I ordered from here on 11/14/20. I placed an order over the phone. When the person answered I asked what comes in the stuffed pizza, they answered, sausage, mushrooms, ham, and pepperoni. They did not say cheese so I asked if there was cheese. The person that answered my call now sounded annoyed, and they answered "yes of course there is cheese" it sounded kinda rude. Now let's get to the end of the call. They said "you are calling Central Square " and "I say I hope so I'm only down the road and this is my first time ordering from here". I guess they ask this because they have other shops up north.Once again they sounded annoyed. They said it will be ready in 25 mins and they were about to hang up and I said "you didn't take my name or phone number", and you guessed it they were annoyed at my question. They stated they use caller I.D. and they had all they needed. Ok 25 minutes later and time to pick up! I'm excited to try this stuffed pizza. I walk in I see the counter person. They were not to welcoming. So I say I'm here to pick order for Mike. The person at counter then says we don't have an order for Mike. I then say" I tried to give my name and number when I called". And whoever took my order sad that wasn't necessary. Then they say "we have one for Michael " yep thats me. I asked this person if they were the one that took my order. They were extremely annoyed at that question when they said a lot of people answered the phone there. Well that reaction tells me that it was probably them. Now a little good there was three other employees that came around while I was picking up. So on my way out it was probably the cook he said thanks for coming have a good night and to come back soon. At least thete are some friendly employees here. Now for the food. The stuffed pizza was great. It was full of toppings and cheese. The mushrooms had a fantastic taste. The ingredients blended well. The crust was very fluffy and tasty. It was cooked well and tasted good. I would love to taste the other food especially a pizza from here. I don't think I will go back anytime soon because of the person on the phone and the counter person. Especially after I told this person it was my first time ordering from here and they couldn't treat me with some courtesy, to hopefully have a returning loyal customer. I will probably just keep ordering from the other pizza places just on the other side of the bridge on rt11 in Brewerton.

Good pizza shop definitely better than average. I'll be back for more. Really liked the chicken wings pizza with a nice crunchy crust.

If you have never dined at The Old Ledge, all I can say is GET. THERE. NOW!…read more Don't be fooled by the looks of this place, I promise you, you will receive some of the best food you've ever had in your life! I stopped in on wing Wednesday, and boy, oh boy, was I in for a treat. On Wednesdays, their wings are .75 cents per wing, a minimum of 10 per order. So, in true foodie fashion, I decided to order some for "now and later." I chose their Val wings, Salt & Pepper, and Korean BBQ. We also ordered a Cheesesteak, I had been told by 2 people that this was the best cheesesteak in town, and I just had to try it for myself. Let's start with their wings. Are they a great value ? Yes! Were they amazing? Also, yes! These wings were simply great. Great size, great flavor profile, just great across the board! I can't imagine coming here and not ordering their wings. So good! You're probably thinking, well, what about the cheesesteak... well, I can assure you that the 2 people who suggested I try it did not steer me wrong. This cheesesteak was delicious!!! Full of tender steak, toppings, and loaded with cheese just how I love it. To make matters even better on Tuesdays, you can order a loaded cheesesteak & fries for only $8. The Old Ledge is truly a hidden gem. Great atmosphere, amazing bar staff, and a phenomenal cook!

Great breakfast!…read more Annette's Lakeside Country Kitchen is a casual breakfast and lunch restaurant serving traditional American food, located adjacent to Lakeside Auction in Bernhards Bay. Enter the building through the main glass door and hang right for the restaurant, which behind a plain looking door. The bright dining room has close to 15 tables and seating at the counter. I stopped in at Annette's for breakfast recently. The place was steady with several groups of diners arriving for Sunday breakfast. Annette's seems like the place to be for locals from Constantia and Cleveland. I took a seat at an open table and the waitress arrived with menu. They had a few specials posted on the board and I ordered the Country Omelet Special ($9.99) and a glass of ice water. The food arrived hot 15 minutes later. The portion of food was filling, which was comprised of a folded soft egg sheet filled with shredded hash brown potatoes, sliced ham, onions, and topped with melted cheese (I chose pepper jack) and two thick slices of homemade buttered wheat toast, mixed fruit jam packets on the table. Breakfast was excellent and I barely finished my food. The service was courteous and I wasn't rushed. I would return here again if I happen to be traveling on NY 49 along the north shore of Oneida Lake.

