Having Ace Self Storage as an option has helped us tremendously. We recently needed a temporary additional space after a water leak situation. The staff member who took care of us getting signed up for a new unit did a great job of explaining options and giving us the tour. Even though we know the property, the new space was in a different building and he took us there personally. They offer a move-in discount, which is makes for a fair value. Our goal is to reduce the need for extra storage entirely, but this may not happen while I'm still working full time.

The owner personally came to my home, inspected the area I wished to drop my box and where Pods had refused to drop, and the next day his driver came to my warehouse to drop off an empty container, waited while we loaded it which we had completed in under 30 minutes and then took my To Go Box to my home address where it sits now happily in my 75 foot long 1949 drive way by my garage:) The Driver could not have been more gracious, helpful and courteous. Just the day before the Pods driver had been disrespectful; pompous and uncooperative and thus I canceled service with them (they lost a 7 month service contract) and now happy as can be with To Go Box!:) There are many choices via these mobile storage boxes, as is I have tried three; Pack Rat tried to add on unmentioned delivery fees not listed on their website thus I canceled that; Pods practically impossible to communicate with by phone unless you want to wait 40+ minutes and then luck of the draw if the driver is professional and courteous or not and then lastly of the three To Go Box whom I love and will happily use until my work is done:) I cannot say enough positive things about this business and it's people.

The lady "Diane" who took my payment over the phone said she could not waive the first and only late fee of $30. I've spent maybe a little over a couple thousand dollars in their facility and again, never had I been late on my monthly payment. I was happy there, but for the sole reason of the unwillingness and lack of sympathy to waive the outrageous $30 fee to a loyal patron I put a cancel on my future business with golden state storage and will take my business elsewhere.
