As our mains we ordered the sausage lickin' good pasta along with the og scallops. The food was flavorful and the portions were generous. We had a lovely server who knew her way around the menu and she was helpful when making our final selections. Overall I had a great experience. I didn't have a memorable entrée, but I'm convinced there's one for me on the menu so I'll definitely be back to give it another try! read more

Good food, but unfortunately the service was awful. We were told we had to order everything at once -- we could not even put in an app for the kids first, so instead of enjoyable experience with drinks and appetizers while reviewing the larger menu options, we had to plan and take notes on our iPad while our kids complained they wanted an appetizer. Once we ordered, everything then came out very rushed (I specifically said we hated ordering all at once because it felt rushed) with little time between courses. We were constantly interrupted with check-ins and had plates cleared before we were finished several times. It made it nearly impossible to have a conversation or enjoy the meal. The calamari was excellent but small--we would have ordered another, if allowed (we were not)... The wine list was also lacking, and they were out of the only decent glass option. It's a shame because the food and chef are good, but the customer experience was so poor that we won't be returning. read more

Epic flavors on a quarterly (I think) changing menu. Chef Simon is talented both in his cooking and dish naming (the menu is fun). Service is hit or miss. Sometimes your server is wonderful and other times they never come back or forget your bread, little things but it adds up.. Ambiance is intimate and dark (grandpa hates it as he can't see). This place is not good for large groups or kids. There is outdoor seating which I believe is dog friendly? We enjoy sitting at the main bar to avoid some of the previous mentioned things and also we don't often plan ahead - it's recommended to make reservations here. Seating is limited! This was our second visit here. It's in the middle of downtown Lake Geneva -- a busy street with lots of shops and restaurants. It has a classic-looking front façade, made from crafted wood millwork. Inside, on the lower level, is a bar area and seating for different-sized groups. Upstairs is another dining area that isn't as well furnished, but it is definitely quieter (which is always our pick). We had reservations on a Friday night and got seated right away. Our server got us settled in with water and menus. They have a drink menu with some interesting offerings of hand-crafted cocktails. We settled on a couple of Pinot Grigios, Old Fashioneds, and a Lo Siento. All were very good. After our server (Calvin, who did a great job the entire night) explained all of the specials, we decided on the Seba-tons (Lobster Wontons); the Duck; Lamb Chops; Brrr-atta (Pasta); and the Bronze Medal (Filet). All the food was amazingly good. The Lobster Wontons were hot, flavorful, and crisp (not greasy). Each piece was a good size. We didn't wait long for the entrées to come out. Each of them was well presented, hot, seasoned nicely, and generous in portion. My lamb chops were the perfect medium rare (almost as good the next night when I had leftovers). The potatoes with olives, feta, etc. were inventive and delicious. The first meal we ate here was memorable, but I think this meal even topped that one. Absolutely delightful. We had reservations for memorial weekend which are recommended for prime hours. Service was fine. Our server didn't seem particularly interested but they did get better throughout. Efficient but not necessarily pleasant. I didn't feel rushed though either. The seating is also pretty tight for small groups which I didn't love. There were three separate tables for parties of 2. We were the 630 arrival and we were seated in the middle. Throughout the evening they filled those seats and it's not as intimate as you'd like. I think for larger groups you would not have this issue. I'm assuming their menu rotates considering the drink menu was not the same as the one in person. We got one of the appetizers which was goat cheese on arugula with a citrus vinaigrette. I thought this was very tasty. Light, flavorful, a bit of crunch. I absolutely loved my dish - the summer scallops. They were cooked to perfection. Not oversalted, and not rubbery. Also, I think the corn purée added a hint of sweetness. The broccolini had a nice char - I think it could've been cooked for a minute longer. I think given the area this is in, I'm not surprised at the prices which seem to deter people from coming here. We had a date night here on a Saturday and were seated upstairs, which was interesting because the first floor was empty at the time. Service was quick, and the bread we ordered was nice and warm. We also got the octopus and mussels for appetizers. The octopus was delicious but on the smaller side, while the mussels were interesting as it came topped with fries but was a huge portion. I also got a salad and asked for easy dressing but it came drenched! Otherwise was a tasty salad that went nicely with the duck ragu we ordered. Stopped in Saturday night for dinner--overall the experience was okay. Our reservation was for 6pm and we were sat upstairs even though the main floor was practically empty. Didn't love the ambiance of the second floor but we made do. The menu had a lot of tasty sounding options so we were excited to order our apps and continue browsing the menu, however we were informed we had to put all food in at the same time (apps + entrees). Not a fan of this concept as everything always ends up arriving too close together and we feel rushed. Anyways, we ordered the mussels as an appetizer which were delicious. My husband ordered the salmon as his entree he liked a lot although the potatoes were drenched in a dill sauce that he didn't love. Per the waiters recommendation I ordered the peanut butter pasta. It sounded similar style to a pad thai but I could barely get more than a few bites in before I couldn't eat anymore. Was not a fan of the sauce. I paid Sopra a visit Saturday night expecting a great meal and conversation with my bestie. What I got instead was a very humiliating experience as a hispanic woman. A very closed minded obnoxious couple seated next to us made lewd remarks about myself and my friend. They were being very graphic and immature. My friend stood up for us and made them put their phones away as they were filming us. Once they left the "chef" came over and made us leave. He also insisted we leave AND pay our bill or he would call the police which given his history, I found ironic. In the 20 years I have been visiting reputable restaurants this was the most humiliating experience I have ever had and will never visit this establishment again. This place is anti LGBTQ and prejudice. Please dine responsibly. Beware of closed minded business owners like this one. read more

