I understand this is a small town and suppliers likely don't provide the best options. However, I was actually angry when I ordered FOCACCIA and received a French roll cut down the middle and covered in more rubbery cheese. I suppose whoever made the menu has just never had focaccia anywhere else and assumed it means cheesy bread in Italian. Not to mention my server tried to charge me twice for it. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Cuero do yourself a favor and go to Whataburger, Taqueria Jalisco, or pick up a frozen lasagna from HEB if you are really craving Italian. We pulled up thinking they were closed but a waiter immediately told us they were still going for the night. Boy did she not disappoint. Served us some of the best garlic bread, vegetable and chicken soup, steak, and pasta we've had in a while. Decided to catch them again to see if the first visit was a fluke. This time for an early evening dinner. Coincidentally, we had the same waiter as the first visit and again she did an amazing job. She was very patient and of course, the food was amazing. The salmon piccata and chicken piccata were both very filling. Have I mentioned the vegetable and chicken soup. I really like that soup. Also to note, they give very large portions of the proteins.
