These guys are sadistic. The complex appears empty, maybe it is busy with a normal tourist season, or maybe people are aware of how bad it is here. The unit actually is nice, looks like the pictures on there website, but lacks basic amenities.

This place is quiet, always clean and well kept, never has there been a problem, everyone is friendly and respectful, and Alejandro is always a text or call away to fix any of your problems or answer questions! Maintenance team is wonderful but they are backed up and take a while to make it out. Admin isnt there regularly. They are there random days and times. Calling their office is directed to a robot operator and there is no way to directly contact someone. Just have to hope someone is in the office. When I first moved in, the upstairs apartments had carpet, which helped reduce noise. Since then, the carpet has been removed and replaced with hard flooring. Unfortunately, the staircase leading to the upstairs unit runs directly between the downstairs living room and bedroom, which means every step is loud and unavoidable. If you enjoy constant thumping, footsteps, and hearing your upstairs neighbors move around their apartment all day, then this might not bother you. But if you value any level of peace and quiet in your own home, this setup can become incredibly frustrating. What makes it worse is management's response. They are quick to say they "understand" the concern, but nothing actually gets done to address the issue. The responses feel more like deflection than real action. Just something to be aware of before signing a lease--especially if you're offered a downstairs unit.

We lived here for 2.5 years. We needed a place to live close to where I worked. Place seemed okay…read moreat first, but I noticed and brought up several safety issues to include people banging on my door multiple times in the middle of the night, contract maintenance people acting strangely while working near or in our unit, and other residents speeding down the hill (almost hitting my dog and I while walking on multiple occasions). All of my complaints were either not responded to or shrugged off. From a maintenance standpoint, their in-house team was decent, however instead of actually fixing issues, they preferred to simply cover things up. For example, no matter what we did, mold kept growing in our bathroom. When we reported in, they simply painted over it. The worst part of the experience was the move out process. As an active-duty military servicemember, I received last minute orders to move across the country. I know for a fact that after the military movers picked all of our personal belongings up that our unit was left extremely clean (with normal wear and tear). The process to dispute charges was frustrating. They would only contact me via email. I understand why, but it drew the process out for months when one phone call could have likely resolved everything much faster. For reference, we moved out in October, and here we are in January still going back and forth on charges I know we do not owe. At the beginning, this place looked safe and quiet, but we soon learned of all the issues. Find someplace else to live, I would 100% not recommend the Lexington Apartment Homes in Agoura Hills.

Literally had the most racist, weirdest experience trying to move in. did my application online…read more. got approved, paid for everything but when I went into the office to start my move in , the energy was terrible and everyone looked at me weird. (Iykyk) Then they proceeded to tell me I couldn't move in just yet they needed more documents from me, so I submitted everything, then they emailed me asking for my tax info then asked for my paystubs again after I already submitted them and literally just gave me the hardest time moving in. They stretched the time so long I just canceled my application and figured I could just use my $ to move somewhere else and wow they're still keeping my deposit as of this moment and told me they will mail me a check in about 3 weeks. I'm taking legal action. Worst experience trying to move in anywhere. And I'm calling corporate. Im not sure how they can literally move illegally and keep my $, but I'll be making a report everywhere!! And I don't care about them replying stating "my experience will be taken into consideration to improve future situations" they don't care. this place is straight racist. Don't move here.