Another outstanding meal at my favorite syracuse restaurant…read more Enjoyed some time this Friday with special people as we sat and enjoyed an exquisite dining out. I was the only returning patron, the others much enjoyed their first time here. Walking through the front door you're instantly hit with a wonderful smell of food cooking over an open fire. Got a terrific table to look out the window and enjoyed a nice evening view. Took full advantage of every food meal course available. Started out with their evening appetizer of homemade bread with cinnamon butter. Each of us got our own dinner choice along with small plates to start. The two small plates were green lentil salad and ember roasted carrots. Both of them with their unique flavor and style. The green lentil salad featured heirlooms. The ember roasted carrots featured labrieth, doqqa, and maple syrup. Keep in mind everything here comes from local farms and local breweries and distilleries. Big fan of supporting the state and local community. Fantastic! They feature only a few main entrées, tonight's included halibut, steak, chicken, and sea Island peas with jasmine rice. Knowing how well seasoned their steaks are, I went with a filet mignon 10 ounce. Probably a little more than I should've gotten, but I very rarely eat steak and know how well and good they are here. Ordered the steak medium to medium rare and that's exactly how it came out. Mouth watering delicious. Along with the steak includes mashed potatoes, chimichurri, kale, and. crème fraiche. Every bite was outstanding. One of us got ice cream for dessert which she said was very good. The ice cream was made right there at the restaurant. We kicked off the dinner with a rum cocktail and a tequila cocktail. All spirits locally sourced. If you haven't tried it here yet you should. You will not be disappointed.

We were promptly seated and ordered glasses of wine while perusing the menu, which is on the smaller side. That usually means everything on it is rather good, so we had high expectations. We started with the Mushroom Toast, Ember Roasted Carrots, and Beef Tartar. I'll start with the bad and finish with the good. The Ember Roasted Carrots were a complete miss. They were trying to go for a middle-eastern flavor, with each ingredient contrasting, while the carrot served as the centerpiece to flavor. I found this to be INCREDIBLY bland. The carrots were not salted enough during roasting and lacked enough char. They dish also needed more labneh than it was served with. It literally just tasted like carrots and yoghurt. Honestly, if I could only give one critique it would be to have used more salt, but this dish was a real disappointment. The Beef Tartar suffered from a similar issue. It was bland. Not enough salt was used. It unfortunately tastes like flat beef. I overheard the bartender talking to another couple and he told them they really want to highlight the ingredients. The idea is purity or something like that. And that's well and good, but you still need to season beef tartar. I don't think this is necessarily a poor execution of the dish(es) rather this is more in line with the philosophy of the kitchen, and that's fine. It's just not for me. And now for the good. The Mushroom Toast was great. It had all the things I had wanted. Fat, salt, umami, freshness. This was a good dish and I would get this again. As for the entrees, my husband and I ordered the Cappelletti and the NY Strip. The Cappelleti was the strongest dish of the night. The flavors were layered and intentional. This was a great dish and I1000% would get it again. My husband ordered the NY Strip along with bone marrow. It was cooked to perfection. Cooking it over a wood fire gave it a great char and almost Smokey flavor. It was very flavorful. The chimichurri made the steak feel lighter than it actually was. My husband loved it and I loved having a bite or two of everything together. This was a complete dish and I'd highly recommend it. The only knock I could give it is the bone marrow. There was a lack of volume in it which is probably due to being cooked over a wood fire. Parts of the bones were also over roasted. I'd skip this the next time and get the foie gras pate. Lastly, for desert we were disappointed that we could not try the rice pudding as they were out of it (we will try it the next time if available). We did however order the Flourless Chocolate Torte to share. It was made perfectly. It was rich and decadent but remained light. It was almost like a mousse, but not quite. We loved it. Overall, the had a great time. There were several highlights and I think they make up for the a couple of the earlier dishes. I'd like to see what else they have to offer when they change their menu.

The ceiling tiles were out of place and each wall was a different color. No one greeted us at the door for a few minutes. Once finally sat, the lady asked us the general questions. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt since it was a mom and pop location...we will not be back.
