We talked, about kids, about life, about our daughters, as she worked, and guess what? Tammy waxed me without hurting me. She grabbed a bunch of braiding hair that was not at all the color of my hair so she sent someone to go buy some. They came back with braiding hair that also did not match my hair color. She claimed that once she started braiding it wouldn't be apparent but the braid started to look bulky so I asked her to just braid my real hair, it's long enough. She had a bit of an attitude once I asked her to not use the fake hair. Against my better judgement I let her finish. To top it off she took scissors and start cutting away fly always, from my real hair!! I got home to find that the parts were not even and braids were all different sizes. Please do not bother.

While it took a little bit longer to finish the mapping to get the arch just right, and little bit more painful than I expected from the tattoo needle (this is my FIRST EVER tattoo experience), I gotta say the whole experience was worth it. Nicole is so dedicated to making her clients feel as comfortable as possible and creating the best possible design for their eyebrows tailored to their liking. She is meticulous and careful, while still creating a calm, fun environment with the music, complimentary chocolates and water! Expressed to her that I would have come at a later time and she immediately got a nasty attitude and maintained a nasty attitude each and every time I had to return to her to fix my closure. Gaslighted me the first time into thinking the closure was done correctly when it wasn't (pics included). The first pic is how she did my hair and gaslighted me into thinking that that was how it was supposed to look which was obviously a lie. The second pic was after going back to her 2x to have the closure fixed. Argued with me the whole time she was fixing my hair, the final time she fixed it, as if she didn't want to do it correctly. The finished product was exceptionally good but Amira does not take criticism well, at all. What a shame to provide such poor customer service to someone that spent so much money for two sew ins within just a few months. Disgusting. Proceed at your own risk.

Anyway, I gave Hudson Beauty bar a call and requested to be an appointment as soon as my gf annoyed me yet again after doing my makeup one evening. Ester was amazing from the minute we talked. I easily made an appointment to come in for a consultation and we discussed what I was looking to do and how much it would cost. I came into HBB on a Tuesday late afternoon as she was finishing up another client. She profusely apologized and told me to take a seat and grab anything I wanted from the mini fridge. Once she was done, we chatted for a bit and then she sat me down in the chair and drew out how eyebrows would look (I dId show her a picture so she had an idea). She said she could go ahead or I could come back. I told her to go ahead with the whole thing and we picked out the color I wanted them. She then applied some numbing cream and waited 20 min. The procedure itself did not take that long. 20-30 tops. It hurt a tad bit at first, but then I was fine. When she showed me the final look, I actually gasped. I was (am) so speechlessly happy. I am sooooo very glad I did this. I feel like it brought a new look to my face! I loVe the way I look and would highly suggest the procedure and this salon to anyone! I really hope they don't lose any pigment anytime soon! They look fantastic! And I don't feel like i need eye mAkeup anymore! Nice work Ester!
