I was very confused when I pulled into the lot because I didn't a sign and I didn't realize it was inside a hotel. Walked in and didn't see Italia anywhere so was even more confused. I asked the girl at the front desk and she directed me to the place at the end of the hall. The place is really nice. The hotel and restaurant. The service was good. Our food was prompt. We had a lovely day of golfing and decided to try out the hotel restaurant. It is pretty spacious, and we got a nice table by the window. It took a bit to get our server at first but we ordered some refreshing drinks. My spritz sampler was very tasty, and my boyfriend's lychee martini was also sweet and refreshing. We got the Saturday prime rib special, crab linguine, mussels Diablo, and a ceasar salad. Everything was delicious with nice big portions. I only wish the prime rib had a better horse radish sauce (the sauce seemed more like sour cream) and the mussels Diablo were more spicy (couldn't taste any spice in this red sauce). This restaurant is located inside the newly renovated (still underway as of July 2026) Geneva Lodge hotel. The interior is a cool upsale design. We only popped in for the breakfast buffet so I can't speak to dinner options. The buffet was overpriced for such a paltry and sad selection (watery eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, bread/pastry). The food was not especially good. And they charge extra for any beverages which is bizarre given how expensive the "buffet" already is for what you get. They also had something plugged in (the toaster I think) with the cord literally dangling in the walk path from the door to seating (definitely a trip hazard). You are better off going into town for a real breakfast for half the price. read more

We've been coming here for a few years and each time we had excellence food and excellent service. Came here, June 2026 and found the parking lot torn up. The room price skyrocketed. Came to eat our favorite foods to find out they changed the menu, which is normally OK but not a good selection. Asked for bread Service they said they don't have it anymore. When ordering a pizza we asked for pepperoni and they said that they didn't have it anymore because the new owners and chef wanted to be more of an Italian experience. So let me see no pepperoni and no bread Service I think that's Italian Heritage. Very disappointed will probably not be coming here anymore. We must say though our server,Alyssa was phenomenal and very accommodating. The new owners of this hotel hopefully will wake up and bring back a true Italian menu. read more

