Great ramen spot in Daly City. Robust flavor, wonderful authentic spices & great prices. The plaza is jam packed and gets super busy so parking was tough but overall great experience.

My Friend And I Have Dinner At Majikku Ramen Today Thursday July 10,2025. As We Walk In The Restaurant Have Waited And Told Us To Choose A Table So Once Seated Have Given Us The Menu. As We Decided To Order A Bento Box And Waited For 15 to 20 Minutes Before Our Food Was Served But To My Surprised Everything Was Good And Savory. Service Was Super As Everytime My Hot Tea Reach The Bottom Of The Cup The Server Came To Fill Them Back As She Came Twice. The Location And Ambiance Of The Restaurant Was Perfectly Amazing.

Came here on a Sunday for lunch. Was seated right away. Place was half full of patrons enjoying their food. Servers were nice and courteous. Place was clean but bathrooms were outside of the restaurant in the mall. Ramen was served hot and the broth was tasty. Don't recall the names of the ramen bowls that we ordered. Very decent place for lunch. The chicken Kara age was fried to perfection as the chicken was juicy and tender on the inside while it was crunchy on the outside. Volcano roll was served warm, creamy and delicious.

Came here for to go order. Ordered 3 items bento box for lunch. It costs $23.95 price really went up for lunch. Salmon teriyaki was small. Tempura was so so not too crispy also only one shrimp. Pork Katsu was only good. After all portion was big enough for me.

We met a friend for lunch here on Sunday. Tons of choices on their menu: salads, ramen, udon, yakisoba, okonomiyaki, sashimi, bento boxes, curry, some sushi, tempura...etc. Dining area was fairly spacious and brightly lit. It seems they can accommodate large families of 6 without a problem. I ordered the black garlic ramen, BF ordered a bento box with beef teriyaki and 3 pc sashimi and our friend had a bento box with beef teriyaki and mackerel. Black garlic ramen - this was decent but not perfect. The egg was a bit overcooked so no jammy middle. Noodle texture was ok, but I prefer a chewier texture when noodles are blanched. This was slightly overcooked where noodles are soft. They do give a lot of toppings like bamboo shoots, black fungus, a few roasted garlic cloves and 2-3 pieces of pork. Black garlic flavor was good. The pork was pretty good too. If the noodles were chewier and with good texture, I would have rated it higher because the main star of this dish is the ramen. 3.5/5 Bento boxes - beef was more cooked than they would have liked. Sashimi sliced so thin. 3 slices which could have been 1 piece at another restaurant. Mackerel was ok. 3/5 The restaurant was bustling even after 2 pm. I think it's because they have a lot of choices on their menu that it can appease even picky eaters. Though we felt a few things were overcooked or they skimped. Sometimes when restaurants have an extensive menu, they lack focus and they don't perfect each dish. So it ends up there's a variety on the menu but mediocre results. Hopefully they take these reviews to heart to help bring in better ratings for the future.

I came here the other day on my lunch before I did my grocery shopping at Ranch 99. I've always noticed this place when I walked by, but was a bit hesitant because I never see this place packed with patrons. However, I went ahead and gave this place a go because I was craving some tempura and teriyaki beef. I ordered their two item Bento box and it came with a free item and I chose the potato croquette. Two item bento is $18.95 + $2 more for the beef. Upon seating, you are given water or tea and then a small bowl of pickled cabbage and carrots. I really enjoyed the sweetness and the tangy taste of rice vinegar. The croquette was fried to a golden brown, Tempura had a light batter that wasn't too heavy. Beef was tender and not over cooked. The servers were very attentive and topped off my tea often. I would recommend this place if you are ever in the area!

I came here with my mom and we were quickly seated and our orders were taken. Overall, the food was very flavorful and the curry was a bit spicy. The place had a very calm and peaceful setting with not to many people.