We've been longtime fans of Sopra in Lake Geneva and have had many great meals here over the years. Sadly, our most recent visit this summer was a letdown--and we're not likely to return anytime soon. The menu has shifted to only offer so-called "past favorites," but ironically, some of our actual favorites--like the Donald from Dehli and the Gucci--are no longer available. What's left feels limited and uninspired. Service was slow and unbalanced--we received all of our food at once, making it hard to enjoy each course properly. Drinks were very strong, to the point of being unpleasant rather than enjoyable. The wine being served in stemless glasses also detracts. As for the food: The gnocchi and veal special was good, but nothing memorable. The beet salad has been noticeably downsized. The once-impressive octopus appetizer has been cut in half--literally. The tiramisu, now served in a cup, lacked presentation and felt like an afterthought rather than a dessert worth savoring. A note of caution: never sit upstairs. It's loud, service is even slower, and something as basic as getting a glass of water became a chore. It's disappointing to watch a place that used to be a true Lake Geneva gem lose its edge. We hope they find their way back, but for now, we'll be dining elsewhere. read more

Had a wonderful dinner with amazing food and drinks here! Our server, Sophia, was absolutely phenomenal and made the night a total hoot. We got the tuna tar tar to start and thought it was great- nothing out of the ordinary other than the fact it comes with ginger as opposed to some sort of chip to eat it off of. But regardless, was still great. The scallops were so amazing that they didn't even need a sauce! I had gotten the "spicy" thai sauce on the side because I have a low tolerance, but after trying it I realized it would've been just fine. My sister got the vodka gnocchi on the special list tonight and absolutely loved it! I think the vodka sauce was amazing and worth the calories. My father got The Betsy and thought the steak was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. For dessert, Sophia recommended the ice cream dessert drink that has a bunch of different liquors in it- don't remember the name but it was so good we ordered two. Also, I had the dark/milk/white chocolate dessert with hazelnut was 10/10. A nice ambience with a cozy, dark interior and great service. Would love to come back when i'm in town next! read more

