The gel paint never peeled off either! That's saying a lot bc my gel usually does start to crack or chip after a while no matter where I go. I think this is one of the cutest nail salons I have ever visited-the aesthetic is adorable. The only teeny tiny bummer is the pedicure chairs are just normal chairs and I was surprised at how much I missed the typical bulky pedicure chairs with the massage feature.
