If you want bottles service for those very busy sold out shows, it's more for convenience of not having to go to the bar and to have a home base to sit if needed. Definitely not the VIP pretentious typical bottle service. Otherwise regular tickets are just as great! Were here to dance, right? Staff is always kind, welcoming and friendly. They also do have a job to do, so there are times they have to be firm and they are not about the riff raff. Respect them and the club and they will respect you. ​This is a club that remembers why we go out in the first place. This spot strips away all the superficial nonsense of the typical nightlife scene--there's no dress code to stress over and no "gatekeeper" energy. It's a rare, comfortable, no-frills atmosphere where a shared love for the music is the only thing that matters. ​This isn't a place to "be seen"; it's a space to be yourself. Whether you're a pro dancer or just vibrating in the corner, nobody is judging your style or your outfit. It's pure, unfiltered energy. We ended up paying the cover, called and of course they couldn't refund us claiming it's "final sale". Bartenders charged us $10 for a small water bottle and denied us free tap water. Like someone forgot to turn off the smoke machine when that trend ended 15 years ago. Even though my friend and I had the most clothes on of all the women in the whole place, we still got plenty of attention. We went on Valentine's weekend though, so pretty much everyone was already coupled. We only paid for our first round of drinks, and it was about $10 for two mixed drinks. The night turned out ok because we got to chill in the DJ booth, and he played reggaeton at my request and I got to dance and flirt with the one hot guy in the whole place. Overall, the people and staff were generous and accommodating. I won't be making this a regular spot, but If you're just looking for something different and are open and adventurous, pop in to check it out. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. Mars Hill is a killer band who plays anything from the Temptations to Prince and Sir Mix-a-Lot to Chris Stapleton. The female lead singer was the rocker, male lead singer was the country star, and the trumpet player, saxophonist, and trombonist each rapped! What?! The guitar player killed it as well. There's a small strip of "dance floor" space where plenty of people were dancing all night. There's reentry so feel free to come and go as you please. I believe you can also bring food from next door into the bar. There are over 10 small tables you can gather around for a close up of the band. Our server was really nice and quick. The only questionable thing was that we ordered four Old-Fashioned, one Shiner, and three shots totalling $120. I think that's pretty hefty for a casual joint. I heard they play jazz only on Mondays. They treated us like locals. We absolutely loved singing karaoke, and dancing. The crowd was not any single type. There were country people, bikes, goths, preps, old and young. We all mingled and having a blast. Drinks were priced just right and they held the COVID rules very well by only allowing 150 people into the bar. The place was at capacity quick, but way worth it. The venue has good sound quality with an open stage and room for standing. The show was fun and as always, the bands brought the energy and good vibes. They also hung out after the show to mingle and hang with us which is much appreciated. There's an outdoor area with seating for those who want to chill and drink. No covers are there so if it rains, good luck with the weather part. The bar area has your beer/spirits although it's pricy. Best to drink somewhere else before heading here unless you like spending $8 for a miller lite.