I was a little skeptical coming here from the other review, but I actually had an amazing experience here! I came down here for Valentine's Day weekend, and was pleasantly surprised. On the outside, the location looks an unassuming and honestly a bit sketchy. However, once you get inside, it is very upscale and fancy. Never judge a book by its cover! When we came in, it was not as crowded as we expected. The atmosphere and decor, though, was sleek, romantic, and modern. We were very fortunate to be seated by the window. The view is absolutely breathtaking, right on the lake. We had a nice server, very attentive. We ordered the PB & J old fashioned, which was so unique. It was strong and tasty. We also had the garlic bread, which was probably one of the best garlic bread I ever had. We also had the prime rib, which was tender and not too salty. My favorite meal of the night was the crab pasta. It's a little spicy, but you get actual chunks of lump crab meat. Other places that have crab pasta barely have any crab meat at all. I'm glad they're generous with the amounts here. Their portions are also large, so we didn't have room for dessert. However, they did look delicious, so I regret not getting some to go. The manager was also walking around the restaurant and checked in on every table, which was nice. I had a pleasant experience here. No complaints at all. This is a lovely date night spot. Please don't. The calamari was undercooked came with a nice long hair in it. The margarita pizza was undercooked and tasted by kinda sour. Yes the manager apologized for the hair, stuff happens, the waitress was a wonderful young lady you could tell she was very new and young can't blame her for lackluster service several staff walked by as I tried to flag them down eventually had to ask to have my waitress come by , mind you only three tables in the place , atmosphere is pleasant and the $80 bottles of mediocre wine didn't make things better. We lucked out by going on a day with live music, and it made the experience so much better. Even though we didn't score a window seat overlooking the lake, sitting by the bar with the live music was still awesome. They do take reservations, which seems to be uncommon in the area. Even though we didn't have one, we still got a table for two right away. Can't say if it'll be that easy in the busy season of summer though, so keep that in mind. Overall, I would give the vibes and service a 5/5 and the food a 3/5. The caesar salad and bruschetta were tasty, but if you're a pasta lover like me, the spaghetti and meatballs and bolognese left something to be desired. Came for New Years Eve, and I have to say this was by far the worst New Year's Eve experience I've ever had. To start, it took us over 30 minutes after our reservation time to get sat, didn't get drinks until almost an hour after our reservation began. First course not for another hour. We finally got our main course around 11pm (2.5 hours after our reservation began) and one steak was raw, the other was beyond well done. We sent the food back, paid, and left hungry. Our server was doing their best, but the event was clearly oversold, and the kitchen very overwhelmed. This was all-around a very poorly organized and executed event. We did go to the party downstairs after, the band was great. Just wish we would've been able to eat within a reasonable amount of time (or at all) so we could have enjoyed the party more. Couldn't have been more disappointed in a restaurant. We had a reservation for 16 on Thursday July 17th. Manager claimed our reservation was cancelled. There were 2 large tables set up in the main dining room. Manager indicated they were for different parties. As we were crammed into a small space in the bar, one of the large spaces went unused. Manager was defiant and argumentative. Appetizers were decent, Main dishes ranged from plain awful to okay. Pastas were okay, but not really up to par with the prices. salmon was overcooked dry and drowned with a too heavy sauce. It appeared as if they were low on salmon as the pieces couldn't have been more than 3 ounces and less than an inch wide. That was the case for at least three or four in our party. Consider this a warning. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Our group of eight came here for Happy Hour. We arrived shortly after it started at 4:00. We seated ourselves at two tables in the bar area. Turns out that is against the rules, according to the guy who we assumed was the manager. He said the tables are reserved for dinner guests only (even though, as I said, the tables were in the bar,) I counted 30 tables throughout the establishment. We took two. By the time we left at 6:15, there were four tables taken up by people having dinner. By my count, that left 26 empty tables, of which we were not allowed to have two. 16 of us greatly enjoyed our annual group dinner August 27, the first at Crafted Italia. I reserved their private room which requires pre-ordering from their family style menu that fortunately offers a wide variety to meet everyone's preferences, which isn't without its challenges given we're all in our early 70s. Our menu selections were very well prepared by being warm, flavorful and abundant which exceeded all of our expectations as did the wide variety of desserts selected by the Chef. Our server Marina was attentive and flexible in meeting everyone's drink requests and my requests for the timing of delivering our starters. We will definitely be back next summer during our third annual Geneva National golf trip. read more

This place is like a fine wine: it gets better with age. Every time we come here they up their game and they definitely earned 5 stars this time around. The mixed drinks and wine were on point, and they also offer many beer and spirits choices too. We all ordered the hand tossed pizzas and they were all so good. So excited they had a vegan cheese option and it was excellent! We also got the house crafted zeppole for an appetizer and they were incredible. If it's still on the menu when you come here (they change their menu often) I'd highly suggest it. It's fluffy, flaky dough balls lightly coated in Parmesan that you can dip in marinara. Awesome wait staff who were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere has a modern, very clean feel (even the bathrooms are super fancy). A little pricy but worth it. I will definitely be back yet a bit cautious on my order. Overall everything was good. I usually test the Italian side of an Italian restaurant with the feel good comfort of spaghetti and meatballs. It was good and I enjoyed it. Next time I'd order the rib eye. May pasta was delivered to the table within a few minutes which right off the bat says I have mushy reheated pasta being served. It was al dente, ok, I can manage. The sauce was good but either overcooked or jarred. The meatballs were unbelievable and absolutely delicious; flavorful and tender. The meatballs helped me set aside the negativity of the pasta. The service by the way was outstanding. The view of the lake and outdoor walk way was amazing. I am always in search of good Italian cuisine. I need to stop focusing on the Italian side and start enjoying the American fare. read more

Not a review of Crafted Italia itself - but rather the Christmas Pop up bar in one of the private rooms. First off - definitely a MUST See. They did an incredible job decorating it. Fireplaces / tv monitors with burning logs and really great Holiday Drinks. Very cozy and welcoming ! Sadly 1 staff member single handedly ruined a festive night. The dirty blondish bartender obviously did not want to be there. Never saw her smile - not even once. We were there with about 10 people and all of us wondered what was wrong with the grinch ??! We honestly came here by mistake not even realizing that this was a hotel restaurant. It is super close to Lake Geneva National Resort and Club where they were doing Ice Castles, so we ended up grabbing a bite here and shuttleing to the National Resort. The restaurant was beautiful and cozy. Very clean for a hotel restaurant. The menu was limited but they had happy hour specials and standard choices that can please anyone. The food, from the cheese curds to the burger and fries we had was good. It was well made, fresh, noting memorable but good and filling, nonetheless and shareable. The service was awesome. We were checked up on many times throughout our meal. Greeted by the manager twice. It was really a great experience from a service perspective. I would recommend for a quick, fun dinner!! read more

