You still have to go to the front desk to register and to inform them of any vehicle details within 24 hours of checking in. Their front desk is open 9-5 so you can still get into your room outside of those hours before you register. Got a queen bed suite that came with a kitchen that included a full-sized fridge, dishwasher and microwave along with dishes for 4. TV with limited cable and a desk. Sofa is in the same room as the bed. Several cabinets/drawers in the wall where the iron/ironing board are kept. Lighting was odd, with different switches for different lights at the entrance and by the TV across the room. Bathroom was small with a tub I had to step up into and low water spray in the shower. The all-in-one washer/dryer didn't work. Washed 1 pair of pants and then the machine showed an error message stating there wasn't any water. Tried again two more times to wash these pants and it finally washed them all the way through the 2nd time, but it wouldn't dry them. When I spoke with the front desk, they told me water is needed to dry them and I could go to a different part of the hotel. Said no thanks because I was on my way out the door at the end of the trip. Free parking and free wifi. No restaurant or food/drink onsite. Parking garage has covered area. The binder in the room stated that there's a BBQ grill on the roof to use but would be required to clean it so didn't try.

The location almost can't be beat. It's just far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown but only a few blocks away. Beacon Hill Park is right across the street and tons of good coffee shops within walking distance (also on several major bus lines when you get tired of walking). We would definitely consider returning here if/when we come back to Victoria.

It is easy walking distance to the harbour, fisherman's wharf and downtown Victoria. Parking is $20.00 a day. When we arrived at 1:00 our room was not ready but they gave us a parking voucher so we were able to park our car and explore Victoria. The staff were all very friendly. There are coffee and newspapers available in the lobby and they have a nice little courtyard outside the lobby but there were only 2 tables available. The room was clean but our room was very small and backed onto the main road. I had trouble sleeping because of traffic late and night and early in the morning. The air conditioning unit was also very loud so getting a good nights sleep was difficult. The price was reasonable for high season in Victoria. If we stayed again we ask for a room that does not face the main street.

So convenient and check in was a breeze, they were able to give us a room at 11:30am when we arrived vs the normal check in time at 4pm. Customer service was excellent, the restaurant Fathom was nice as well. Clean facilities and daily parking was $34 per night. The hotel is located right next to the Parliament and Government st, everything was within walking distance. You wouldn't really need a car. We would love to stay here again in the future.

There is also an underground parking lot if a more secure spot is desired. The room itself was nice. The carpetting made it feel older than other modern hotels but it was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great as well. Shampoo/conditioner all-in-one was available but not body wash. Small bar soaps are also available. Despite feeling a bit old, the room was comfortable. Sound proofing is mediocre, other guests and birds outside can be heard quite easily. Bring ear plugs to sleep well. The hotel has complimentary breakfast served at 7am. I had to leave as it was opening but there seemed to be quite a selection of items at a quick glance.

For my trip to Victoria BC, my family of four booked a room here with two double beds. The booking comes with free breakfast and $10 daily parking to use for their parking lot and garage. Both check-in and check-out was fast and prompt, and the hotel itself is a drivable and even walkable distance to many notable places like Fisherman's Wharf, Pendray Tea House, the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, and downtown Victoria itself. As an added bonus, the Tour de Victoria also takes place near the streets leading to this hotel if you catch it at the right time. Parking is limited even at the hotel since spaces are pretty tight especially down in the garage area where some spaces are dangerously close to poles. This area ended up being the most convenient for us to use given how rainy one of the days was. When there's food, I also gotta review it though it isn't as big of a factor here compared to everything else. Breakfast here is buffet style, where you can grab anything from eggs and bacon, cereal, pastries, self-made waffles and drinks. They served two kinds of breakfast potatoes and those ended up being my favorites because of how full you can get off of them and to pace my hunger for certain situations like late waking-up times. Their dining hall is located near the lobby, and it also houses a small recreational room with a small shelf full of board and card games, and some sofas to relax at along with guest-only restrooms to utilize. As for the hotel rooms, they're relatively spacious and clean, while the bathrooms are brightly lit but a little cramped without much sink counter space for a lot of our stuff. We asked the front desk for some extra blankets, and they came up after a little bit with them, about 15 minutes. There is an AC unit in our room, though it took a really long time - even at its coldest setting - to make our place appropriately chilly for a good night's sleep. Compared to the other hotels in the surrounding area, this doesn't stand out in any way, but the service and quality more than make up for it, and we had an easier time navigating around the city knowing we could come here afterwards and rest. I'll consider booking another room here on a return trip to Victoria BC!

After seeing some of the reviews here I wish I'd taken some photos of our room. I don't think it…read morewas updated that recently but nonetheless, it was quite nice and spacious. We also saw our friends' room which was also very nice. I'll start with the only real con worth mentioning, which is that this property is about a 10-20 minute walk from town (depending on your destination). It's a lovely flat walk along the water. The trade off is a really lovely water-front location. But, it's something to consider. We had a lovely stay at the Inn at Laurel point. The hotel is situated right on a little peninsula so the views from everywhere are wonderful. You are right on a lovely walking path right on the water and you can watch the ferries, water taxies, sea planes and other harbor traffic right from your room. We found the beds comfy and the property was silent. We kept fairly irregular hours but even when we kept our do not disturb sign up until the mid afternoon, someone still stopped by to tidy up and make the bed. Service everywhere was on point. I will review the restaurants separately but wanted to mention that they do excellent in-house pastries and the restaurant is great. Make a point to hit both the coffee shop and the restaurant during yours stay.
