Waxing the bikini area is not an experience normal people seek out. I felt brave today and went into Tammy's and asked for a Brazilian. I met Tammy, the actual Tammy, and she is a beautiful person. She has a calmness, a serenity about her that is palpable and infectious. I calmed down immediately when she walked into the room. We talked, about kids, about life, about our daughters, as she worked, and guess what? Tammy waxed me without hurting me. I couldn't believe how horrible it wasn't and I still can't believe I got the full Monty without wishing I'd had a Valium first! I'm no longer afraid of waxing, Thank you Tammy! They may ask if you would like additional services but they won't harass you about it. They give you an opportunity to check their handiwork and they are topnotch when it comes to cleanliness and hygiene. The shop also has a frequent user card that is a bonus. They offer hair removal services, facials, lashes and henna. I usually stick to the hair removal services and I'm satisfied. The location is small, clean and open pretty late. The staff is efficient, welcoming and thorough.

And they are so cheap! Just $6 for eyebrows and $5 for upper lips. The best part is that I rarely have to go in to do spot clean-up with tweezers afterwards - these ladies leave no hair behind! (lolz) There is usually a small wait on the weekends (15-20 minutes) and they are not super strict about the hours on the door (ie: sometimes they open later or close earlier) so I would call ahead if you don't live nearby.

When asked to turn on the air conditioner, they literally turned it on and off right away. It's was weird. I wanted to do SNS but they don't offer that here. I wanted to do chrome on top of my gel manicure and again they don't offer it here. My nails turned out decent. I guess if you want a no frills easy manicure it's good. It cost me $45 plus tip. Usually gel manicure costs $35 but they charged me $10 to take my SNS powder off.

Honestly, for the price and quality, I can see myself coming back whenever I need my eyebrows done!
