A friend bought her hot tub here so i made a visit. Although I asked lots of questions & explained exactly what I was looking for, the salesman had only one goal to make a sale. I had concerns about the cost of set up (which I learned on my own) and if my deck could accommodate ( I was told "sure, it can handle it" but when I asked around was told no matter what height deck was I should definitely have it reinforced). It's my own fault!! I should have read all their dismal reviews.. Don't be fooled by a couple good reviews.. They are clearly fakes.. This is a terrible company, that cares NOTHING about their customers once they collect the final payment. Bought a new Cal-Spa hot tub. I went there for that brand.. I will be contacting Cal-Spa to complain to them directly. This is a TERRIBLE dealer. Rude, condescending, ignorant, manager returned my calls and emails. Honestly if he spoke to me that way in person, I probably would have been arrested for what I would have done to him.. STAY CLEAR!! You have been warned!! Majestic pools is one of the worse companies that I ever had interaction with. Ryan and Mike are very rude and you are unable to explain your concerns to them because they talk over you. After I posted my experience with the company on the BBB they would not come to fix my hot tub that has been leaking off and on for over three years. Ryan used bribery and told me the only way they would come out to look at the hot tub after they charged me over 500.00 to fix it within a months time was to take my post down on the BBB. He also accused me of lying about my experience that I have had with the company which was very disappointing . The hot tub currently is still leaking after I spent over 500.00. If you are looking for a hot tub please seek out all options before you go with Majestic pool and spa. I have never been treated with such disrespect. Was having trouble with my heater that was installed by another provider. Majestic could not get staff out but had no problem facilitating a new purchase and immediate install. I should have stopped at that point. I decided to go with a new install and avoid the problematic heater I had. Staff showed up and go to work. It took about 4 hours for the install. They advised that I could not turn the pump on for 2-3 hours. At the 2 hour mark, I turned the pump on immediately noticed a leak due to their plumbing. It was not in the new plumbing but in the old plumbing that was modified by majestic. I called the shop and was met with people who were too busy to help. Funny how they are eager to take the phone call for payment but not when something went wrong. The staff ended up coming back at the end of the day and claimed I did something wrong and that they never touched it. I explained that they had modified the existing plumbing to incorporate the new heater. They left and no water leaks continued. UPDATE:::: now there is a gas leak that they are not calling me back about.I turned the gas off and went to the store in person and told them about the gas leak. No-one called me back. No-one has come to fix it. I called the local HVAC company and they came down and fixed the issue. I can't say that I would recommend Majestic. Poor, expensive service. read more

So I paid them to open our pool for the first time as we just bought the home. They showed up, took the tarp off, started the pumps, poured chemicals in my black pool and asked for money (close to $400). Pool was black for 10 days and I switched out the filters twice a day and spent another $350 on chemicals to get it clear enough to swim in. I called their office and they said yes that's what you get. This year I used a different pool company, they came in and cleaned the pool before starting the pumps and dumping the chemicals...the pool is a beautiful clear blue one day after. FAIR WARNING: You might be fortunate enough to have a good sales experience with this company but I promise that you will NOT have a good experience in the event that you need future service. Their focus is on making large, high-dollar sales and, should you need anything less - you can go pound salt. I've been calling the spa department, approximately once a month, for more than two years now in attempt to have my hot tub moved from one side of my house to the other. I've not received one return call. Yesterday, I called and the associate offered to transfer me to a manager or the owner. She transferred me to Tim. When I asked if he was the owner or a manager, he identified himself as a manager. (I see in BBB complaints that he's been identified as the owner. If this is factual, I'm even more horrified.) I let him know how many times I'd called and that I hadn't heard back from anyone. They have me hamstrung as no other company will move it because I didn't purchase it from them and I have been told that they don't have the right equipment. After arguing with me about the information I was given by other companies that he deemed incorrect, and as I was trying to explain this, he screamed at me and said that I was very rude and never to call again. Don't get it twisted: I was not rude. I was frustrated at the fact that I'd made multiple calls over more than two years and not one person had bothered to advise me that they weren't moving hot tubs. I was further frustrated by Tim's hostile, rude and abusive behavior. As evidenced by other complaints on BBB, this is clearly Tim's modus operandi. I shouldn't be surprised, though. About a year after we bought the hot tub, the pump had a problem and service came and picked it up. After they had it for more than four months, and I'd made multiple inquiries into status with no return call, and repeated requests to speak to the owner with no return call, I reached someone who told me that owner was there in the mornings. (In this call, she wouldn't say his hours out loud. I had to ask her, "Is he there in the evening?" and she would reply in a whisper "No.". Then I asked her "Is he there in the afternoon?" and should would reply in a whisper "No." Essentially, we played Q&A until I narrowed down the hours he was actually at the store. It was abundantly clear to me that she was afraid to give any information.) I went to the store one day as soon as it opened to speak with him and he - literally - ran away from me into the warehouse. I wanted my pump back and I followed him into the back but he was faster than me. He then sent another associate out and I heard him tell him to go "deal with that b*tch". Nice. The person he sent out told me and my husband that it was better for me to deal with him, not the owner, anyway. At least he's consistent in that he treats his employees AND customers equally awfully. From my own experience, and other customer reviews, I can see why Majestic isn't BBB accredited. read more