Had a nice anniversary dinner here on a recent visit to Lake Geneva! This cozy little place serves up Italian-American foods, so we were excited to give the menu a try. We of course had to start with the warm bread, which came with a salted butter that was so good we ordered more. We also had the fried goat cheese. It included baby arugula, honey orange vinaigrette, cayenne pepper and a honey drizzle. Tons of great flavor here. For mains we decided to go with one pasta and one entree to split. Off the pasta menu we chose the "dwayne." This dish was made with tagliolini and had loads of sautéed rock shrimp, chilis, sun dried tomatoes, garlic, white wine, and parm. It was pretty good but can't say it was worth the whopping $30 price. "Gettin' piggy wit it" was our other pick, and this were some tasty, grilled double bone, pork chops! There wasn't much too the sides (well-sauced cannellioni beans), as the meat is clearly the focal point. Again, not quite worth the high price, but still a delicious dish. Our server didn't offer the friendliest of energy, but the food runners certainly did. Parking around here is a little scarce, as it's a busy downtown spot, so plan to look for street parking. Yay!!! Last night we had a great experience at Sopra. As you can see, I've been dining at this restaurant for a number of years and had some not good experiences. I'm so happy that everything from cocktails to food to service was great last evening. First of all, Ava was an absolute delight. She came to our table with a smile and introduced herself. Her service was impeccable, always checking on us and seeing if we needed anything. Such a vast difference from past experiences, especially just 3 months ago. I think the owner/chef read some of the reviews and made a change to some of his wait staff. It makes a huge difference to receive attentive and friendly service. Kudos to him! There were four of us that dined here for my friend's birthday. Right away, Ava asked who the birthday girl was. It didn't go unnoticed. We ordered cocktails and then shared the burrata appetizer and the grilled Caesar salad. I love that Caesar salad and get it most every time I dine here. For dinner, two of my friends ordered fish, entrées, the swordfish, and the salmon. My other girlfriend ordered the breaded veal chop, and I ordered the lemon bucatini that I had in July. Still really delicious. Everyone loved their entrées. Ava brought a dessert menu and the birthday girl picked out a mascarpone dessert, which was delicious. When we receive the bill, Ava took the time to write happy birthday to my friend. I enjoyed my interactions with Ava in the time she spent chatting with us. We started with a round of drinks - my wife going for the Cassandra (see picture) and myself going with the Smoke Break (see picture - a Kentucky beer and a shot of Mezcal). We both tasted each others drinks and both found the Cassandra to be delicious. I ordered the Smoke Break because it came with Mezcal and if you follow my posts or see the recipe on my site - I LOVE Mezcal Palomas in the summertime. I'm not a huge fan of sipping straight alcohol though (like it mixed so I can drink instead) and didn't find anything special about the beer...so wouldn't order it again, especially given the price. The Table Bread (see picture) was delicious along with the spread. For starters, our friends ordered the Brussels (see picture) and my wife and I shared the Beets Me (see picture). Both of these salads were unique, fresh and delicious - so I'd highly recommend them. For our dinners, our friends ordered the Sausage & Peppers (see picture), my wife ordered the Greatest Of All Time (see picture) and I ordered the NOLA (see picture). We all shared tastes of each others dishes and I assure you that there was a lot of "that's delicious" after each bite! You absolutely won't go wrong with any of these dishes! We had our hearts set on Ice Cream up the street for dessert and Scot even had a good recommendation for a new gelato store just 2 blocks away (the next review...). I was torn between 3-4 stars but ended up at a 3 since there was nothing super duper special. The service was probably the most enjoyable aspect with our server being absolutely delightful and funny. The cocktails were tasty as well. However, we had to out in our entire order at the same time - appetizers, salads, main course, so that was a little inconvenient. Also, I really wanted a different main course, but they refused to substitute broccoli which I can't eat, so I had to choose my second choice which was the Halibut. It was delicious, but accommodating guests with dietary restrictions is definitely not their thing. The food was delicious, but the other issues we had resulted in a lower star rating. read more

