Where do I even begin... my wife and I came here for brunch not knowing at all what to expect. We were absolutely blown away by the food and the service. I had their salmon sandwich and my wife had their tri tip and egg sandwich (sorry can't remember the fancy names they had). Both sandwiches, ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. the salmon was light and fresh, the Serrano mayo was a nice heat and creamy factor and the house salad with vinaigrette was the perfect bright, acidic bite to cleanse the palette. The tri tip sandwich is a must have, absolutely remarkable. Definitely on the other end of the spectrum from my salmon sandwich, it was hearty, flavorful and the egg made it rich and delicious. On both sandwiches the bread tastes homemade and fresh. We also like to enjoy a little something sweet after a good meal so we opted for the banana stuffed French toast which was to die for. First timers, I recommend sitting at the bar, getting the tri tip sandwich FOR SURE and enjoying the amazing service and anti corporate feel of the place. Highly recommend. read more

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Friendly staff & delicious, fresh food. Loved the simple decor, bright open feeling, and the modern take on Mediterranean cuisine. We had the Chancho en Cama pork sandwich and the chicken plate with potaoes & red beets on the side. Both were tasty, and it's obvious the chef put a lot of thought & care into elevating his menu. We went through the Covid and it was my first time. LOVVEEEDDDDD it, Food is great, they made us feel comfortable and owner is there and super NICE guy. Go there and order to go or Dine in. You won't be disappointed. Our office is very close and we have been telling everyone to go. They also own Inka Mama next door. LOVED IT. read more

My husband, son (2 years old) and I tried this place after church today. We were going to go to Denny's but SOOOOOO thrilled we did NOT and chose to try MAMÓN. First, the staff was extremely nice, helpful and patient. Second, the food was AMAZING. The flavors were so perfect and our meals completely satisfied our cravings. Super good sandwiches and sides in a comfortable sit down and enjoy it environment. Even the iced tea was extra good. Service was excellent. Yum! Came here off a family recommendation and the food was yummy. Tried the 1) Mushroom sandwich 2) tri-tip and egg sandwich 3) beet salad 4) bananna pudding 5) avocado toast. All and all our favs were the mushroom and avocado toast selections. The tri-tip was good but a bit tough and very hearty. The Beet salad was a bit unique and a tad too earthy for our taste. The bananna pudding is straight from the south in terms of flavoring- rather sweet but good in moderation. Willing to try other items on their menu next time! I've gotten catering trays of sliders for a couple of events and even got it delivered for the last one. Almost as fresh as getting it there and they held up really well. Everyone loves the avocado toast! I was able to get half a tray vegan and half regular, which was really helpful. Banana pudding also a huge hit. We've coming since they first opened. We know Evangelo from when he used to manage the restaurant next door, Inka Mama. I have to say I found my favorite from the very beginning... the Chancho en Cama. I've not ordered anything else in the maybe 8 or 10 times I've been here! I spent a lot of time talking to the owners who happily pointed me in the right direction on my selections. They even mentioned something not yet on the menu and let me order this secret option. The hammered burrito with roasted potatoes and grilled cauliflower with green salsa was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had and their French toast stuffed with banana pudding and topped with berries and fig syrup was other worldly. This is a new location by the sons of Inka Mamas San Clemente and they offer roasted meats, salads, and sandwiches with a peruvian twist. The inside decor is warm and comfortable. I'll update this review with pictures shortly. read more

This place has a great vibe to it and a friendly atmosphere. However, the food (at least what I've had) is just good. I think it has the potential to be great, but for now it's just good. I got the salmon fillet, cauliflower, and mixed greens on my first visit. It could have been the way they pre-cook the salmon, but it was a bit dense/dry. Not flaky and tender like salmon typically is and it was rather bland. Even some lemon on top would have made it better. The cauliflower was great and was just flavorful enough to compliment a main dish..however the salmon wasn't much of a main dish. I tried the caprese salad on my second visit and it was great; fresh and filling. The staff is so friendly and the owner really cares that you enjoy your time and food here. I'll be coming back to try more menu options for sure! *update* Since my first couple visits, I've tried a lot of the other menu options. I can say I'm very impressed! The sandwiches are amazing and unique in flavor. I highly recommend the Theres An Egg Involved (be prepared to be messy). Another favorite is the Chancho En Cama, the flavor is unique and the meat is cooked perfectly. I also like the Al Horno, but it has more simple/basic flavors compared to the others. The dipping sauce (some sort of chipotle avocado ranch?) they give you for fries is amazing!! Also they do full service if you sit at the bar. read more

Went and tried a new place for lunch with my co-worker. I saw that there was a new place with great soup and it was vegan, so I was determined to go check it out. The ambience was really nice... Cutest little place... I had ordered three different kind of soup and a sandwich: Tomato soup Lentil soup English Peas Open face Avocado sandwich Tomato soup was our least favorite but it was good... A little too much like a marinara taste to it... But surprisingly it was completely vegan. Lentil soup was pleasant. Not to heavy or thick. More broth the bean which is great for me. English Peas... My all-time favorite. Had a very rustic flavor to it. Also completely vegan but you can taste the fattiness from the olive oil that was sparingly place on top. Avocado sandwich was very flavorful. My coworker said there was just the right amount of seasonings. All in all... Great place to visit. Next time we will try their meat sandwiches for sure... That is their specialty... I heard... Mamon is an amazing little place in Foothill Ranch. They have delicious sandwiches and a selection of craft beers. The "chancho en cama" is my favorite sandwich, with roasted pork and pickled onions, delicious! If you are eating paleo or low carb, you can get the meat a la carte with a side of veggies and salad, pretty much the perfect lunch.