You would think they would be supplied with all the tools they would need for the job. From sales to the service guy that came and walked me through the entire operation of the hot tub, everyone was great. No pressure sales is what I like and he just showed us the spas and told us the prices. We already knew what we wanted so it was pretty quick. The delivery guys were very nice and made sure the hot tub was exactly where we wanted it. The service guy was out the next day to literally run through all the operations of the hot tub. They had a convincing sales pitch, and we were promised a pool in one years time. We patiently waited and it took 22 months. Recently was scheduled to have my pool opened 5/21, which was confirmed on 5/20 by Majestic. On 5/21 (the day of the appt), they called in the afternoon to say they could not make it and that they would be there on Monday 5/23. Although frustrating because we had waited around all day, I said that was fine. On that Monday, they "opened" the pool, but explained that they could not get the pool heater to work properly. They said they would have to send out another guy on Thursday 5/26 to fix the heater. Nobody showed up. We called to find out what time they might be coming and were greeted with extreme rudeness and unprofessionalism by not only the servicing representative but also the "owner". I was extremely frustrated and asked to speak to a manager and the "owner" refused to transfer me. The reason why this was confusing was because my called and when she spoke to the same woman and asked to speak to the manager the "owner" transferred her. The owner then called my wife "disrespectful". As someone in the service industry myself, this is NO WAY to handle upset customers. And before the "owner" replies to my review saying that I was rude on the phone, take that time and use it to train your employees on how to handle upset customers instead of belittling myself and my wife. This company is laughable and a bunch of crooks. You brag about being the only pool company open for 40+ years, but it is shocking you made it that far based on your service. If you are recommended this company by anyone, run away as fast as you can. UPDATE: I just got a call back from a different person (don't know why the "owner" wouldn't handle this situation) and they told me they would only come to my house to fix WHAT THEY PROMISED if I deleted my review. This was my honest and truthful experience with them and I am sure this is not the first time they have done this. I also received no apology for the way I was spoken to by the "owner". On November 6th, 2023 our fence was hit and severely damaged by one of their hot tub service men. We have a full video and multiple photos of the incident. Since that day I have called countless times to address this issue. I talked to a manager who told me that they'd be contacting me to set up a consult with a fencing company to come out and see the damage. This has not happened and I've received absolutely no contact since that conversation in November. Each time I call I'm told they have taken note of my call and I'll hear back when a manager comes in. Again, this hasn't happened. I went in looking for a hot tub and Majestic made the process so easy! They were super knowledgeable, nice, and answered all my questions! the process of purchasing the hot tub was super smooth. The delivery and set up process was also very smooth. The crew who showed up to deliver was so nice! The best part Is that they have someone come out for your first set up and explain how to maintain it. This is my first spa so having that was awesome, no need to figure anything out for myself. Purchased a spa that was "in stock" so we wouldn't have to wait extra time for it to come in. Paid in full. Was told someone would called in 4-4.5 weeks to schedule delivery. 5 weeks- no call and no spa. I call. No return phone call. 6 weeks- no call and no spa. I call. No return phone call. 7 weeks- no call and no spa. I call. No return phone call. 7 weeks & 2 days- I go into the store and ask what is the delivery date for the spa I have paid in full for and is now three weeks late? They state they don't have the schedulers log that they promise to have someone call me. (Insert eye roll here.) I said I've tried that already. I said I need to know when it will be delivered or I need a refund. The man I was speaking with said give me your credit card. I said okay and received a full refund right then and there. No apology. No attempt to save the sale. Our salesman did call the next day to say sorry and try to save the sale. I said okay when would it be delivered? He didn't have an answer. I said exactly. The correct decision was made here. Thanks anyway. We are sad we won't have a spa this year but not sad about not having to deal with this company any longer. read more