Sure, there are better ramen options, but nothing beats a bowl of black garlic ramen after shopping at the 99 Ranch Supermarket because I'm too tired to cook afterwards! For a strip mall joint, I believe it's decent. The food comes quick and the service is great. My offspring really likes the bento boxes too.

First time here since they opened 16 years ago. Their ramen was pretty solid. All the right flavors were there. A little sad to see that we were the only table at 7:30pm on a rainy Sunday. I'd go again.

This Ramen Restaurant is located in the Skyline Shopping Center. They share the parking lot with 99 Ranch Supermaket, Sheng Kee Bakery, East West Bank, Truedan, Doughnut shop, Liquor store, Dim Sum King, Porridge King, and some other businesses. There's plenty of parking on weekdays. However, it's a challenge to find parking on weekends. I called in and ordered three ramen to go. I ordered the chicken, seafood, and black garlic ramen. They were ready in 20 minutes. The chicken ramen was the least favor out of the three ramen that I ordered. The chicken was overcooked. It was rubbery and hard to chew. The broth was kind of salty. The seafood ramen was ok. They gave a good amount of seafood and the broth was bland. The black garlic ramen was the most flavorful ramen. It was very garlicky and can also taste the sasame oil. I definitely had better ramen elsewhere. However, I do appreciate them packing the three ramen carefully. The broth and the ramen with toppings were packed in different containers and they didn't spill.

The quality of bento box was disappointing. The food was barely served warm and lack taste. Won't come back anytime soon.

My favorite would be the deluxe chirashi box for the wide variety of sashimi and salmon sashimi is my absolute favorite. I love getting salmon sashimi from every sushi place and this place def has some of the better ones. Service: we've never actually sat down in the restaurant since it looks super small and the tables are really close to each other and they're also typically busy and full. We order to go either over delivery or pick up and I would say it's pretty reasonable timing although I would recommend ordering ahead of time if picking up.

The restaurant only has like two tables and small counter that seats like four people. The food however, has major flavor! That assorted sashimi rice bowl I had had plenty of premium cuts, large pieces, and some of the freshest fish that you could get in the Bay Area. They come with a miso soup and small salad as well. There are also other things on the menu that you can try like the jewel box and rolls, but I'll definitely be craving this bowl, and am wanting to come back very soon!

We happened to arrive during happy hour, which runs even on Sundays starting at 5 PM, and that definitely shaped our experience. We arrived around 6:30 PM and were seated immediately with our reservation. The restaurant wasn't very busy, which made for a relaxed dining experience. The space itself is beautiful and thoughtfully laid out. The tables are a little close together, but not enough to feel uncomfortable. One unexpected highlight was how clean everything was, including the restroom. It even had a bidet and a massage chair, which was a fun surprise. Service was friendly and welcoming throughout the meal. The staff was nice, although there were a couple moments where things felt slightly unpolished. At one point, a server nearly knocked the soy sauce off our small table while setting down dishes. Nothing spilled, but it stood out given how limited the table space felt once the food arrived. For food, we ordered the Lion King roll, several pieces of nigiri, and a few hand rolls. The nigiri was solid, and at the happy hour price of $2 per piece, it felt like a reasonable value. The Lion King roll was okay, but the cooked fish had a slightly fishy flavor that kept it from being a favorite. The hand rolls were also part of the happy hour menu at $8 each. While that sounds like a good deal, they were much smaller and more minimal than what I'd typically expect from a hand roll. My biggest hesitation is the pricing. During happy hour, the specialty rolls were around $18 for eight pieces, which is pretty standard for comparable sushi restaurants. Outside of happy hour, those same rolls jump to about $28, which feels extremely expensive for what you're getting. Happy hour made the meal feel reasonably priced, but I would have felt very differently paying full menu prices. Overall, I'm glad we finally gave Lion King a try. The atmosphere is pleasant, the restaurant is well kept, and the staff is friendly. However, the food didn't quite justify the regular pricing for me. If I came back, it would definitely be during happy hour.