My sister and I came to town for restaurant week and to get her out and about as she has been in treatment for months and we thought this would be a great spot. I look at the reviews and while it's a mixed bag I also looked closer and thought some of these reviews were from folks not really considering the menu and their needs. No offense but asking for changes to the menu gets out of hand, but I wasn't there to say. What I can say is we had both an excellent meal and service. Starting off, since she is in treatment, she cannot have alcohol, and we found most places even the "cocktail" bars didn't have booze free options, something I find strange these days. But the bartender kindly made up something for here based on her taste profile so it worked out great. We like to share so we can taste different things and while they couldn't separate plates for us the chef kindly split the main courses so we could easily do that for ourselves. The mussels were fantastic, some mentioned the fries as odd, I found it a nice treat. Yes we did order bread to soak up that goodness in the bowl. The beet salad was delicious, the fried goat cheese I had to stop myself from licking the plate! The cucumbers had some serious heat but we were warned and still enjoyed them. We opted for the wings over the octopus, because we had that elsewhere and regret it as the previous place wasn't all that great, but we were trying to try a bunch of flavors. We split the wings instead, that was maybe the one item.that was a hit and a miss for us, the flavors were on point and we enjoyed that, but wish they had been crispier. We tasted where the yogurt sauce wasn't and could tell it wasn't crispy still. BUT, as I said we enjoyed the flavors, so hard to complain, but yeah wish we ordered the octopus because the table next to us made us lick our chops! Overall it was an okay experience. We got sat immediately for our reservation which was great. Bread costs extra which is a little disappointing for a restaurant like this. We ordered and it took over 30 minutes to get our meal. Our waitress however was extremely attentive and apologetic and checked on it multiple times for us even though we didn't ask, which showed she was paying close attention. We ordered the halibut and the mussels, both of which are seasonal and not on the permanent menu. The seasonal menu did not include prices which was a little bothersome, but we did just ask for prices. The halibut came out and it was a pretty small portion for the cost. The halibut had great flavor, but was overcooked and tough. The veggies weren't anything special either. The mussels were ordered as an entree but are considered an appetizer according to our waitress. However, the mussels were a generous portion and were way more filling and tasty than the halibut was. I had absolutely no qualms with the mussels. The halibut for reference was $47 and the mussels were $23. And it didn't come with free bread for the table. In the end, the check was incorrect and we were given the check for two tables down, but we caught it and got it fixed. Overall for that amount of money and having to wait 30 minutes for overcooked fish, I'd say it wasn't worth it. The mussels were really good, though, so the food may just be a hit or miss. The restaurant was packed and I could tell they were very busy. Half the tables didn't have food for a long, long time. The ambiance was good, very dark and intimate, though so dark that the faux candle on the table was blinding. There were two functional single stalled bathrooms when we got there and by the end something must've happened because one became out of order. The saving graces were definitely the waitress (I believe her name was Diane?) and the mussels (which included truffle fries). read more

I came here with a group of 12 for a bachelorette party and we were seated in a private room upstairs (we had a reservation). The room was the perfect size for our group and allowed us to have a nice time without disturbing other guests. The room was very warm when we got there and our server offered to turn on a box air conditioner for our room. It kicked in immediately which was nice considering how hot the room was initially. Our server was fantastic, I wish I remembered her name. She answered all of our questions, gave recommendations, and was very personable! For cocktails, I had an espresso martini and an extra dirty vodka martini. Both were great. We started with bread for the table, the kidding around (fried goat cheese appetizer on menu), and a tuna tartar which was a special when we came. The fried goat cheese was my personal favorite. It was creamy on the inside and the honey that was on the plate complimented the dish very well. For my main I had the ginuwine pasta dish. It was delicious and creamy. The pistachio was not overbearing and complimented the dish very well. I would order this dish again. Overall, I was very happy with everything that I ordered. A delightful experience! We had heard positive things about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It was hard just to get seats and we soon found out why. The appetizer was exquisite. A cheese dish with shrimp cooked to perfection. It may have been the best shrimp I have ever eaten. What made it better as well as the rest of the meal were the exquisite cocktails. Ryan, the bartender, could have mistaken for a 15th century English Viscount - handsome, charismatic, and talented. He charmed us with the first selection, a delightful take on the martini. Deep. Flavorful. Perfection. I did not think it could improve but, alas, it did. To put the rest of the cocktail courses into words would be folly. I recommend attending Sopra's bar by Ryan and have your taste buds and world shattered, rebuilt, and enlightened. read more

Went unexpectedly about a week ago and can't wait to go back! Was pleasantly surprised. Had no particular expectations. Service was easy going and the food was top quality. I had the mussels & fries appetizer -- v good; and a seafood saffron sauce over gnocchi for my main -- very tasty!! The gnocchi & sauce dish was perfectly prepared and the portion was large. I've been on two dates here, the first time the food was amazing, this most recent time... it didnt feel worth the price. Our server was nice and let us send back a drink that we didnt like, she was also attentive and patient. The ambience can get a little loud, to where we had to almost yell to hear eachother, but can also be much quieter during less busy times. Waitress brought a small chocolate mousse cake or something like that. Was shocked when I got the bill and saw a $10 charge for it!! Waitress didn't even ask what dessert we wanted if any?? I assume they were going to bring something small on the house....I've never had that happen before. I also ordered a club soda and got a couple refills. I was charged for all 3. We enjoyed the salmon, crab cake, octopus, and the duck. The food was very good. I like salmon, but rarely order it because most restaurants overcook it. When the server asks about how do you like your salmon cooked, I know I am in a restaurant where they try to treat it properly. The smoked paprika sauce on the octopus was divine! When we want to 'stretch our legs' and take a drive to Lake Geneva, in the past, we've ended up at Sopra. We've been fans. My partner invariably orders the duck and has enjoyed it each time. Each time she mentions her gluten-free requirement (and did this time). Recently, we came to the restaurant, pleased to see that the wait-staff was at full force (not so the time before where everything lagged). They have a new menu. I took a chance and ordered a pasta dish with duck. Not enough kick for me (that's okay--I took a chance); however, the pasta was cool on the edges as if the dish had been sitting. Yes, the duck was ordered per usual. The duck came with a soft-boiled egg. It was panko-crusted as explained by the server only when asked after we were served. In other words, not GF. Decided against wine or a mixed drink, having Pellegrino instead. That small item was a quadruple markup from your grocery store. Portions are generous, but prices with the new menu are aggressive. It would be nice if the restaurant turned more attention to a gluten free option or at least making it a consideration. Basically, we're losing our enthusiasm for Sopra. read more