I paid for a pool opening. The crew only did 1/4 of the job and said they'd be back. They did not come back. I called four days later and was told they'd be out on Monday. I took off Monday so I could be home while they finished, but they did not come. I called the store to find out where they were and was told that I am "scheduled for later in the week." They did not show up later in the week so I called again, and the service manager gave me attitude before I even said anything. He told me that he would "look into it" and call me back. I have used them for a long time to manage my hot tub needs. I bought a cover lift from them last year. It uses a glue to attach it to the vinyl cover. I now got a new cover and judt need the glue. I have called 3 times to just find out what glue i need and if they sell it. Been over 2 weeks, still havent heard what glue is needed. They told me they would call me back twice and never did. Best i found out was that the wholesaler doesnt sell the glue and wouldnt tell them what kind of glue i need. So in short, thry dont help service the products they sell, and dont know have the knowledge needed to assist you if they wanted. DO NOT BUY THEIR FANCY EXPENSIVE COVER LIFT!!! read more

I finally got in contact with the manufacturer to find out what was happening and Tim the owner got mad because I went over his head and spoke with the President of Cal spa and is now refusing to give us our hot tub that we waited for 5 months for. If you are in the same position or have not gotten your tub we have already served him with papers from our attorney and contacted the attorney generals office which is investigating him now along with contacted our credit card company if you used them to try and get our money back. *Buyer Beware!!!* Went here looking to buy a new hot tub. Wanted to finance it. Was told all the models were on sale- the price tags reflected the sale. However when we began discussing how we would be paying- and that we wanted to finance we were told we would have to pay full price and not get the sale price. False advertising at its finest. A response from them "Hot tubs are marked with cash and finance prices. 60 month zero interest financing costs dealerships a large fee, which is why all the price tags have a cash price and finance price on each hot tub. We are sorry for any confusion!" They have a regular price with a slash through it and then sale price. There is no where in the store where it says this is finance price and this is the cash price. Along with that they also have select models that are even cheaper with 2017 model pricing with NO explanation on what price you are going to pay when you decide to purchase. When someone goes to purchase a car at a dealership and the price says $25,000, if you choose to finance you don't pay $35,000 because the finance cost is more for the store. They are losing customers by their illegal moves on how someone chooses to purchase something. Scam, scam scam! Buyer beware! read more

Stay clear!! Customer and repair service was terrible. Bought a new pump/motor from them for my built in pool for over $550. They installed it on a very rainy day, then told my wife (not an electrician) we had an electrical problem with wires sparking in the conduit and that the breaker kept tripping because of it. They said I needed an electrician. Called and spoke to them several times trying to understand why all of a sudden I had an electrical problem, as the breaker tripping had not been a problem previously. Finally called and had an electrician come out, fixed it in about a half hour, for $100 - Majestic wired the hot lead to ground causing the breaker to trip. THEY WIRED IT WRONG! IT WAS SPARKING BECAUSE IT WAS RAINING OUT!! When I called to tell them what the electrician had to do to fit it and asked for a $100 refund, the Service manager actually yelled at me that they weren't giving me back a dime. Unbelievable. I even had my electrician call (3 times) but they would not connect him with the Service Manager. Then I called and left his number for them to call and no one ever contacted him. So unsatisfied with this company. I WOULDN'T BUY CHLORINE TABLETS FROM THIS OUTFIT!! DISGRACEFUL! read more