Calamari with a roasted yellow tomato ketchup was the beginning of the delightful dinner. Usually my go to pizza is Margherita. Upon the servers recommendation, we went with Italian Stallion, and I'm glad we tried it. Grilled Shrimp Casio E Pepe with added Wisconsin Parmesan was another delish. Ordered right at open for on Uber eats For three people. The order was delivered. Three items were missing, two items were wrong. Two of the three main courses were not there. Submitted The claim on Uber eats and received the refund for the items missing. Immediately re-ordered the missing and incorrect items. The delivery occurred about an hour later. Two of the four re-ordered items were missing. Everything else we received was a tiny portion and very expensive. Trying to figure out why I didn't just order Gino's East. At this point, we've spent $20 in tips and $20 in service fees and only one of us has a dinner and it's a pathetic sad little dinner of the two tiniest chicken thighs you have ever seen. Crafted is doing a lot of communications right now about how they are available on Uber eats and DoorDash. May I suggest that you take that off of your options until you are able to handle either the volume or the complexities of to go orders? Also, if you want to be more than a hotel restaurant, you need to have better portions and appetizing presentation. The staff was extremely friendly especially our bartender and who made our stay incredibly Pleasant and personalized. The food was fantastic and overall had a great feel to it. Crafted Italia was a restaurant I found while searching for dinner locations near Lake Geneva. The restaurant is in The Ridge Hotel and there is plenty of parking - no fee. From the outside looking in, this hotel doesn't appear "modern" or updated. However, upon walking in, this hotel has clearly been remodeled and the décor is modern and clean. The restaurant is located straight back from the main entrance. I loved the vibe of the restaurant - it was moody and romantic. There is a wall of windows that show a beautiful view of Lake Como. From there, you can also see the hotel terrace and outdoor space. It is beautiful, and after dinner, we did walk around the hotel grounds for a bit. I would recommend that as well. As for our dinner, we made a reservation, which I always recommend when available. We were seated in a timely manner by a pleasant hostess. I visited in a group of three. We were seated at a table along the wall of windows. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She arrived for our drink order promptly. The drink menu offers a selection of house cocktails as well as a plethora of wines for all palettes. For an appetizer, we order a Zeppole which in my opinion would be a crowd pleaser for most guests. They were cooked lovely with a side of red sauce. The serving size can easily be shared among a group of 4-6 people. Three people can also share the serving size for the Caesar salad as well. For entrees, we order a variety - Italian Stallion pizza, Lobster Ravioli and Spaghetti and Meatballs. The pizza was very good, and the crust was cooked just right. I think 4-5 people could easily share a pizza. The lobster ravioli was delightful. The spaghetti and meatballs dish was average. There was some concern with the meatballs though. It seemed it didn't quite hold its shape as well as expected. However, the flavors were all there. Regarding price, I would say the per person cost was right around $60 including beverage and tip. This is what I would call a find dining Italian restaurant for the area, and I feel the prices and ambiance reflect that well. I would definitely recommend Crafted Italia for those visiting the Lake Geneva area. read more

This restaurant located in the Ridge Hotel is a nice looking space but lacks any sense of personality. The service was lost...literally! She forgot to put our appetizer in even though she had no other tables and our meal came out after a tables who was seated and orders 15 minutes after us (apparently we got the wrong waitress). Anyway the food was perfectly reasonable. I had their veggie burger which was homemade and pretty tasty if I do say so. Although the salmon added to the caesar salad seemed to have been deep fried...lol I know we are in Wisconsin but WHYY...would you do that. Oh and they push their private label wine although it's not very good. We returned for brunch and 2 days later and had equally horrible service and forgetful and wrong orders coming out. They REALLY need to train their staff. The second experience is lowering my original 3 star to a 2 star experience. If you are staying at the Ridge I would say go ahead and have lunch or dinner although other than that I would not go out of your way. read more