Upon arrival was seated in an empty dining room upstairs away from tables with patrons downstairs. We asked to be seated downstairs, but host was reluctant to move us. After moving downstairs was greeted by our server. Upon ordering drinks was informed my selection was not available. Again with my second selection was met with same response. Three attempts we finally had drinks and placed order for appetizers. We order octopus and goat cheese. Not only were they Tiny, bland they definitely did not lack the high price point. Disappointing. Before the appetizers were cleared nor finished the entrees were dropped. Definitely no staggering of dishes. Instead we piled plates on table waiting for someone to clear. We were presented with 2 different pasta dishes. Both missing key ingredients from description on menu. Instead replace with bland pasta (zero salt in water) soupy sauce that was not emulsified with pasta and not worth the second bite. When we mentioned to server she was shocked that we did not find them fantastic. Instead she cleared my bowl of pasta/ not offering to fix or replaced. My husband left with his was not sure to eat or send back because he was confused if I would have something to eat. In the end she took off my pasta from bill and husband did not eat as well. Waitress made no attempt to resolve or turn a negative into a positive. With the missed opportunity We mentioned to the server how disappointed we were and how this was our anniversary- After we left- wondering what the heck we encountered Noticed there were not a lot of the dinner options... ended up getting ice cream instead. Came here for dinner on a Sunday night. The restaurant was very busy, and moderately loud. The interior itself is very nice with several art pieces on the wall. For drinks we ordered a Riesling, and a special drink, painkiller cocktail, which tasted like a fancy piña colada. For appetizers we ordered the baby octopus, which came with two portions of octopus tentacles. As someone who really enjoys eating octopus, I was very pleasantly impressed that they were able to cook the octopus great, making it buttery and not too chewy, with char on the outside. The octopus also came with arugula with dressing that helped make the arugula not bitter. It was an excellent pairing with the octopus. We also ordered the lobster wontons which had goat cheese and cream cheese, and came with a sweet Thai chili sauce, which paired well with the slightly saltier wonton. For entrées my boyfriend got a special, which was the Korean barbecue ribeye, medium rare, which came with onion rings and aioli. The ribeye was excellent, a generous portion, but it was quite expensive at $47. I ordered the rigatoni which came with duck and bacon. Unfortunately I thought the duck was a little over cooked and bland. A lot of this is secondary to personal tastes but the rigatoni itself and the sauce was delicious especially with the bacon, zucchini and tomatoes that were also in the dish. The arugula on top was too bitter for the dish. Total for two people including the drinks, appetizer and entrée was about $130 not including tip. Expect to pay a lot for dinner. Highly recommend getting the baby octopus, wish I could've had that as my entrée. read more