Probably should have looked at the star rating before we purchased our hot tub from them. We went to the tent at the Erie County Fair. The salesman didn't ask our budget or what we were really looking for, just led us to one of their tubs. Which should have been our first red flag, that they were trying to get rid of it for some reason. It didn't have water in it at the fair, so we couldn't see how the jet power was. We specifically asked how the pressure is, and said we want something with really strong jets. They assured us this would be the best option. When you purchase a hot tub from them they have someone come out to show you how to use it. So they tell you to fill up the tub before the service person comes out. So we did, immediately noticed that there was the weakest jet pressure. We let the service guy come out and he said there wasn't anything wrong with it and that's how it is. There were two pressure options, the first you couldn't even tell they were on except for the noise. The second was so weak. You can see to the bottom of the tub when the highest pressure pump is on. We were not happy, so the next day we went to the store. The kid that came up to us to help looked about 18 and had no knowledge of hot tubs. We were asking him about the pumps and he said " I don't really know anything about hot tubs." We asked to speak to a manager, he said ok. Then he came back again without the manager and said let me talk to someone about that. We heard him talking to another sales person. He comes back and says we would have to pay a $1600 restocking fee even if we want to exchange for something more expensive. We said we aren't accepting that as an answer. We asked that the manager call us. Instead they said they will have a service person call us. He never called so I called there. He tried saying the same thing and said I'll have a salesperson call you after 10. I said I don't want to talk to a salesperson, I want a manager. He said the manager is on vacation . So I wait until 2pm, and still no call from the salesperson. So then I call again, I get a salesperson that says the only person that can help is the owner and he is on a business trip. I said "oh I heard he was on vacation" He said no, it's for business. This was a Tuesday and he said he won't be back in until Monday. He said he will talk to him first thing in the morning and get back to me. Once again I don't hear anything and it's Monday at 2:30pm. So I call, I get the same salesperson who says he spoke with the owner and since we put water in it, it is used. SO we would have to take a loss of $1600 towards the next tub. I said you people tell us to fill it up, and how will we know if we like it unless we fill it up to test the jets. He ended up saying he will have owner call me. I said that's who I wanted to talk to from the beginning. I'm not losing $1600 for putting water in my tub. When it came to me it wasn't wrapped up, it had dirt and water in it because it rained and they must not have covered it. Still haven't heard from the owner and doubt he will call me. I have been a customer for 13 years. They put my inground in and for 10 years were fantastic. Then something happened and for the last 3 years they have been horrible. They don't return phone calls and treat me like I'm dumb. I take care of my pool! I was shown how to clean it and deal with it from day one and do everything I was told by the book, so when I call them, I really NEED them, but they are so hard to deal with now. My opening the last two years has been non-existent. Young guys who barely know what they are doing - put in 2 bags of shock when my pool takes 4; didn't turn on my heater and I found out later it was corroded and wouldn't start. They are supposed to turn it on and check it out and didn't touch it or they would have easily found that. My salt generator wasn't set-up properly for my pool size and one of my jets inside came out hours after they left. They need a serious shake up in service. read more

We had them install a pool liner after the harsh Winter tore up the cover and ruined the liner we had. We got our estimate, pretty quickly and we gave a deposit , but after that, trying to get a scheduled date and communicating with the installer or service folks was terrible. You had to call early before they left for their daily jobs because no one else in the store new whether you were scheduled or not. Literally, tens of calls to reach someone with any information. And because you could only reach them early in the morning, if you missed them, which was often it would be days before we reached anyone. Once we did reach them and got scheduled we were treated like they didn't think we would pay. If looking for a company with good customer service, they're not it. The link error installation appears to be fine, although it just occurred so we'll see what time says. I wished we had taken back our deposit and went somewhere else. read more
