Due to my situation, he had me booked and scheduled for two of his movers and their truck to help me move in less than 30 minutes. Paperwork signed and everything! There is a minimum of 4 hours to pay for. It sounded reasonable since my boyfriend and I were moving about 20 miles more west. The movers arrived on time and were both so friendly. A big shoutout to Sal and Henry for helping my boyfriend and I move so quickly, efficiently and for keeping our furniture safe. We were SO fortunate and SO grateful to have found Frank last minute. I definitely recommend them for any moving purposes! If you want to know about my situation, keep reading. After booking another moving company 3 weeks in advance, on the day of my scheduled moving day, the other movers canceled! I couldn't believe my ears when I heard this. However, my boyfriend and I had already scheduled this on our calendar, we knew we had to move nonetheless. After scouring and calling a few movers for "same day service" (and finding out they don't do same day service even though their website said so), I was SO lucky to have found Frank at Box-n-Go Storage and Moving. Let me tell you - after I called and called different moving companies, when I immediately spoke to Frank, I knew he was an honest man behind the phone who kept their promises. She made the company sound organized, reliable, and worth the price. Unfortunately, what followed did not reflect that impression. Although the company presents itself as a California-based operation with its own fleet, our belongings were transported more than 2,000 miles in what appeared to be a standard rental truck with a trailer attached. Our suitcases were placed loose in the open back of the truck exposed to dirt, weather, and potential theft. They were not transported in a secured moving vehicle, and by the time everything arrived in Florida, several items were dirty and damaged. The delivery process was especially frustrating. My husband was pressured into helping unload everything, yet they still expected a tip afterward, but he did most of the heavy lifting.We were also charged extra to have our items brought to our door, even though the truck could have parked directly in front of the building. The driver simply chose not to because it was inconvenient. We had missing and damaged items, including lamp parts, table legs, and a damaged KitchenAid due to careless handling. While the pickup crew in California was professional, the delivery team was disorganized and rushed. To make things worse, we were told at the last minute that our building supposedly didn't allow Saturday deliveries. The driver said our belongings could either be left on the side of the road or placed into storage at our expense...even though we paid for door to door delivery and were never informed of any restrictions and this is a very long move as is. This was not an inexpensive service, and the experience did not come close to matching the promises made during the sales process. When a company positions itself as premium, the gap between what is sold and what is delivered becomes impossible to ignore especially when they try to charge you extra for every step of the way. I wish my experience had been different, but unfortunately, it wasn't.

I just hired them again to move my things from storage into a PODS container without me being present. While it could be nerve wracking not being there Lyndon, Tanya, and Jesse put me at ease. In fact, I was never worried at all knowing how careful they are. They're very detailed. They treat even the smallest and inexpensive item as if it was the Hope Diamond. Seriously, you can trust A-List with your most precious possessions without worry.