It looks really nice on the outside. They make themselves out to seem like they are a high class restaurant serving an exceptional dinning experience, however that was not the case for us. I'd been wanting to try this place out for a while, so we made a reservation because the last time we tried we couldn't just walk in. I was surprised when they were walking us to our table, because it turned into walking up a steep flight of stairs to a second level of the restaurant that was very small and felt like an abandoned island. The server started off very nice and normal, however when I had explained that I was vegan and would just like a pasta dish, maybe with a plain marinara or just like an olive oil swopped out for the heavy cream, he looked very confused and asked a fellow server for some help. She was nice enough about it, and did try to suggest some things, but she also sprinkled in several times. "I'm not sure how slammed the chef is though" I wondered what the point of saying that was. Would they have honestly told a customer no? That they couldn't make the same exact pasta on the menu, but instead just throw olive oil on it? I had even written in the notes section of our reservation that I was vegan, and would just like a modified menu item. If that had been a problem, they should've contacted me to say that they couldn't accommodate me. I was really grateful in the end because they ended up making a mushroom pasta cream dish for me and exchanged the cream for olive oil, and it was actually very tasty. My problem comes with the fact that it took 45 minutes for our food to be delivered, and in that time even the bread we ordered didn't come out for about 20 minutes and we had to remind the server- I think he forgot. When he did deliver it, he only gave us a half loaf when we had asked for a full one. It was the saddest little half piece of bread I'd ever seen in my life. We were starving, and our server wasn't to be seen for a very long time after that so we gave up on asking for more. It was so quiet up there, and our server barely came to check how we were doing. It seemed like all the other tables were being attended to so well, and we were just sitting up there like chopped liver. We even had to ask another server, to ask our server for the check. The whole process took so excruciatingly long and it makes I wonder if I was being punished for having a dietary food request. I felt so uncomfortable there. I felt like an unwanted guest. I wanted to leave so badly. I won't be visiting again. I was very disappointed because I imagined we were going to have a nice time. read more

We had to the mussel with truffle fries and the tuna tartar. The truffle fries on the mussel were absolutely amazing! I was disappointed they ran out of osso buco. So I had the Chilean sea bass which is now one of my favorites! My husband had the lamb chops with was delicious as well. I have been here twice on New Year's Eve have loved it both times. Absolutely delicious! Sopra is a great spot in the downtown/Main Street area amongst many other cool places. But this spot seemed like one of the "nicer" places. We had a delicious bottle of sparkling wine, mahi mahi, a great elevated mac 'n cheese type dish with different meats, lobster wontons, ahi tuna, and an awesome chocolate hazelnut dessert. The service was okay, but it was super busy. A reservation is definitely needed. We heard them say to someone that didn't have a reservation that even the bar was reserved. Also, others have mentioned that it's super pricey, but we didn't think the bill was out of control (though we live in CT). Anyway, we were first timer visitors to Lake Geneva, and this place didn't disappoint. Loved it and would definitely return! read more

Downtown Lake Geneva restaurant that thinks it's more special than it actually is. The food is decent but overpriced. My boyfriend got the salmon and he loved it. I had the duck which I wouldn't recommend. It was pretty tasteless and overcooked. The baby octopus appetizer is delicious and the beet salad with goat cheese is really good too. The ambiance is nice, they follow covid guidelines, all employees are wearing gloves and masks. They have a long drink and wine list. Maybe next time I will stick to the appetizer menu and save some money. read more

Visited Sopra for out anniversary dinner, expecting a higher class, intimate dining experience. Not the case, tables are on top of each other & if someone around you wants to get up everyone needs to readjust. Being from Chicago & they claim to take a "Lincoln park" ambiance, I was slightly disappointed, however I see what they meant. The service was mid, because our server was serving so many tables, it was hard for her to be as attentive and I knew she would have liked. She was lovely & new her stuff, we just did a lot of waiting around. As a fellow server, I knew she was trying her best & the lack of employment is not her fault. The food was okay. The Caesar salad lettuce was wilted and brown. The goat cheese appetizer was to die for, so delicious. My partner got pasta "nice mussels, sweety" referring it to taste like clam chowder & very over salted. I ordered the "lakeside pretty" it was bland & said to be served with asparagus but it was served with broccolini. The puree was not garlic, just extremely salty. Another try at the restaurant is definitely in order, however I was not overly impressed. read more

At a place where the chef demands you order a certain way, the food should be perfect. I liked this place in general, but found it annoying that we were not allowed to order appetizers until we had decided on everything. We ordered the goat cheese and adopts salad. It'll both were tasty but the arugula was over dressed. Of the arugula is wilting at the table it has too much dressing. I wouldn't normally complain but when a service had to say things like "the chef prefers..." then my judgment level increases. I orders them scallops and my mom ordered the duck. My scallops were pretty good but only seared on one side. One of them was huge and undercooked as a result. But the others tasted good. My mom ordered the duck and really enjoyed it but it was over cooked. I tried it and it tasted good but agreed. Our server was really nice. Please let the chef know that if he is going to make demands about how you order, then his food should be perfectly executed. read more
