Pooped in for lunch while cruising at the swap meet. We had the teri beef and fried noodle combo. I was pleasantly surprised. The Teri beef was moist and had a great teriyaki (sweet salty) flavor. The noodles were my biggest surprise. It had tons of flavor......not your typical shoyu type flavor. Rather a buttery and garlic punch of flavor. Then not sure if it was intended, however I enjoyed that there were few crunchy bits of noodles, reminded me of cake noodle bites. They have a wide variety of options and their teriyaki beef fries special is the popular item. They also have shave ice. The only downside.......what a smack in the wallet....i forgot I was in tourist trap place haha.....$22 bucks for a plate lunch, whaaappppaaaakaaackkk lol. . The staff were pleasant, friendly, and food came out relatively quick for the consistent line of food they were delivering. read more

We got a chance to try J & Dz when my wife and I were at the flea market at Aloha Stadium. It was pretty popular with a constant line. I was intrigued by the dynamite teriyaki beef fries and we swung around towards the end of the flea market and were happy to snag one of the last remaining orders. I guess they were running out of fries. The visuals were impressive, although the price was not ($18 oof but all the food at the swap meet was overpriced). Family run and Christian. Sweet vibes and friendly. We sat on some benches nearby. Flavor was good and strong but too salty for us. We split the fries and it was a good meal substitute for us. Nothing too special. Probably wouldn't go out of my way for it but not a bad option if you're at the flea market. read more

I had the teri beef and noodles. Beautiful presentation and tasty. Not overcooked or dry . Secondvplate was a locomoco, gravy was very tasty. All sauces are handmade no store bought premade stuff. If you wanna find the best chicken and waffles on island, look no further. My boyfriend and I were betting on if we could find some good chicken and waffles because we were craving the mainland restaurant Roscoes. And TBH I think this might just be bettah . The chicken was SOOO crispy and the inside was legit the juiciest meat ever... they give you two waffles if you get the large, and if you make it into a sandwich... just saying YOU can thank me later. Went and bought breakfast at J&Dz today and service was great. Seasoning on the eggs was a nice touch. There Mac salad by far is the best I've tasted. Even came with French toast. And funny thing was that I dropped my cell phone while picking up my order. Went home and just realized my phone was gone. I went back to J&Dz and a nice girl working there found it on the ground. She even tried to reach me by calling some of my contacts on my phone. Just shows how honest and good these people are with there customers, service, and there good food. Everything was awesome. Staff was friendly and I appreciated the easy ordering. There wasn't a single thing I didn't think was amazing.

So thankful J & Dz Mobile Grindz was at Geiger after my family and I were in the never ending circle conversation of "whats for dinner". This was our first time and we are looking forward to many more food trips to J&Dz. We ordered the hamburger steak, Hawaiian plate (you know it's gonna be an AMAZING and real Hawaiian plate when the chef asks you if you want green onions in the chicken long rice), and the New York steak and got it with gandule rice and I cannot say enough about how delicious and amazing everything was. They are also so welcoming and friendly and we are so excited to keep going back to try everything on the menu. Mahalo to our new favorite Food Truck!!! Stumbled upon this jewel while browsing yelp of places to eat. Generous portion and reasonably price. We order 4 plates, pork chop gravy, dynamite chicken, teri beef noodle, and fried shrimp. They all super!! I should have ordered the dynamite pork chop (i thought it would be too spicy for my kids but they are mild spicy and my 11yrs is ok with the heat). I will be back for more dynamite chicken and noodles!! The only sad part is they close early so go there before noon or you will miss the train. read more
